They will be rendered useless and you will be safe (You can always mine them later one by one) 4. Get a pair of shiers, the ancient city overflows with wool on the corridors. 5. I usually give up on trying to light the place up - it's too big of an area. I like to bring a few potions of night vision. Slow falling may also help since You won't be making as much noise. 6. I'd also suggest either making a temporary base with many chests or bringing shulker boxes. There's a lot of stuff You may want to bring with You (even skulk picked with silk touch may be a good way to replenish EXP later or can work as a nice decorative block. Just some things of the top of my head that I recently discovered: You can use forture tools to get more crops! One more tip. When you explore, you said lighting up whole area is a problem because you cant find the way, but if you light it in specific method you will always know the way for example, when you explore new areas (going forward) you always place torch on the right wall, that mean if you want to get home (go back) you always follow the torches on your left side and you will get back
Here's a tip. Put torches only on one side, like only on the right on a wall, so you can just follow them back if you end up in a looping cave. Then if you need more light put the additional torches on the floor.

So, a couple fyi's- Moss blocks can make you a quick and dirty bonemeal farm- When you bonemeal moss blocks, they not only spread to stone or dirt, they produce all kinds of compostable materials- grass, moss carpet, azalea bushes/saplings, or whatever those short ones are called. You have inspired me to finally properly play Minecraft, and I have learned *so much* from your videos. Your storytelling is amazing and your content is so funny while being educational. And your builds are *so creative*. I just love this. Could watch your videos over and over and over. Excited for us to get lost in caves!!
Dude I adore you! Your vids are so entertaining and fun to watch. I love how you mess with us saying stuff like "you're distracting me, Citizen!" and "Let me know if you see something" :3 Please, keep up the great work, bud, that's really some quality content! You are really underrated
I reaaallllyyyy hope you do a 200 day in this world!!!! While I've watched all your 100 day videos and really enjoyed them, this is the one world I would want to see you keep playing on the most. It is just so aesthetic, and your commentary is so matches the vibe so much, it is exactly what I need when I'm trying to chill. I am working on my bachelor's thesis and about to graduate, and I cannot express enough how much this video helped me wind down after working all day everyday 🙏🏻 genuinely something I would want to have as an everyday thing moving forward, even once I have graduated
Brown grid in backpack is built-in crafting table. And as its modded item, liquid tank and other one used if other mod requires drinking or having more water for something, instead of carrying multiple water buckets. Also trading with piglins will give you fire res that will help with blazes and reuse bottles for potions, same with(soul speed) books.
Tip for farming if you stripe your farm by alternating between rows of two different crops your crops will grow slightly faster, of course crops also grow faster with sky access so that would explain why your carrots were growing so slow.
For the future - if you don’t know where to put torches hide them under moss carpet for hidden light. And when it comes to Deep Dark, 2 things: - a lot of wool to not get caught - a lot of ender pearls to easily put distance between you and warden if wool fails :)
I honestly dont mind the backpack mod, but I find the mob health a bit too much. It gets kinda busy when theres alot of mobs at once. My best tip on the warden is to stay as far away as possible, lol. I dont even play hardcore and I still find him terrifying... Btw, the backpacks can be placed on the floor/on a block when in your hand with shift+right click :) and the orange squares in the backpack inventory is a crafting table, but can obviously be used as additional storage :D oh, and one last tip! The villager cycling mod has a key-bind (I believe its V, but can of course be changed) and makes it so you dont have to move your mouse as much 😊
How I take care of myself: 1. I take a walks sometimes after work. 2. I enjoy reading books when I get the chance to. 3. I sit down and watch your videos when it comes out. 4. I eat and sleep. 5. Sometimes when it is warm outside I go out and rest and relax on the hammock and listen to the birds chirping 6. Watch the deer in our backyard. 7. Water the plants for my family when they go out of town. It is very relaxing. That is pretty much it for me, besides playing minecraft in hardcore mode. I don't really like playing with modpacks simply because some of the mods I like to play with aren't in it and I have a lot I like to play around with.
