I only use Daniel Carpenter rubber, the others are too hard. Scott drake door seals are not like originals. The seal should collapse under finger pressure. Originals and Daniel Carpenter are made of open cell foam rubber with is very soft to conform to the door pillars to seal. The scott drakes are closed foam dense rubber which will never compress and seal properly and it will have leaks and wind noise. I say you will find before you go any further, get the Daniel carpenter to get past the frustration and headache.
Thank you , If it does not get easier to close I will take a look at those as an option. These are Scott drake and the rubber is very stiff, especially at the top of the door it is almost hard rubber
Wally I am thinking that over time that seal will be a bit pressure formed and will fit better, won't be as tight.
Hope so, The aftermarket door is also the problem as the dimensions are slightly off. my original passenger door is not as bad

Thank you , since I can change them while the door is mounted I will give these a chance for now. But will swap them out for DC if I am not satisfied.
I have learned also that Daniel Carpenter seals are of a softer compound than say Scott Drake seals FYIW. Drive on brother.

Some days you just want to bang your head 😟
doing it for two years, head is getting sore .. LOL
Jammer ander merk seal is misschien wel zachter
Ik zal dit een kans geven. Als het na verloop van tijd nog steeds strak is, zal ik overschakelen naar een zachtere afdichting. Bedankt
