I enjoy watching your videos after just picking up my 66 .Great content and very informative keep it up 👍
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks for the video Andy. Milton Mike.
You are very welcome
Nice simple project that will make a big difference. Nice!
Yeah, I like little projects like this. They're cheap to do and help to freshen up the car. :)
It’s so cool to see how far the editing has come! Keep ‘em comin!
Yeah, much better today than 3 years ago, but I also am still a novice at this stuff, so I need to get better. :)
so funny we are always doing the same thing to our nearly identical Mustangs at the same time. I just got my door bumper kits today, doing them on the weekend. I also have to replace the driver door latch because the clock spring inside it broke and isn't replaceable. Looking forward to all that razor-sharp sheet metal inside the door!
Those cuts the sharp door metal creates build character. :)
Quick and cheap detail like that can really make the car pop.

Just did all of these on my 67 last week. A definite must do if the originals are still on there. A 67 is a little different design. They dont have the slice in the middle of the for the window. Its all solid.

Need to get me some of those 🇺🇸🙌🚗🔧🐎
Yeah, this kind of stuff is on the cheaper side, I like these little upgrades. 😁
never mind. just saw it!
Nice. :)
I did the door rubber when I did the restore.....need to check the hood snubs....thx
Yeah, there's lots of little stuff like this that I wish I could order all at the same time to save on individual shipping. I'll have to write this down when I go to repaint the car. :)
Glass cleaner works well for lubricant
Good to know. :)
They go in easier if you use silicone spray and spread them
Probably, but sometimes you use what you got. :)
Fresh rubber is always nice. Don’t know about your car, but the hood bumps made mine a bear to close.
No issues here, but you may want to check the front hood posts, they may to adjusted too low?
Great vid! Question for you, are those rear quarter window shutters stock? I really love them and would like to something similar to mine!
Sorry Boss, I'm not sure which pieces you are referring to. If it's the louvers you are referring to, those are just stock pieces for the Fastback, the Coupe Mustangs didn't have them. They're not windows, but they are vents that can be opened from inside. If that's not it, you'll have to explain a little better what you mean. :)
@@AndyKruseChannelHi Andy, I do mean the louvers, thank you for that correction. The ones on your mustang look really good. Doing some quick googling it seems like the louver fins on the 65 were larger and wider than that on the 67 and 68 but with fewer of them.
@@ghoum56 You're probably correct about the louver size on the later years. Since the later Fastbacks were a little bit larger, they probably just scaled everything up 5% or something like that when they made the design change. If there wasn't an aftermarket solution for a slightly different louver design for the later models, it sounds like you've got yourself a new product! :)
@@AndyKruseChannelThat is good to know, thank you! I will have to track down some aftermarket 65 style louvers for my 68! The current aftermarket ones just aren't doing it for me, unless you have some recommendations?
It looks like your missing the door weatherstrip that goes around the door.
It's there. :)
