It be like Farm truck and Asians when they drag exotic cars, imports and big headed muscle cars with their dung beetle. Definitely a beautiful sleeper.

Kudos to you, you reminded me of my self back in 1990 I had a 1983 Toyota Celica and I did some mods my self in a the conservative side with a TO3/TO4 Hybrid small turbo, economy intercooler stock ECU that a friend help me reprogram for better injectors, better fuel pump, upgrade the suspension for Eibach German springs and Tokiko Japanese struts, it was no 6cyl. 2JZ because it was a stock 22RE automatic but it was fast enough to beat integras of that time. Well done and I am very proud of you. We are responsible to where we want to go when we have a goal. WELL DONE !!! 🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗🚘🚘🚘
That's crazy how you ordered a turbo kit and didn't even know how to install it at the time lol, learn as you go. That's pretty amazing. I thought I was brave for trying to replace a water pump on a 1.8t because I'd never taken off a timing belt before and I even got to see a whole video of somebody doing it first.
@Micheal Gonzales no actually, ricers just puts ridiculous body kit that weights a fucking ton just for look, not even for aerodynamics they probably don't even know what it is lmao

Awesome video bro! 600 hp in that little hatch is insane!! I drive a 2000 Mustang GT convertible that's auto. Have full exhaust, intake and throttle body. I have in mind everything i want to do as of right now.. Built cammed motor, Bullitt intake manifold, Procharger d1sc, Tremec T56, 04 Cobra IRS, much more.. when you said you had it for three years I thought what the hell am I doing because I'm coming on 4 years and only have bolt ons. But also you talking about how you built your car and learned how to work on cars in the process just gets me thinking I'm doing good where I'm at. Nice Civic , it's insane! I onow these can be fast with just 300 so your def moving at 600. I want 500-550 and I would still get walked by a Civic like yours with me putting almost twice as much $ then you did.
This is why I build civics... i have about 3k into my current civic build and I'm shooting for 600whp by the end of it all. Its b20v, fully built, sleeved, in a ek coupe. Gonna start making vids once I get it done. Love your content dude, only RUclips channel I look for daily
I doubt he had his parents help. I was able to save up 3000$ just working at Taco Bell when I was in my Senior year for my first car. Civic's you can find for about 2K. That's maybe like 3 months of part-time Taco Bell pay-checks 4 months tops and that's if you spend some of it along the way. It's really not that hard to save up for a car guys. It all depends on how badly you want it.
+810 Idiot I guess working that type of job in america isn't that bad after all cuz you were able to save money for car parts. Here in my country it's a damn struggle.

Hey man, digging the car. Couple of thoughts.. always add a quick grand to any budget. By the time you add up every little hose, clip, wire, sensor and the liquids. it's always more than you think. And the only thing that matters about your car is that you're having fun with it. You don't have to explain yourself to anyone. Keep up the vids. :D

Hello, im new and was wondering what would be the best and easy engine swap to make on a 93 hatchback. Im in highschool so.....its still not mine yet. (Im a junior but I will try to get my permit in the next few months to drive) So far I have changed the suspension and rims of the car. I have also changed some other stuff but I don't know the names of the parts I have changed. Control arms and some other stuff down there. I have added some strut bars and changed the steering wheel to an NRG one. I just want to start making the car feel fast than making it just look cool. It has a different exhaust which purrs nicely. Thank you for your time. My dad got the car for 1,650 bucks. We have only spent 700 at max for all we have done to it. My dad also wants to have it repainted because the original paint is starting to peel a bit.
