And beside that, the way they put the Netherlands into Scandinavia is just hilarious. Geography is the best subject. Unfortunately the US doesn't have a class just called geography.

@Why Why Why Why Joe 'Groper' Biden The Mediterrean is a Sea. It's not a geopolitical location. When we talk about Eastern Europe, we talk about Orthodox countries, which Greece is a part of.
if we talk about location in Europe, yes, Greece is South-East Europe. but Greece is indeed, Eastern Europe, no matter how you look it, since Greece is the border of Europe. It borders Anatolia, or Asia minor, which is, in fact, Asia.

That is really not too bad! I expected they do worse. Any european wouldn’t be better with a map of asia or South America
That's just not true. I don't say that an average European would get everything right on a map of South Amercia or Asia, but more than 36% would be achieved by most. And beside that, the way they put the Netherlands into Scandinavia is just hilarious. I would say it would be only a slight mistake for an American to confuse the Netherlands and Belgium, but Netherlands in Scandinavia? Compared to a map of Asia, I think Europeans would maybe confuse Cambodia and Laos, but no one would put Laos into Japan.

I can get western and Northern Europe pretty easily. I have a tougher time with the South Eastern European countries. I can get a few like Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, and North Macedonia from that region. Now to be fair I have seen Europeans struggle naming U.S. states and some Europeans struggle naming North and South America. We over here are more familiar with the two continents close to us like North and South America whereas Europeans are more familiar with Europe, Asia, and Africa because they are closer to that.