Don't think you'll ever quite know how excited I get when you post! Your longform vids are my absolute favorite. Tips about the Deep Dark/Ancient City/Warden (about a 3.5-minute read): 1. Your observations were correct! Normal mobs don't spawn in the deep dark. Nearby spawners/dungeons will still spawn mobs as usual, though. 2. The Warden spawns after four shrieks (not three! common misconception) within ten minutes. Meaning, if you set off three shrieks, then manage to not set off any more for ten minues, the count essentially resets at zero and no Warden will spawn on the "fourth" shriek. Taking your time in the Deep Dark really pays off! 3. Be warned! More than one Warden can spawn if you set off a fifth or sixth shriek within the ten-minute cooldown period. 4. Toggle sneak when you're in the Deep Dark to avoid setting off shriekers. You can hold down shift the whole time if you'd prefer, but your pinky will get tired after a while. I found it's easier to temporarily set my sneak to toggle. 5. Consider bringing an anvil with you on your adventure. If you can find a Swift Sneak book, you can put it on your pants and get around the Anicent City faster. 6. You can still jump while sneaking, so you're able to step down a block (while usually sneaking prevents you from going off the edge of a block.) 7. Wool is your friend! While placing any other block could set off a shrieker, placing wool won't. If you carefully surround a chest near a sensor or shrieker with wool, you can open the chest without anything sensing the noise. 8. If you do spawn a Warden, try not to panic & tower up with your wool as quickly as possible. The Warden's sonic boom range is only 20 blocks, so if you can get out of his range quickly enough, you'll be safe to snipe him from your wooly tower. Running away 20+ blocks also works, but he can and will chase after you. 9. Wardens are blind, and if you sneak, they can't hear you. However, they can smell you. It's best to stay out of their range in general. 10. Sometimes eggs or snowballs can be useful to distract the Warden. It's not my favorite tactic because they only stack to 16 and quickly clog your inventory, but they can be helpful in a pinch. 11. Consider bringing night vision potions. The deep dark is, welll, dark. The better visibility you have the safer you can be. 12. Maybe practice in a world you don't care about as much or a regular non-hardcore survival world first to get a feel for what it's like, before risking your precious hardcore world! Good luck & have fun! Cannot wait to watch more of your content, whether it's in the Deep Dark or not!
Boss: What did you do on holiday vacation? Me: Ignored my family and binge watched LegionVee Boss: ... Me: His videos are long but very entertaining Boss: ... Me: Can i interest you in a Roman fact?
I have 2 tips for you! So for 1 when you go strip mining go two blocks in between each new like hall because otherwise you would just dig up one new wall and one old wall but when you do a space of two walls in between you will get more coverage and it will help with time just a little. Number 2 I believe the little brown squares in your backpack is a crafting table, so you don’t have to carry one!
I really loved this one. The cave only world is a really clever idea. I definitely enjoy watching you creatively problem solve how to progress in your videos when your worlds/biomes impose restrictions. Also, always dig the glorious Rome history facts.
*I have a few friendly strip mining tips:* *1.* Only make a row every third block. Since every line you mine out will allow you to also see what's directly to the left and right of you, when you mine every other row, you're overlapping your theoretical vision and being inefficient by deleting the row that you'd see to your right anyway if you'd skipped 2 blocks before making a new row. *2.* Definitely mine higher than just your two blocks of height. Not only does it feel and look better, but you're literally making it 50% more likely that you'll find something without wasting space or time. *3.* If you strip multiple levels, always skip 2 blocks of "floor" for the same reasons you skip two blocks of hallway. *4.* If you want to minimize torch usage, only mine 7 blocks in for each row both to the left and right of your main branch. *5.* When adding a new branch, do so 16 or 17 blocks away (either left or right) of your previous branch. Once again, this will make sure the rows of each branch have 2 blocks between them. Doing it this way, you'll be able to see each of those two from their respective branches, this is so you don't over-mine and waste your pick; same idea as skipping 2 blocks of floor and 2 blocks per row.
Yes there is nothing wrong with wearing a backpack because the Legion needs all of the items in gear that you can use to survive to spread the Glorious message of the Roman Legion to the four corners of Minecraft💪🗡️
Hey just letting you know if you'd made your villager a mason you could have traded clay for emeralds and not had to make a tree or crop farm, cause the cave was full of it. I think the mason's job block is a stonecutter. The mason also trades stone, diorite etc for emeralds.