I mean with the EG's it's really how much money you have to spend on a swap. They have adapters that will allow you to put pretty much any honda engine that is available out now. For ease and price i'd say a b-series would be your best bet B18c (OBD1 GSR) motor for decent stock hp and VTEC.
if you're just starting with the Honda scene and maybe you don't have a lot of tools for a big swap like a k swap, I'd suggest going b20 high compresion. its a lot of plug and play with the b series engines, so start off with the b20 swap and think about what route you wanna go with it, either N/a or boosting.
giovanni serrano I completely agree with Tuner. If it were me I would go with b series, start off with a b16 or b18 with minor bolt ons and save money and gradually move up to a turbo build. Or if your stock d series isn't in too bad of shape you could opt to do a turbo build on it. It just depends on what your end goals are and how far your willing to go with it.
giovanni serrano I'd say if you want to do a cheap and easier build, go D16Z6 with the single cam.. those things can make a lot of power the same way the DOHC engines make and even though it's not that powerful from factory, it's a light engine.. plus the EG is a lightweight car so when you turbo it, it'll be the best of both worlds.. especially since it's even less moving parts on the head
damn guy, this really makes me motivated to do my 97 civic...i prob wont have the money to go to 600hp.....shit....if i could get 300 i would be over the world....well done guy, respect all the way
Lol my car came out to be 8k 2000 si shell 1500 K20z1 2000 Motor mounts and headers etc 500 Kpro 1000 Engine Harness tucked 600 Fresh paint 1200 Soon tune all motor so another 500 and nitrous kit another 500 I'm only 19 and build it by my self
Well done...what you've learned doing this will only make life easier down the road. I wish I would've been as interested in this stuff when I was your age. I had plenty of slow cars that would've been fun to mess with.
First car I actually paid for myself was a 01 Honda Prelude, I was wreckless and honestly couldn't drive stick shift as well as I thought I could. At the time I was 17 and burned through 2 clutches which cost me 600$ each time to get a new one, plus the car itself was 3800 so that puts me at 5k already. What ended up happening was the car had more problems and I was honestly an idiot when it came to make decisions like where to take my car to get fixed and all. i had kept taking it back to the same guy who sold me the car to get it fixed and eventually sold it back to him for 2k I think because I had actaully fucked up the front part of the cars body trying to race 2 of my co workers at the time. I got an 03 nissan altima now which cost me 4500$. That car was actually a really good car but I managed to fuck this one up too. Not even a year I had the car I wrecked into someones porch doing 110 in a 35 zone drunk as shit. The car was totaled. After that I had to serve 2 months in jail plus thousands and thousands in fines and damages to the owner of the house. Well now I go to buy another car this time I got a 05 mazda 3 paid 5k for it cash. Not even a year into I owned it I let a "friend" drive my car while he was drunk because I thought I could trust him going down the street to get some food while I waited drunk too. I had already had 1 dui at this time so I didn't want another one. Well he crashed it into a huge rock literally. Well the airbags in my car went off and had pretty bad front damage but the motor was fine and it was still very drivable. So I went and got it fixed which cost me about 2.5k I paid for myself. I still have the car to this day now it's rusty and idk how much it will cost to get the rust fixed but I'm 22 now and all the shit I went through in the past makes me think everything through before I actually do it.
Aye lit Haha I was just sharing what I have went through so no one else does the same dumb shit I did. You live and you learn man I can't take any of that shit back all you can do is learn from it and keep moving forward.
Dude, even if people say that your car sucks because is just ah old civic, remember that real tuners don't look at what a car is, they look at what a car can be. You're a real tuner, man. I respect it a lot
I have asked this before but never get a answer, But are you running that motor with no sleeves? A H-22 is a FMR walled block = bad on boost. Good thing different pistons sense cause very common with the H-22 to break ring landings
Love the videos bro and just subscribed a day ago, keep up the good work! Makes me want to stop working on my 350z and buy a project Civic just to turbo and fuck around with lol.
the hondata ecu is $300 the tune is however much his pro shop charges for a dyno tune. and if he's had it there multiple times for multiple times hes probably spent well over $1,000 on just getting the car tuned.
Awesome job! Credit to you for going out and simply being ambitious. That's how you get things done in life. I'm 29 this year and I'm trying to get some financials in place to maybe just settle for a hatch. I bought a project 89 hatch when I was in college a few years back and wanted to do exactly this. Things didn't work exactly they needed to and the process I'm sure is slow but rewarding when you do this rather then go out and buy a new sports car. I'm no handy man and sure want to do this for the passion for cars and the pleasure of learning.
