Tolan Brown yeah but remember when he didn’t say anything about the white supremacists and he got a lot of backlash for not condemning them and was reluctant
Seriously, whenever I have a discussion with anyone about Trump, they always hold this as proof he is racist because "he refused to condemn nazis and the KKK, and said there were good people on both sides". I then show them this video where he condemns them, that the media ACTUALLY HID: ruclips.net/video/S6PFZNruJes/видео.html, which already shocks them, and then I explain that he was talking about people who think tearing down statues is a good thing, and people who think it is a bad thing as "both sides" (a genuinely important debate). That really helps change people's minds and makes them feel duped. I recommend everyone takes this approach. It's crazy seeing how many people think Trump actually likes the KKK and is a white supremacist and it's a despicable lie.

I know. I couldn't believe it when I saw Biden's initial campaign ad. I was muttering to myself, "You got to be f'ing kidding me. He's using the Charlottesville hoax?". And of course, the most sinister part is I'm certain, just like the media, he and his staffers know it's a lie. How sad.

This is one of the reasons why I'm thinking about going into journalism. I'm so tired of all the lies and propaganda, from "very fine people" to the Covington Catholic kids. I want to share my work and tell people what is actually going on in the world. To give my opinion and hopefully give a conservative voice to others instead of the same leftist shrill.
This is one of the reasons why I'm thinking you shouldn't go into journalism. You unironically watch PragerU and think your ideas are some invariant from the people whom you first got your ideas from. They're not. @Charles R. Law I've seen the video you linked to and it's just as selective in its evidence as you presumably claim PragerU is. Not all of the protesters were behaving as you describe. In fact, the video you linked to showed the NYT article about people who went to the rally to protest statue removal and from the comments apparently had no problem with it. You can't have it both ways. Was it good that Neo-Nazis and other scum, including Antifa, showed up to create violence--NO. But if everyone of those sons-of-bitches dropped dead, there would still have been people on both sides remaining. And just because some news outlets got it right some of the time doesn't mean they did not get it wrong at other times. Of these, CNN is the most egregious and continues to spread the lie...Don Lemon, I'm talking to you.
@Dah Bearz Having seen various of the network airings and newspaper articles, I have seen them go both ways on what Trump said about Charlottesville. CNN has been particularly egregious, in my opinion, given how they have flip-flopped on the issue and, at times, still promulgate the lie. Neither video showed this very well. But Shaun's video was just a pissing contest with PragerU, while I think the main objective of PragerU was to highlight the lie. Both were slanted and selective. IMO. Watch the videos and judge for yourself.
@Dah Bearz I didn't read your comment but since the first sentence agrees with my (obviously correct) echochamber that PragerU is in fact a garbage media outlet that prides itself on being conservative yet instead fuels itself on outrage culture, I agree.

Prager "University" is lying to you. It maliciously cherry picks facts to deliberately misinform their viewers. In this specific video, they only reference what Trump said in his on August 15th, 2016 _after_ Trump repeatedly dragged his feet and only disavowed them after there was public mounting pressure. The media focus was legitimate and started years earlier (which this video doesn't show in order to create strawman fallacies). Media coverage scrutinizing Trump was more than fair. Way back in February 2016, he posted a Mussolini quote because he "wanted to be associated with and interesting quotes and people". CNN quickly followed up with an interview soon asked him if he would disavow white supremacists including people like KKK leader David Duke. Trump refused to condemn Duke four times. Trump claimed ignorance about white supremacy and claimed not to know who David Duke was despite: 1. Talking about David Duke days a few day prior to the interview, and sporadic mentions of David Duke in Trump's twitter history. 2. The interviewer explaining to him David Duke was the leader of the KKK. When he started getting heat for that, two days later Trump lied that he couldn't hear hear Jake Tapper's questions.. We can be sure he lied because Trump repeated virtually everything said DURING the interview. Leading up to Trump's condemnation mentioned in this video six months later, the Charlottesville debacle renewed the issue. Trump was asked to condemn the Neo-Nazis and again Trump refused to say the literal words. During his press conference on August 11th, a reporter asked him to disavow and he just wandered off the stage. Trump started pushing his "both sides" rhetoric the next days on on camera for August 12th and 13th. Unsurprisingly, people recognized this as favorable treatment of Nazis because his "both sides" rhetoric was casting the impression that both the Nazi's and the people counter-protesting the Nazis were equally at fault. I should note that the KKK website specifically thanked Trump for how he handled of those questions and for his thinly veiled, clear support. After all, in a fictional scenario where cops catch Hannibal Lector, the Mayor would not hold a conference talking about how "both sides", both have had histories of violent incidents. It would be a transparently obvious move to imply that murderous cannibals and cops are both equally condemnable. After refusing to say those words public outrage finally peaked. A few days later 15th when he caved in and explicitly condemned them once by name. Now, people are simply quoting Trump from the 15th, thinking it is compelling evidence that he was willing to disavow them. For the record, the media (CBS, CNN, NPR, MSNBC, etc.) all accurately reported that Trump disavowed them for that date, *and* how he distinguished the groups of protestors from Nazis. Media critiques of Trump were for valid reasons like his previous attempts to dodge the request; That is why Prager didn't show them.