My self care: Giving my cat, Pan, cuddles and belly rubs, while we watch your videos :) I also read and crochet, but Pan prefers watching your videos to watching me read lol
@@Legion_Vee lol sadly no he doesn't, but his name was inspired by someone who did :) Btw thank you so much for replying to my comment, I love your videos and can't believe you actually responded, you've made my week :) Keep up the great work and keep being awesome Legion Vee
I regularly fall asleep rewatching your videos and last night I had a dream you revealed you were actually a very advanced AI that was using minecraft and RUclips comments to become more human Anyway, love the videos, glad you’re not a robot!
Hello I’m the guy who uploaded the datapack onto planet Minecraft. I commissioned it a while ago from a pretty cool programmer Anyway, to start of the world without cheating it’s possible to punch a skeleton to death and then bonemeal the lush tree sapling to make a tree !
Great vid Legion!!! Loved every minute! Hope you do a 200 days and also cant wait to see you revisit your og hardcore world! some things I would like to see in the 200 days video is you make a infinite lava fuel farm. I also think you should explore more. If you want tips for exploring and raiding an ancient city I suggest getting A LOT of wool. Maybe use a cave spider spawner or just mob spawner in general bc you'll need a lot of wool for the Ancient City.
I’m at the middle of the video, so idk if you figure this out yet. But The reason why you can’t see any bees, or see none of them popping out of the hive, is because you have the campfire on. You can get rid of the fire by using shovel on the campfire. The fire prevent them from leaving the hive so it won’t attack you when you gather the honey. If the bees didn’t kill themselves from the fire. You can use flint and steel to lit the campfire again.
Are you sure? I had bees suicide in campfires all the time (that is why they always have trapdoors around them now, to shield the bees from the flames). I am up to my ears in honey, honeycombs etc. with campfires always on underneath the hives. (The fires are not directly underneath the hives there is one blok-space in between them.)
There's an enchantment you can put on your pants called Swift Sneak that allows you to move at a walk while sneaking, and then a hoe will break skulk faster than anything else. The Warden can do distance attacks and gives blindness as an attack so anything that's a distance weapon (bow, trident) would probably be better for a first attempt. Also, I've seen some people make little sound machine's (a trapdoor that keeps going up and down) that'll distract a Warden because they locate you by sound. So if you need to get away or want to keep him in one place this is one way to do that. I loved this video a LOT and I would totally watch a 200 days in this world!
I'm currently crocheting to relax! It's hard on the hands so I gotta take breaks, but crocheting and watching relaxing youtube videos is my top choice when I'm stressed or exhausted
got your video recommended to me by YT, the thumbnail was an instant subscribe! Can't wait to check out your other videos and can't wait for more🤩 edit: you can get a lot of resources by trading with piglins in the nether i.e pearls, potion bottles etc.
Opinion on Backpacks? Love it! I want them in the game! Maybe not the huge modded ones, but a small one, a medium one and a big one, you can die them, put armor plates on and that would be more than enough for me!
Thanks for keeping me company. I like sunlight so this wouldn’t be a 100 Day world I would personally comeback to, but I love what you did with the place.
I’ve only watched a handful of your videos (well, actually watched.), but I use your videos to fall asleep too because you have such a relaxing voice and the storytelling is S tier. 😮💨
With all that clay, I'm disappointed you didn't make any terracotta blocks to build with! It would have been easy enough to make an infinite lava source for your furnaces!
I love how you don't really set up big challenges for yourself, or you don't make these huge redstone machines, or try to beat every achievement etc etc It's nice and fun watching other RUclipsrs do that stuff, don't get me wrong. But the fact that you just kind of go through the motions like you're not trying to be a Minecraft god is kind of refreshing. Another thing, this is my first video of yours that I've found and I absolutely love the Roman thing you have going on. I'm big into mythology so it's nice seeing others who are too! Some things I do to relax are: 1. Drawing/Painting 2. Listening to music 3. Watching RUclips 4. Playing Minecraft
Trade with the piglins you will get a lot of stuff from them like leather, ender pearls and it just takes some gold you also just need to put them in a pit and when you're all done just kill them And you can search their bastion for blocks of gold in in the chest sneakly. Which makes it a lot of easier Instead of going around trying to find a warped forest and killing enderman
this video is so good! i cant fall asleep without watching your videos. i tried to find other videos to fall asleep to but yours are the only ones i can fall asleep to. keep up the good work!!