Very nice. I'm 34 and have ed9 and an eBay turbo kit, vitara pistons, eagle rods, ostrich etc . did several swaps before but never a turbo kit. Learned everything from forums, RUclips and books. Never went to a meeting. Just need to find the time to build it lol.
daaamn, keeping it real man. Liked and subbed. I had a similar story man. Way back in 2006 I got my first car (albeit it was pricier :p) and it was the brand new 8th gen civic si. I didn't know how to drive manual either and had to get my dad to go with me to pick it up and drive it home. Kept it bone stock for almost 2 years (while I was still in university) before I started my long modding road. Had a really good friend who worked at a local modding shop which really worked out for me as far as getting work done on the car since I had almost zero knowledge at the time. Anyways, its 2017 now, the car is 11 years old, has 213000km on it (ALL FROM ME). Runs like a dream and has an AJP turbo kit (from some tuning guys based out of Florida who specialize on the 8th gen civic si) on it tuned to ~414whp as of the last dyno at about 11psi (about 3 months ago). I can consistently beat most of the american muslce on the roads here (mustangs, corvettes, chargers, etc.) and recently I kept up with a Ferrari F430 on the highway in a 2nd to 4th pull. I've probably put about 15grand into the car since I got it + its original $30k price so for $45k I am pretty proud of what it can accomplish and haters can go ahead and hate since most of them won't be passing me anytime soon.
I’m really glad I saw your video man lol, just bought my first ever Honda a month ago, first few upgrades I’m already planning is a cold air intake, full exhaust system, and a turbo, with a tube of course. And it’s funny that I gave myself about 3 years too, to hit my goal of 475hp keeping the stock motor, upgrading internals but keeping the overall stock motor, I don’t plan on stripping any internals so I believe 475 is doable, cheers!
and im not being a hater its cus i own a 1994 h22a 210 compression with a m2b4 tune on chrome made 220hp to the wheels and 100shot or 125 NOS if is requiere real monster i have everything for the turbo but worry about sleeves i use VP racing gas only

Strongly agreed! Although I think he could put the money aside for another build or whatever, his choice, but I think it would be sweet to see some videos of him dragging for cash. It be like Farm truck and Asians when they drag exotic cars, imports and big headed muscle cars with their dung beetle. Definitely a beautiful sleeper.
Michael Gonzales because most people race from a dig for cash, and he will lose to 400hp rwd cars with slicks who actually prepare there setups for launch, not just 60 rolls...rofl.
Michael Gonzales well let's see BOYS . where you at ? I happen to have a bag of money just layn around to see who has the ballZ to put up 3g's . you can prep , IL even give you a rolln 6 car.
Michael Gonzales well let's see BOYS . where you at ? I happen to have a bag of money just layn around to see who has the ballZ to put up 3g's . you can prep , IL even give you a rolln 6 car.
respect brotha, keep up the hard work!! And i love the compassion you guys have for cars in general!!
can't wait for this car to be put back together. love when a honda with just fart can true to race you cracks me up
Good for you man. I got my license in a hatch, first car was a hatch. I’m building a 50’s hot rod right now but I always have that itch to relive my hatch high school days. Thanks for the video.
you got 600 hp out of a h22 with no sleeves... I'm impressed
What are sleeves
It's probably a jdm block
It actually makes 724hp now.. You can make 800+ lol
West Mountain Motorsports jdm block??? Its the same shit as USDM its all frm
@@4door_papi not the same as U.S, the JDM h22a is closed deck can hold a lot more power
Definitely a cool journey for this build and a nice story to go along with it. The fact that you've learned so much so fast is commendable to say the least. Can't wait to do this myself or a build very similar at least. Thanks for the vids. Keep up the great work!
Dude you are fuckin' awesome! Fuck anybody who doesnt like this.... You will have lots of subs before to long.
Yesss hommie! you're doing an awesome jobfor you age. I'm 31 and when I was 20... 450hp was the fuckin pinnacle for me. I hope you continue to do what you do and I think you guys are an amazing influence on ur generation and future generations to come! Keep up the good work and the dope videos!
Nice ride. Sadly enough there are plenty of haters out there. I give you mad respect though, I bet it surprises a lot of people on the streets, in 'Mexico' of course, lmao.