Question: Why is it white people are not allowed to lobby for their race, and it's interests? If they do, they're immediately labeled "white supremacists" or "NEO NAZI's." Yet, when any other racial group does the same, it's looked upon as righteous. And they'll be the 1st to criticize any white group of people who've gathered together as "whites." How is this fair in any shape or way? And how it that not racism toward whites? PS: BTW, I would be perfectly happy if all Americans simply forgot about their race. Wouldn't bother me a bit. However this isn't reality in today's world, and as long as it's this way, I'm about tired of the "war against whites."
Your question is a fair one, but you know the answer: history. Historically, white pride gets linked with racism toward other groups. I'm not suggesting that this is always the case in today's society, but the stigma is thick. Just to be clear, even as a black man, I support the right to exercise free speech, ESPECIALLY for those with which I disagree. It's the Left that wants to take that away. I'd rather live in a free society and then deal with the evil that exists than live in a government engineered attempt at utopia.
The democrats lost the election. This is their response -- Anifa, the threat of white supremacy, the President's a racist, etc. etc. Do you really want these people in power? Not on your life.
In an ideal world, race would not matter. However, the sad reality is that this country was built on racism, and whites have consistently been at the top, keeping others down for most of that time. The fact is that, as a group, we have the majority of wealth, power, and control. So there's no good reason for us to fight for anything as a group. It only ever ends up being about harming non-whites.
@@kfjw While I'll agree with the first sentence. The rest is a racist meme. Especially the belief that there is no good reason for us not to fight for what is ours. If others will fight to take what is ours, then we must at the least defend ourselves. We need not strike back and take what is currently theirs. Indeed, it would be better if we instead built them up. But, people of European descent have been trying to build up the rest of the world for centuries, and they always strike our extended hand. Now, it occurs within our countries, the people we allowed in or to stay out of the goodness of our spirit assault us, steal from us, even murder us for the mere fact of our differing races. While we chide ourselves for thinking of them differently than ourselves. That era is coming to an end. The only reason it could exist was not for education against prejudice, but a deeply held prejudice that the blank slate was a real thing and people could be molded as easily as pouring water into a differently shaped glass.

It was this situation that opened my eyes to how deceitful mainstream media can be. Every time they stop the clip, I'm thinking to myself, "he does exactly what you said he didn't within sentences from where you stopped your clip"
Neo-Nazis and white supremacists aren't blind to the fact that their ideologies are not mainstream. They _expect_ explicit condemnation, but implicit affirmation is not lost on them. When the president dog whistles support, the damage is done, even if he claims to abhor them later, which they already expect any president to do. That's why the newsworthy item isn't Trump's lip service after his damaging comments. Condemning hateful ideologies is to be _expected,_ not applauded. It wouldn't be news if Joe Biden said "I condemn the Taliban" because we already _expect_ that any American president automatically would. If he said "there are very fine Islamic extremists. I condemn the Taliban", it's the first part that's most telling--and damaging. You don't get to toe the line when it comes to Nazism. There's no grey area, no hesitation, no equivocation. You can loudly condemn them 999 times, but if you give a whisper of support 1 time, you have failed.

@Dah Bearz Having seen various of the network airings and newspaper articles, I have seen them go both ways on what Trump said about Charlottesville.
Trump claimed ignorance about white supremacy and claimed not to know who David Duke was despite:

There's a verse from the Queensryche song 'Revolution Calling' (a 31 year old song, now) that sums it up pretty well:
"I used to trust the media
To tell me the truth, tell us the truth
But now I've seen the payoffs
Everywhere I look
Who do you trust when everyone's a crook?"
Biggest reason I quit watching main stream media .
Because a very specific group want the eradication of Christians and Europeans.
@@kfjw
While I'll agree with the first sentence.

All he said was “I condemn them” but he didn’t put the same energy into condemning them as he does everyone else. Where’s the insults? Where’s the nicknames? Trump is rampant on Twitter when it comes to bashing people he doesn’t like, yet where was that during Charlottesville? Any group of people who yells “Jews will not replace us” deserves the same vigorous condemnation Trump gave Omar and Cummings, yet I didn’t see that from him. Not to mention, I seem to recall Trump conveniently forgetting who David Duke was during and interview with Jake Tapper while he was campaigning. Also, the event itself was organized by Jason Kessler, a known white supremacist. Those people who were just there to protest the statue, I’m not sure why the thought it was a good idea to go there given it was known what the event was about.
@@vgames89 *if i copy paste this enough people will beleive it*

Caroline. The reason why I pasted my comment multiple times was out of spite. I made a respectful comment disagreeing with this video and the responses I got were insults. So afterwards I decided to copy and paste to see if anyone would respond with civil dialogue. I don’t mind being told why I may be wrong, but so far I haven’t had such luck.

