    I made this and wanted to keep the carrots raw, but I didn't really like the idea of biting into a tough chunk, so I made some paper-thin, wide strips with a peeler. Worked out beautifully, consider it.

    if you don't want to cry when cutting an onion, don't get so romantically involved

    Raisins in a pasta dish should be made crime against humanity. Aside from that, YUM!

    The carrots and broccoli stems are raw, yet you boil the tender florets instead. Did you get confused?

    I don't Think the raw carrot is a Good idea idea otherwise it looks ok

      So much meh on this dish, I would have cooked it longer. Let the tomato release it's juices, let the carrot meld in with the other flavors. This some ponderosa type shit.

      I hear you, however - spring is associated with freshness, freshness means not cooking for a long time. That's my interpretation of it.

      He often flies by the seat f his pants . The carrots are too darn hard to eat raw. Shoulda put em in way sooner . It's not a darn salad after all. He didn't think it through imo.

    • @eugenesedita
      @eugenesedita 6 лет назад +1

      Carrot isn't a spring vegetable. It's a root vegetable associated with the fall and winter. Not a primavera vegetable.

    Why didn't you cook the carrot?

    • @FrankieCooks
      @FrankieCooks 7 лет назад +3

      you can, but I like fresh / raw where possible, especially in a primavera (which means spring)

  • @feldenkrais8404

    You mean CARAMELize? Not CARMELize. Salt in the pasta water dehydrates not flavors the pasta. You waste much of your veggies but cutting of an inch or more. Broccolini is better. Dried fruit is a horrible combination in pasta primavera. The word is FLORettes not FLOWERettes. Why ruin the recipe with cheese?