Damn you came a long ass way. You learned everything so fast
cut the back bumper so you have less drag and it looks insane
haha alot of ricers do that and they aint even fast lmao but atleast he can have a reason to cut it
it'd look good in my opinion..but he's pounding 600 hp ...aerodynamics starts to play a role on this one lol
@Micheal Gonzales no actually, ricers just puts ridiculous body kit that weights a fucking ton just for look, not even for aerodynamics they probably don't even know what it is lmao
fiber glass aint that heavy bro
Half the commenters aren't even grasping the statement lmao. Where did body kits get mentioned?
Much respect on your build!!!!!! The haters are mad cause you are kicking there ass!!!!!! I would love to do that to the del sol I just picked up!!!!!
Bro ur car is what I want for mine I have the same car and I keep telling everyone I'm going h22 but people hate so bad, keep sayin "go gsr" after I seen this bro, I'm going h22, this is a sick build bro...keep them vids coming
H 2b..
gsr are shit h22 all day
James Rogers hell yeah H22!!!
Totally bro sick bro yea bro.
john aranjo hyphy ass nigguh lol
I just bought a 99 Honda Prelude h22 5 speed and want to do this build! 😍
Yup! That's what I'm currently doing... mine is a 1998.
Check out their newer stuff, they have a 1000bhp Prelude ;)
Please do. Do that beautiful body it has some justice and give it speed.
Awesome build, dude. Lots of history in it! Keep er goin!
just subbed, my first car was also a ek hatch cx, bought it for 300
i don't like hondas but i can respect how badass you made it and your time effort and money put into it great car man
600hp for under $10k is a fcking steal. Thing is tho if you crash then it's a dead end.
Yup ... like every freaking cars isn't it ?
This is why I build civics... i have about 3k into my current civic build and I'm shooting for 600whp by the end of it all. Its b20v, fully built, sleeved, in a ek coupe. Gonna start making vids once I get it done. Love your content dude, only RUclips channel I look for daily
wow very impressive, this is a slap to the face of all those people that say honda sucks
I’m 18 and currently saving up for a 1996 Honda ek hatch. I want to do something like this and this is very inspiring.
Same im doing same thing but in a 95 civic eg coupe H2B
Love the car and kind of a personal question but were paying for this car during highschool or did ur parents buy this for you
Budget Boys I'm wondering the same thing
parents
I doubt he had his parents help. I was able to save up 3000$ just working at Taco Bell when I was in my Senior year for my first car. Civic's you can find for about 2K. That's maybe like 3 months of part-time Taco Bell pay-checks 4 months tops and that's if you spend some of it along the way. It's really not that hard to save up for a car guys. It all depends on how badly you want it.
+810 Idiot I guess working that type of job in america isn't that bad after all cuz you were able to save money for car parts. Here in my country it's a damn struggle.
Jonny G Sorry to hear that man. it's still a struggle here too. Im just saying that if you're really really good at managing money (which I am), then you can do it.
Bro I respect you alot , most people don't bulid their own car , I love the civic
I would love to meet you one day bro keep up the grind. Btw ya should've done the k swap
dont worry the mr2 will get one eventually haha
BoostedBoiz you have kind of the same story as me except I got an 06 fg2 but im still in highschool. trying to get headers on it. your car is mint
fuck a k haha H series #Kkiller
Thanks for the info. Not a boring video. Just straight to the point. Good job on the car
Should've went through and done the k swap it's a whole nother beast....k swap mr2???...keep up the good vids bro!!
it will happen
+BoostedBoiz dude this teaches me to have patient and hard work pays off 😂😂 btw ....jdm roof rack Ahhhh
Its not a boring vid man
Beerad12 has some pretty cool stuff. hes mr2 has a sleeved kseries just under 700 hp i think. hes got videos on it check it out.
respect for your built man,i hope your car is gonna look better and better
next: boost by gear
Dope build, keep it going! I got my clean EG shell for for 400, now with a sleeved built h23vtec motor. Been more focused on my 400whp single cam ek but your vids make me want finish my eg lol
How did you even begin to put that turbo without having any experience?