They need to keep these historical statues and learn true history.
KLOP no it’s called reading a history book
Statues don't teach history, books do. Unfortunately, southern Confederate sympathizers (most of which are Republicans, by the way) have manipulated the information in southern textbooks to push the Lost Cause myth.
You learn history from the books and texts. Robert E Lee is a traitor and shouldn't be honored.
@@marcosdelacerda9874 exactly correct. The penalty for treason is death: its time to kill every confederate flag waiving traitor. This couldn't be more straightforward. Right-wing racists hate America, and always have.

As much as I watch Fox News, and I mean I watch it ALOT, I didn't know about the non violent protestors.
that whole protest seemed fishy, the media was showing the neo nazi group, the people looked like antifa in brand new uniforms, you could see creases, as if the shirt just came in the mail
Also what I didnt know was that the guy who ran over Heather only did so because she attacked him and he feared for his life.
I never heard Fox MC's claim before. Where is that documented? I figured he just lost his temper.
The whole Vice News piece was an orchestrated event--the tiki torches, the camera lenses, the stroll around the block in the middle of night--it was as all fake.
@@DAN007thefoxx1 that narrative is completely false and was debunked already. the man who ran the people over was never attacked until AFTER he ran people over. ive seen the footage of the car speeding toward the crowd no one was in the vicinity of where the car was coming from. and even more there was 2 roads he could've turned onto just before the crowd.

Robert E Lee - Son of Revolutionary war veteran, graduate of West Point, veteran of Mexican American war, defender of Virginia in the war between the states, anti slavery and called it evil, and President of a university.
He was a great man
Jason “I think it would be better for Virginia if she could get rid of slavery. That is no new opinion with me. I have always thought so, and have always been in favor of emancipation - gradual emancipation.” - Robert E Lee
Jason Lee didn’t want his father in law’s slaves. He described them as violent and dangerous. He couldn’t free them, because there were binding issues.
John Brown wanted to start a war with the south and illegally took over the town of Harpers Ferry. Lee put an end to it.
Jason “I will never draw my sword against Virginia.” - Robert E Lee
Jason Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest led the attacks against the kkk. He passed General Order One to dissolve the kkk and worked with Tennessee Governor Brown to arrest or kill active kkk members
Jason No Lee pretty much just retired the last 5 years of his life.
No 6 men from West Tennessee started the kkk. Forrest was the first grand wizard, then he realized what the kkk was and tried to destroy. It’s an incredible story and sadly most people don’t know about it. Forrest even spent his fortune to build churches for the black community.
Finally a solid video answer to the Charlottesville lie. Thank you PragerU

“I think it would be better for Virginia if she could get rid of slavery. That is no new opinion with me. I have always thought so, and have always been in favor of emancipation - gradual emancipation.” - Robert E Lee
Rob E Lee in 1864 to Jeff D " Can we speed this emancipation thing up a bit?"
P100R100 Nope. He committed genocide and tried to conquer the world. The Confederacy were Americans who wanted independence, but rejoined and fought for the U.S again
P100R100 “I have always thought `Dixie’ one of the best tunes I have ever heard. Our adversaries over the way attempted to appropriate it, but I insisted yesterday that we fairly captured it. I presented the question to the Attorney General, and he gave it as his legal opinion that it is our lawful prize. I now request the band to favor me with its performance.'” - Abraham Lincoln

Why would he bite the hands the feed him?
Mayor and police were unable to deal with the violence? The mayor literally told the police to stand down. Why is the video covering up the fact that the mayor who knew violence was going to break out intentionally removed the protection of that occuring.
It was this situation that opened my eyes to how deceitful mainstream media can be. Every time they stop the clip, I'm thinking to myself, "he does exactly what you said he didn't within sentences from where you stopped your clip"
ruclips.net/video/4T45Sbkndjc/видео.html
This video is an oxymoron: truth and CNN together! LOL
I’m pretty sure protesting to keep a confederate icon statue doesn’t make you a fine person. Whether you were violent or not.
There is no such thing as fine people, who support Confederate statues. Those statues stood for racism. There is nothing fine of wanting to celebrate slave owners.
This is like the definition of gas-lighting lmao

What I love is that this video claimed that all these outlets never mentioned Trumps condemnation of nazis.

Know why trump doesn’t wear glasses at 73yo?????? Cause he’s got 2020!!!!!!
I don't know, the gun-owning community is starting to balk from supporting him for anti-2A leaning comments.
He might still get the votes if there's no hardcore 2A candidate or if there's a hardcore anti-2A candidate, but it's too early for that to not be the case. Or he might reverse course & support something like the old HPA, or the SHARE act, winning the community's support & good will for a long time to come. And this last part wasn't Trump specific, it goes for a lot of Republican officials too. This holding action is getting old, and there's growing discontent with the Republican party for not pushing back to retake rights thoughtlessly legislated away. They're too compromising when the anti-2A side has repeatedly shown itself not willing to compromise in good faith. We want legislators pushing for the rights of the people, not just willing to stalemate for what hasn't been lost *yet*.
If I were Trump I would order my press secretary to play this video to the reporters before every press conference for the next month.
