Loved my Mercedes but when I got hit no airbags deployed. Mercedes did not protect me... The engines are amazing but I couldn't get over the failed safety features. Went with a Hyundai Tuscan Limited AWD... LUXURY + Safety Features To the max!!! Best decision ever!!!
@M.J.G. yes the old engines had serious issues.. the gas line would pop off... this in part to technician rushing and not doing the recall install properly. I agree all vehicle makers have faults but I know hyundai vehicle air bags will deploy.
One comment that I have about the SUVs: We are currently driving the 2022 glc 300 coupe. Heck of a car. About 90k after options and taxes. There is just one tiiiiny detail that annoys me: The foot step to get in and out of the car is too narrow. When climbing into the car it works. But when disembarking, you need to step on your heel, which is a bit awkward, or you just need to reach beyond all the way to the ground, which is also a bit awkward for a 5 feet tall guy. I wish they made it a touch wider, and retractable. Now THAT would be kick ass. They should consider that for the more high end electric lineup.
How does it drive ? Are you satisfied with the ambient light in the night time? Is it easy to look through the rear windshield when driving ? Would you recommend this car ?
@@arb009 It drives wonderfully. Very stable on the road. Even on curves. It feels like a car stuck on the asphalt. The power is plenty enough, and the comfort is just perfect. My wife and I both love it. The rear windshield is not a problem. Yes it is small, but the rear view mirror does a great job showing you what you need. And the 360 cameras have become all that we use, even when backing up. Took a few days to get used to them, but they are very good. I also love using the automatic parking feature. It works very well. Yes I recommend this car without any hesitation. It is a jem, relatively low priced compared ro other models. We took ALL available options. No regrets.

@@arb009 Wind noise is quite low. Not extremely quiet, not zero, but I think that you will find it super low. This aspect will be satisfactory in my opinion. The ambient lighting is to die for if you are a gadget person, which I am. I sometimes spend extra minutes in the car, playing with the light modes. And when I drop my wife at a store, I keep going in and out of parking spots while she is shopiping, using the automatic parking finder. This car is anamazing mix of luxury, so smooth, you cannot not love it.
