  • Demonstration of how modded SkyrimVR can keep the action playing out in realtime.
Lots of mods in play, the main VR-relevant ones that are visible are www.nexusmods.... which adds the inventory and other pause-mitigation stuff and www.nexusmods.... which shows the full body IK avatar. www.nexusmods.... is also installed which lets you throw melee weapons, but doesn't get displayed in this run since this was an arcane archer build.

Cool, but the lock picking looked awkward and weird as heck.

I like the inventory management mod. Can I get that separately? I have mods that use voice to cast spells and shouts. The only issue I had with those is unwanted sounds being translated into spells or shouts. I need a button that unmutes the mic when I hold it so I can say a spell or shout. But the drawing spells system you're using seems more accurate than the ones I've tried.

It's all from www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21297 but you can disable the portions of the mod you don't want. If you've tried some other drawing system before, it's probably this same mod (I'm not aware of any others), it had the glyph drawing significantly revamped a couple months ago to improve accuracy.

That lockpicking....Why are you holding the lock in your hand. That seems weird

It was for ease of implementation reasons, there are plans to move it in front but they will come in a later version and take longer to finish.

Right? Having it your hand is weird, and it shaking like crazy makes it seem like you have a neurological disease lol

@@mike-made-a-thing I don't get it, do you seriously prefer the vanilla lockpicking? Because he already explained that taking it out of your hand is additional work that is in progress. So complaining that it isn't already done is kind of just being a dick.

@@davidm7324 Well, that escalated quickly. I understand it's for implementation purposes that it is done this way, and am not denigrating the work put into this mod. It looks awesome overall, and I can't wait to try it out.
With that said, the lock being in your hand is weird. I get that it is for implementation purposes, and am not "complaining" about it. Just sharing in OP's observation that it looks weird in your hand.
The neurological disease bit is what I imagine you've misconstrued, though. I assume you're a VR user as well... this is something that is inherent to current VR tech. It doesn't matter what game you're playing or what kit you're using, the raw tracking accuracy of the handsets combined with our bodies tendency to not actually be good at being perfectly immobile work together to make it seem like every player is a lifetime alcoholic with severe neurological damage. That is to say, your hands appear very shaky, and that makes any task requiring precision movement a little more awkward.
TLDR; Calm down. Mod is cool, and VR makes everything a little sillier.

@@mike-made-a-thing "I was just joking bro" there's literally nothing in your comment that differentiates it in any way from someone who is criticizing the mod, therefore when posted it IS just a criticism of the mod. I get that you just didn't pay attention to how you were presenting yourself, but when its pointed out you should just give it a good mature "my bad" instead of doubling down. Do you honestly think anyone, author included, would look at it and not think you are criticizing the mod? You could just put your own TL;DR in your own first comment and all of a sudden it doesn't look like you're a dick anymore.
