I had a base (300A,3.15, no drag mode) ‘18 10R80 on stock tires (235 a/s) run 11.60s@122 with original pmaf, resonator delete and e85 tune (SSI). It ran 12.50s stock.
Currently have a 20’ mt82 with a couple bolt ons. i can’t wait to see the video for the gen 3 mt82 build series. Good and very informative video as always!
My car is a 22. On headers, pmas Fenderwell intake, and e85 the car runs 10.60s on the street (cool air of course, good DA). Stock unported manifold, 3.15 gears, the car has weight reduction but no panels or carpet or seatbelt is missing, still has the subwoofer and full 401a dash and all. With a converter also. I feel like if my car was an 18-20 I would run 10.4-10.5 lol. Wish I knew the tuning limitations before buying it.
The great thing about the PMAS intake is you can grow with it. Buy the full fender well kit when you’re stock manifold and then swap the elbow for $75 when you go CJ.
when i got lund tuned I asked for drag mode and it actually made my car way smoother when driving normally and the shifts were only firm when i got on it, other wise it drives completely like stock.

And Run 11.30 123 mph without seat and using kirkey. And when i install BMR Kmember 11.18 124mph. With stock rims 275 35 19 toyo tire R888. In the Heat of Puerto Rico.
I was going to go Steeda Cai box. But since you said PMAS I’m going PMAS it’s cheaper aswell. Only thing I am not excited for is installing long tubes on a 2020 mustang gt 10r80
Gen 3 Vmp168 mono or whatever it is, hasnt failed on me, never faulted, but you do have to add about 1/2 inch plastic to the gen 2 cj mani and use some blue felpro with rtv to get it to seal perfectly. My t69 faulted probably 47 times within 4000 miles and yes i tried everything including gasket bs.
Have you done a video about what driveshafts to pick? Also looking on American muscle website pmas intake has two options which one would I get? What tuning device do you recommend?
Good video, the only thing I disagree with is shifting well above 8000. I know each car is different but we shifted at 8000 or less on our 9.76@143mph NA pass. Because of the close ratio 10R80 you can shift it sooner and average more HP doing so.
N/A F150 3rd gen build? Just intake, exhaust and Lund tune rn on 91 and she surprised a few 10 speed Camaros already in a couple days😅 crew cab too that’s what surprised them. Manifold worth it Alex? Light to light is all I care about and the stock manifold has good torque for that, she already beat most stock LT1 Camaros and Two mt82 3rd gens light to light. (1/8th mile)

Good info... I need to learn how to properly stage and launch with the auto. I started to get into a rhythm, but I'm not sure how much rpms I can load the trans with in drag mode. Unfortunately the car started to burnout, I bumped the lights and red lighted twice. This was barely at 2k so I had to practice slowly leaning on the gas, shit tires 12.212 at 117mph was my best time with a 1.98 60' The car is a 2019 PP1 on E85 Palm Beach Tune (before the break up), JLT Intake, Borla Atak Exhaust & Shit Tires.

Excellent information. I have a 2018 PP1 GT and it seems my intake cam phasers are not happy. Could this be due to them being shit from the factory or an oiling issue? I do have that stumble when just idling and not driving that you covered in one of your videos.
I bought my 19 used so not sure how previous owner did maintenance. It had the idle stumble and stall issue. I put sea foam in the oil and ran it a few hundred miles. No more idle stumble. 🤷🏼♂️.

I'm going to be painfully honest with you. The 10-speed automatic is pretty awful for road courses. Every single one of my customers that goes out there with the 10-speed Auto it overheats and a lap or two and it shifts terribly. I highly do not recommend the 10-speed if you're going to do road racing.

My Twin Jet 69 VMP throttle body has over 50k on my Gen3r in a 2011 mustang and has never missed a beat!
