When you are refilling, hold a straw in the funnel just enough to have one end in the jug one end out, it should reduce the bubbles or water exploding back up

Great stuff!! Love your sense of humor and I basically do this type of thing whenever I can. The water tastes just as good! also DRIVING heavy ass WATER AROUND IS AWWWWWFULLL FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
but You can save a bunch of time buying a potable water hose that attaches to the faucet threads and put the jug on the floor or a chair. Next I'm working on how to add a water filter from the store so no one can tell lol
It works with swifter refills too, after you learn to defeat the refill mechanism in the cap.... It's just soap and water, people!! Stop getting ripped off
Hi, Ryan. Thanks for commenting. I usually fill it at work with my outside sink. Customers sometimes fill a cup. No complaints. But they're probably all local anyway. You know you're home when the tap water tastes normal.
There is this helper who, despite living off the government (by choice), will ONLY drink bottled spring water. Very fancy. His scrapping truck is always loaded with cases of spring water.
One day, he asked if he could fill up his bottle with water from our dispenser. He's illiterate but recognized the logo on the jug. He's a jerk, so you can imagine my smile as he said how good the water tasted.

so you like the tast of your water you never said if your on municipal or well . some places have decent tasting water phillys actually one but other places its heavy clorene wells can be contaminated or sulfery .

I hate tap water, it's so hard water and if you drink it for months you will start to develop food allergies that's what happened to me . I like the refill idea cause it costs so much for those like over $10 for a 5 gallon. I was paying like $60 for delivery of 4 jugs per month. Dollar Tree has Crystal Spring water so Ima buy those and fill them up with that. only $1.25 for a gallon
What is so hard about tap water if you drink it for months?
@cameronbateau6510 she’s saying she has hard water in her municipal tap. High mineral count. Not necessarily a bad thing. But the fluoride was put there by those who can’t be mentioned here and that’s something to consider worry about.

People who don’t have water are in Africa. They’re received BILLIONS….TRILLIONS…and can’t do anything more than get pregnant and get AIDS. I wouldn’t feel to bad. Enjoy your tap!

We have a tank. No nipple thing. The jug sits on the rim of porcelain tank. The water stops at the mouth of jug.
Yeah tap water. I drink it all the time. It's a waste of money when you buy filters. I'm guilty of that. 20oz filter bottle. A shaker bottle with no filter. Aah, daaa.
I just add some RealSalt to the water. That seems s to kill the odd tastes in municipal water.

Salt is good electrolyte. Salt has gotten a bad rap. Really table salt is made with chemicals and striped of all it's minerals in the process. Plus aluminum for anti-caking. Yep this table salt is bad. Instead Get Redmond Real Salt made in Redmond, Utah. USA.

Prices are crazy high and I’ve noticed the stores I go to are often sold out of the lower priced ones. Everything is so expensive.