A new subscriber to your Channel Legion Vee but you’ve quickly become one of my favorite 100 day survival Minecrafters ❤️ One of my suggestions for a 100 days that I like watching are the horror ones. Zombies, Parasites, or any other horror ones that are out there. I think it would be fun! Also wanted to ask what resource pack you use or is it just the complimentary shader pack that you use? Keep up the great videos!!!
Just found your channel the other day, and I love your content! What do you think about a 100 day hardcore challenge where you can only break/place a certain amount of blocks each day, and the number increases each day? For example only break 10 blocks the first day, 20 the second and so on. Another example: break and place blocks combined, and a limit off 25 or something the first day, and then add 10 blocks each day. That way you have to explore and find things, and I think it would make some great content. Can’t wait for your next upload
Little late here but, heres a tip! If you bonemeal a bush like those little mini tree things idk what there called but, if you bonemeal it it should give you a tree!
I feel like with how much people love these worlds yet never come back to them calls for 100 days part 2, the 200 day trials! Anyways awesome video, very interesting concept
This is so relaxing I usually don’t have the nerve to watch three hour video but this was one the of the only ones long videos i have seen and didn’t want for it to end
Oh just so you know lakes in the bed rock ceiling can give you access to the surface. Lush caves was the best starting cave world you could have started with! The glow berries give you light and food. Water everywhere gives you ways up. If you get a composter up you can get bonemeal and use it to make tree's and food from all the moss and moss gives you infinite wood, grass, and carpets. Any bush can be bonemealed for trees. Boats are extremely useful to deal with mobs in general. One down side to lush cave worlds is no passive farm mobs spawn. Technically you could breed two chicken jockeys to get egg laying chickings but thats a pain. Mineshafts are both your greates allie and your your greatest foe in cave worlds. Other cave worlds are impossible without either strongholds or mineshafts. Mineshafts preferred.
I love how you don't do too much like build a super big castle like the other content creators do i love how you made it feel so cozy without giving too much and still enjoyable. I love the small builds and simple stuffs.
Well to answer your question; what I do for selfcare apart from watching your videos ofcourse :) is running or playing lacrosse. Sport always helps me clear my mind :) Great video btw!!
I use a one block hole for trash. I just dump a lava bucket in it. If you got to much clutter, or junk blocks, throw them in the lava and they will be destroyed. Great video!
I've always loved challenges like this. I did one a while back on stream using a datapack that also created a few custom biomes for unobtainable things like honey blocks and the like. Awesome video man. Like others said, put torches on one wall, and USE A HOE!
I, too, enjoy reading and listening to audiobooks!! I’m a huge fan of Horror Fiction, Science Fiction and Fantasy. I do love me some nonfiction especially ones about Arctic Exploration, as well as, Nautical Exploration/History and Survival stories.

Level 1- 5 emeralds

Level 4- 14 emeralds

Those cover all the trades except the "treasure" books- Frost walker, mending, and the curses- for those the basic cost is 10 emeralds.

Hanging leaves and vines below it, and maybe adding some spikes at the bottom and texture, keeping it simple yet interesting

You have inspired me to finally properly play Minecraft, and I have learned *so much* from your videos. Your storytelling is amazing and your content is so funny while being educational. And your builds are *so creative*. I just love this. Could watch your videos over and over and over.
Excited for us to get lost in caves!!
I’m glad I found your channel. You’re not loud and obnoxious, your videos are perfect to just watch or put on while I do other things 💯
Totally agree! I've got it on my laptop while I play Minecraft on my desktop.

This world looks awesome! And I think that using the backpacks is a great idea. Would love to see more in this world.
And when it comes to Deep Dark, 2 things:
- a lot of wool to not get caught
- a lot of ender pearls to easily put distance between you and warden if wool fails :)
The villager cycling mod has a key-bind (I believe its V, but can of course be changed) and makes it so you dont have to move your mouse as much 😊
The one I have is C
How I take care of myself:
1. I take a walks sometimes after work.
2. I enjoy reading books when I get the chance to.
3. I sit down and watch your videos when it comes out.
4. I eat and sleep.
5. Sometimes when it is warm outside I go out and rest and relax on the hammock and listen to the birds chirping
6. Watch the deer in our backyard.
7. Water the plants for my family when they go out of town.
It is very relaxing.