Turbo on*^
i learned a lot first before i boosted it
BoostedBoiz But like how did you learn to even do a engine swap? I want to build my 4g94 Mitsubishi engine but I have no clue what to start with
Khvndlxr S I have the same question. I have an accord I wanna boost but I dont know how to get started, also I drive it daily so I cant just have it sitting :/
I looked at a lot of videos and forums and asked people questions about their cars at meets and stuff
Nice man, I have been getting alot more into cars aswell, a project I've wanted to do looks exactly like yours! Good to know it will prob not break the bank. It must have taken alot of effort to build that man, and builds like this are what cars guys are all about, Much Respect!
Ya know what sucks? Unless you part it out, it'll probably only sell for 5k max lol.
John he can get money from racing people with it lol
John not even close. seen stock civics for that much
John because its a riced one
TxJonathan Yeah, but stock cars generally hold more value.
John but why would you want to sell it? If ur going to invest time and money into a car just to sell it then wtf are you doing?🤔😂
naw!! 8300 don't sound right!! keep it at 10K lol...
Best Honda channel on RUclips I've been waiting for alone time I own a ek coupe ex model I also have a h22a swap that I want to put in but I don't have the motivation to swap it and your videos motivates me to 👌🏻
beast! kinda makes me wanna do a turbo h lol
I love the bit you add in at the end for the haters who are going to flame you because they are jealous of your build. Much respect sir!
i just picked up a sleeved block hahaha. now i have a jdm h22a and a sleeved h22a1 block. things are looking up for my 95 accord 2 door
Markstarscoobs get a lighter car and swap it into it
Keepo Hdee i will when i get space. i have this car and my truck so can't really get another car. plus it should be a fun little daily when i get it boosted.
Markstarscoobs what kinda turbo is it? Looked at the vid and u said 50 ar compressor side? Looks like a fun build
Keepo Hdee thanks its for fun me and my brothers all have hondas. an s2k my little brothers girls car. my accord, an ef hatch, and my brothers boosted 8th gen civic
Don’t worry about other ppl shit man your project for the first time I can imagine what u can build in the future keep it up bro
Let me know if you want some cheap K swap parts. I've got a lot of stuff sitting around from my Turbo K EG build. Oh and we're both at the same HP. I'd love to see an H and a K compete at the same power levels.
CardsOnTheLow where you located
Oscar Arias
East Coast.
eg parts?
Hey can you still sell some parts? Need some for my RSX build.
Pyrotekis
what do you need?
still driving my first car i didn't even know how to drive stick when i got it, same story. I respect this build HEAVILY! i got a 2001 accord that i would DIE to make a sleeper one day. it would be more liT if i could build it with you guys down the road. hope you guys see this comment, definitely will send you guys pics of my dream sleeper if you would like to see her ;)
10k 600hp is a steal
This vid alone has pulled me down a very very exciting rabbit hole.
It just depends on what your end goals are and how far your willing to go with it.
giovanni serrano bruh, jus LS it. Ur welkum
giovanni serrano I'd say if you want to do a cheap and easier build, go D16Z6 with the single cam.. those things can make a lot of power the same way the DOHC engines make and even though it's not that powerful from factory, it's a light engine.. plus the EG is a lightweight car so when you turbo it, it'll be the best of both worlds.. especially since it's even less moving parts on the head
Kudos to you and all that you have done. Keep at it!
can I ask what program you are using to map the car please.
hondata
damn guy, this really makes me motivated to do my 97 civic...i prob wont have the money to go to 600hp.....shit....if i could get 300 i would be over the world....well done guy, respect all the way
Lol my car came out to be 8k
2000 si shell 1500
K20z1 2000
Motor mounts and headers etc 500
Kpro 1000
Engine Harness tucked 600
Fresh paint 1200
Soon tune all motor so another 500 and nitrous kit another 500
I'm only 19 and build it by my self
nice!
Eddie Guizar fuck you wrote all that and nobody shows empathy for your dumb ass actions 😭😭😭
Eddie Guizar its OK buddy 😘
Eddie Guizar dumbass
Aye lit Haha I was just sharing what I have went through so no one else does the same dumb shit I did. You live and you learn man I can't take any of that shit back all you can do is learn from it and keep moving forward.
