Wow! This is one of the best beginner videos I've seen. I know I haven't seen them all, but you are the first one to even mention the basic strum pattern. I guess the rest assume we know. You are playing this the way my instructor is attempting to teach me, and it's never sounded right when I do it. Yours sounds like the song! LOL I'm definitely going to play along with this video. you manage to make guitar playing seem like fun! thanks for the simplification on the chorus -- the C G on "hey" was a bit much for me. love the ending on the 2nd part when you slowed it "down".

I usually use the Cadd9 chord instead of the C major chord it sounds a little different but it's good enough