That is pretty much it for me, besides playing minecraft in hardcore mode. I don't really like playing with modpacks simply because some of the mods I like to play with aren't in it and I have a lot I like to play around with.
wholesome comment ngl
Loved this new episode!
Don't think you'll ever quite know how excited I get when you post! Your longform vids are my absolute favorite.
Tips about the Deep Dark/Ancient City/Warden (about a 3.5-minute read):
6. You can still jump while sneaking, so you're able to step down a block (while usually sneaking prevents you from going off the edge of a block.)
These are great tips, thank you!
true thanks for the tip❤️

Would have been nice for you to use the clay to make bricks and incorporate bricks into the builds. Seeing as you had so much clay.
or terracotta
I have 2 tips for you! So for 1 when you go strip mining go two blocks in between each new like hall because otherwise you would just dig up one new wall and one old wall but when you do a space of two walls in between you will get more coverage and it will help with time just a little. Number 2 I believe the little brown squares in your backpack is a crafting table, so you don’t have to carry one!
7 months later and I'm still yelling "YOU CAN GET BOTTLES FROM PILGIN BARTERING"
That cave is amazing! I love how it looks just naturally. Definitely one of the better worlds I’ve seen for sure!
Love your videos, got me back into Minecraft after years of being gone.
I think the mob thing probably didn’t work because theres no water pushing it in the water that push’s to your base
I really loved this one. The cave only world is a really clever idea. I definitely enjoy watching you creatively problem solve how to progress in your videos when your worlds/biomes impose restrictions. Also, always dig the glorious Rome history facts.
100 days just isn’t long enough. We need 500 days here and the water world
Love the mellow tone and lighthearted commentary on the gameplay, absolute gem for relaxing after a tough day's work of a citizen of the Roman Empire
*I have a few friendly strip mining tips:*
*1.* Only make a row every third block.
*If* you can find yourself some drip stone, you can make an infinite lava source, which is my preferred energy source
Hey just letting you know if you'd made your villager a mason you could have traded clay for emeralds and not had to make a tree or crop farm, cause the cave was full of it. I think the mason's job block is a stonecutter. The mason also trades stone, diorite etc for emeralds.
20 minutes in and I'm still yelling in my head "Composter you fool! Look at all that moss! Composter! Please!"
My self care: Giving my cat, Pan, cuddles and belly rubs, while we watch your videos :)
I also read and crochet, but Pan prefers watching your videos to watching me read lol
Hopefully Pan also plays a flute 😁

Well done in the nether 😊
Watching Legion struggle to get bones for bonemeal when there's moss everywhere is really something
I love this guy! Who else loves this guys videos
👇 and comment that you like this guys cool videos.
I regularly fall asleep rewatching your videos and last night I had a dream you revealed you were actually a very advanced AI that was using minecraft and RUclips comments to become more human
Anyway, love the videos, glad you’re not a robot!
I’ve never successfully passed a CAPTCHA so the jury is still out on that one
Anyone else thinks he sounds like Josh from Let’s game it out 😂
You should do a 200 days video and you should make this a series of 100 days for awhile this is sick!
I'm recovering from surgery and your videos have fast become my new comfort videos. So thank you for getting me through 🥰
Hello I’m the guy who uploaded the datapack onto planet Minecraft. I commissioned it a while ago from a pretty cool programmer
Anyway, to start of the world without cheating it’s possible to punch a skeleton to death and then bonemeal the lush tree sapling to make a tree !
I always fall asleep watching your videos and i do my homework to them you video's are amazing. I love them.
let’s go, a new legion vee video. i personally love building in caves, so i’m excited to see this.
Can't wait to check out your other videos and can't wait for more🤩
edit: you can get a lot of resources by trading with piglins in the nether i.e pearls, potion bottles etc.
Opinion on Backpacks? Love it! I want them in the game! Maybe not the huge modded ones, but a small one, a medium one and a big one, you can die them, put armor plates on and that would be more than enough for me!