Isaac Thanks brotha
Dude, even if people say that your car sucks because is just ah old civic, remember that real tuners don't look at what a car is, they look at what a car can be. You're a real tuner, man. I respect it a lot
An old civic*
00:00-13:13 shit turbo civic owners say
- muscle vs tuner
Jamalma Zahoe the cars gay af I'd rather take the bus or walk
RicerSubaru savage
Josh Tafili you probably don't drive tho
RicerSubaru chicks like jeeps bro. I don't own one but that's wat I see all the time
At least the Japanese cars don't hit crowds 😭😴
Yooo I'm glad I found this page. Yesterday you had 8k subs now you got like 10.1. Growing fast fam!
Almost a million now
I have asked this before but never get a answer, But are you running that motor with no sleeves? A H-22 is a FMR walled block = bad on boost. Good thing different pistons sense cause very common with the H-22 to break ring landings
yes stock sleeves, aftermarket pistons
BoostedBoiz what pistons are you using with the stock h22 sleeves
BoostedBoiz This H22 is an open deck or a closed deck?
Love the videos bro and just subscribed a day ago, keep up the good work! Makes me want to stop working on my 350z and buy a project Civic just to turbo and fuck around with lol.
Where did you get a hondata Ecu tune for 300$??
the hondata ecu is $300 the tune is however much his pro shop charges for a dyno tune. and if he's had it there multiple times for multiple times hes probably spent well over $1,000 on just getting the car tuned.
that was my intial thought.
Ps subbed to your channel. Age is just a number and this motivates me. My days are coming!
What does your car run in the quarter mile?
Very nice. I'm 34 and have ed9 and an eBay turbo kit, vitara pistons, eagle rods, ostrich etc . did several swaps before but never a turbo kit. Learned everything from forums, RUclips and books. Never went to a meeting. Just need to find the time to build it lol.
Whaaaa? you doing all that with H22 non sleeved? Still has the FMR cylinder walls? there is no way.
Stephen McReynolds took the words right outa my mouth....
Stephen McReynolds think he's got a block guard
I really wonder about the stock FRM Sleeves
I watched this whole video hoping to find out what pistons/ rods he is using and i still dont know. -_-
Dylan White right that's what I want to know
daaamn, keeping it real man.
Did you sleeve the H22? Wanna turbo my h22, just pricing the whole thing out
i know this is a long time ago, but how much did you spend on your h22 with the turbo?
phantasy Didn’t do it lol. I went a Turbo KA 240sx lol
Respect from the UK my friend,,,, I'm having my evo3 rebuilt,, Id love to be boosting big power like you guys..;-)
yeeyee hmo ftw..I've gotten 4 different motors from them lol
I'm so tempted to say goodbye to my srt4 , the power and reliability you've shown over the years on this build make me wanna go back to Honda
b series trans in the future?
I’m really glad I saw your video man lol, just bought my first ever Honda a month ago, first few upgrades I’m already planning is a cold air intake, full exhaust system, and a turbo, with a tube of course. And it’s funny that I gave myself about 3 years too, to hit my goal of 475hp keeping the stock motor, upgrading internals but keeping the overall stock motor, I don’t plan on stripping any internals so I believe 475 is doable, cheers!
hey bro so you running on stock sleeves cus i know h22 hold 8psi
you mention only internals and made 600+
hello
and im not being a hater
its cus i own a 1994 h22a 210 compression with a m2b4 tune on chrome made 220hp to the wheels and 100shot or 125 NOS if is requiere real monster
i have everything for the turbo but worry about sleeves i use VP racing gas only
i have videos in my profile check them out i have my setup in a EF
I am sure those ain't stock FRM Sleeves for 600hp
He said he got the motor from hmo so they probably put sleeves in as part of the rebuild
I certainly can respect that. A home built 4 banger that puts out over 600hp that's awesome to me.
I'm African why you clicking at me lol
I would give anything to have a garage to do this kind of project. I wish he was in az I would ask him to help me out. You are a boss man.
