I have a 22 10r80 & want just a little boost without compromising reliability since it is my daily & I dont drag race. Which boosted application & brand would better for me in this situation?
I have a ess kit g2 on mines. I have the precision blow off valve. My set up has my bov open at idle so and I added a extra spacers but I heard some compressor surge so I just put the one big spacer back in. Of course this is causing the car to idle slightly rough (rich to lean condition at idle) due to unfiltered air getting in. Do you have the same blow off valve and if so what spacer combo did you use. I emailed precision to see if they can send me 2 small spacers so I can put the combo to shut at 21hg and up at idle. Good luck with the kit.
A G4 head unit should get you into the 8's if you have enough fuel system. It's similar to and slightly outflows the supercharger F1 series. If you're just targeting high 9's the G4 is a bit overkill IMO.
@@rileyneufeld7001He lives in Denver so density altitude is much higher (probably 7000+ like we experience in Albuquerque). This means we run slower than people who race @ sea level since the air is less dense.
@@jmendozas197 Even still you spin a g3x more than enough for high 9's in Colorado air density. All that is needed for 9's is 800whp and a good 60ft. And I'm at 5000DA
@@rileyneufeld7001 It depends what other mods he has though. I know 9s is obtainable, even @ that high of a DA, but it doesn’t mean it’s a walk in the park. Since it’s a centri, he would need a converter and preferably a transbrake to get a good 60ft. I know cars need to make over 800whp through an auto to run high 9s here in Albuquerque (similar DA to Denver), and that’s lighter cars like s197s and Corvettes. A s550 would probably need closer to 850-900whp if it’s stock weight (depends on the trim, as a PP2 with all the bells and whistles will be right @ 4000lbs), so it’ll be a bit more difficult to get the same times. One of my friends made 950whp on his Gen2 coyote through a TH400 and ran 9.90. The weight is what kills the s550 chassis unless you really get after some weight reduction and get it to the 3200-3500lb range. A stock s550 weighing 3800-4000lbs without a transbrake will struggle to get into the 9s in 7000+ DA, unless it’s making some good power to compensate.

Hi Alex, I’m in Australia, I have a custom tuned 3L Whippled 10R80 2020 GT, has long tube headers, full 3 inch cat back, 132mm TB, 3.75 pulley pushing only 660whp on 93. I also have an FI interchiller on it and have billet OPG and CS. Fuel system comprises of an upgraded 900hp rated fuel pump (not return style) plus 1000cc inj. Seems like a very conservative tune but I’m thinking of getting a separate E85 tune for roll racing at our local track. Do you think 750whp with my current set up without pulleying down and/or getting a bigger fuel system capacity is safely achievable?
No you need a return style fuel system with a boost reference for e85. And 660 hp is about right for pump gas ...you're pretty much at your octane limit. Want more power? Needs more boost and better octane with more timing. Or e85, fuel system, and more boost and timing.

Can 20+ GT500 injectors be used as a middle ground between LU47 and ID 1050’s?
I would skip the LU47's and go for the 2020+ gt500 injectors if you're set on staying on pump gas.
Yes.

What about the weight of the car?
What about it.
Hey gang
To all the Flores haters, beat this video!!!!!
I was always told boost-a-pumps are bandaids. Get yourself a real fuel system.
So just stay at 800whp and your fine or this 10r80 is just not it?
Unless you're ok rebuilding it for 5k every year.

Why run a pump booster just buy a new pump.......
@@BobbyB910 name a pump that fits a mustang that flows more than a stock one with a bap. I'll wait. And name the pump based on YOUR EXPERIENCE
@@YDBT4LIFE it's question lay off the steroids....is the stock pump style something that can be changed if not why not run a radium dual pump set up and use 2 stock mustang pumps instead of a voltage regulator on a single pump
I've never owned a mustang but options are always available.......don't be such a dickhead might help you woth engagement and algorithms