He is going to be famous I’m calling it
The scream after death is killing me😂
Thanks for keeping me company. I like sunlight so this wouldn’t be a 100 Day world I would personally comeback to, but I love what you did with the place.
I like watching these videos when I'm drawing
It helps with my loud brain
Your tone is so calming and your theme is so fun! I'm so glad I subscribed to you and I can't wait to see more of you!
I’ve only watched a handful of your videos (well, actually watched.), but I use your videos to fall asleep too because you have such a relaxing voice and the storytelling is S tier. 😮💨
With all that clay, I'm disappointed you didn't make any terracotta blocks to build with! It would have been easy enough to make an infinite lava source for your furnaces!
you are so underrated omg
when strip mining; you can leave a 2 block gap between every tunnel, since you cover more area, and can see both blocks
I love how you don't really set up big challenges for yourself, or you don't make these huge redstone machines, or try to beat every achievement etc etc
It's nice and fun watching other RUclipsrs do that stuff, don't get me wrong. But the fact that you just kind of go through the motions like you're not trying to be a Minecraft god is kind of refreshing.
Another thing, this is my first video of yours that I've found and I absolutely love the Roman thing you have going on. I'm big into mythology so it's nice seeing others who are too!
Some things I do to relax are:
1. Drawing/Painting
2. Listening to music
3. Watching RUclips
4. Playing Minecraft
Also I believe you need a 5 block by 5 block water space to be able to get treasure and junk from fishing.
Love the backpack mod personally, its a great QOL mod and not super overpowered
Trade with the piglins you will get a lot of stuff from them like leather, ender pearls and it just takes some gold you also just need to put them in a pit and when you're all done just kill them And you can search their bastion for blocks of gold in in the chest sneakly. Which makes it a lot of easier Instead of going around trying to find a warped forest and killing enderman
clay can be smelted into terra cotta, and then dyed different colors! So if you wanted some fun building block thats one way to get some more.
Ave, LegionVee! Literally every upload from you is a treat and makes my entire day. Keep pushing the glory of eternal Rome!!!
Get glass bottle by trading with piglins for fire res pots, drink pits then glass bottles
this video is so good! i cant fall asleep without watching your videos. i tried to find other videos to fall asleep to but yours are the only ones i can fall asleep to. keep up the good work!!
im enjoying them aswell so soothing, usually lasts for a few days
I love the caves! Hope to see a continuation of this world!!
🇮🇪 i wish you very happy new year brilliant game 🎮
I appreciate that you were Roman enough to post your failures along with your achievements. (Dying in the dirt 10 min😂)
Really loved this new video! I look forward to 200 days on this and many other worlds.
I’m in love with any cave only world. Ore mining galore. So excited to watch this
I feel like with how much people love these worlds yet never come back to them calls for 100 days part 2, the 200 day trials! Anyways awesome video, very interesting concept
This is so relaxing I usually don’t have the nerve to watch three hour video but this was one the of the only ones long videos i have seen and didn’t want for it to end
FINALLY SOMEONE IS PLAYING CAVE WORLDS! so few people play these worlds they still have so much potential!
Sport always helps me clear my mind :)
Great video btw!!

LV: “I think I want a circle”
56:14 NO GOOBERS ALOWED D:< *le dramatic gasp* HOW DARTH U NOT ALOW GOOBERS ):
I use a one block hole for trash. I just dump a lava bucket in it. If you got to much clutter, or junk blocks, throw them in the lava and they will be destroyed. Great video!
I've always loved challenges like this. I did one a while back on stream using a datapack that also created a few custom biomes for unobtainable things like honey blocks and the like.
Awesome video man. Like others said, put torches on one wall, and USE A HOE!
I love putting these on in the background while I sleep
You have no idea how excited I am to watch this! Cave only videos are my favorite!!!
You need to continue this to 200 days at least
I love the travelers backpack mod. Never playing without it again. So lucky you had a zombie drop it for you!
58:38 you missed a diamond. Also you can turn the clay into clay blocks to store more of them or I you smelt the clay blocks you would get terracotta.
I, too, enjoy reading and listening to audiobooks!! I’m a huge fan of Horror Fiction, Science Fiction and Fantasy. I do love me some nonfiction especially ones about Arctic Exploration, as well as, Nautical Exploration/History and Survival stories.
