I did some something crazy last year, I bought a 1949 Case SC for no reason I certainly didn't need it but it is fun to toodle around with. I was recently diagnosed with MS. It was a bitter pill to swallow. I found a really good support group and that has been a Godsend and I think your hair looks awesome.

  • @donwise8000

Kip.... I've watched and listened to your videos and concerns about the future of the farm and providing income for everyone that wants to farm. I'm going to suggest a few things to think about. More employees requires more income. Bottom line... more milk production. So you're changing feed storage and TMR quality. EXCELLENT. Now I would suggest you bring in an expert to redesign the freestall barn[s] and upgrade the parlor asap. Objectives being more cows, faster milking times, more milk, rapidly increasing revenues... possibly taking a second look at the parlor where I think you bought the second milk tank. Might be the best short term option and cost effective. Take a look at the 10th Generation Dairy farmers feeding solution. Upright silo replacements could be an option with Lely automatic feeding. You might have to make a significant Capital Investment spread out overtime, but the finances are solid and NEVER GET BEHIND in staying ahead and having steady growth and technology... BEST WISHES!!!

Tell the horses to go back home which was 6 miles they would turn around and go right back home all by themselves. Good stories he told.

I enjoy your family stories.. being in my 60s I remember going to Rochester, Romeo, Almont and up your way when I was a kid to get vegetables from the roadside stands and pickup trucks. It was a 2 lane road and felt like an all day ride. Apple time was the best nobody could make homemade apple butter like mom.. I know your family's loss.
Keep the videos, stories coming..And give the kids memories they will keep forever.

For a tractor with duals on it looks like a rough ride. It makes my back hurt just watching. You should check the air pressure in the back tires. I would have 15 pounds or less in them.
I think if you do some looking you could find the recommended pressure for the weight that the tires are carrying.
    Just a thought.

Howdy Kip, I hope ya'll are doing well,
About your haircut, it's just hair, it'll grow back if ya'll don't like it, personally, I think it's just fine, I prefer very short hair, never was a fan of long hair, besides, working on the Farm, during the summer, I always keep my hair even shorter, and as far as a midlife crisis, well I'm 54, and I still haven't had a " midlife crisis " lol what ever that is.. I just take 1 day at a time, and that's worked for me for the past 54 years lol if you feel the need to buy a corvette because you think your having a midlife crisis, than so be it, big deal 😂 Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friends
