I used to work at Bubba Gumps. All the food is literally frozen and then reheated, deep fried, or grilled. They don't make a single sauce or soup in-house.
It's a shame that there isn't any response from Julia nor Delish about this being the last season and why. So many people have subscribed and give a "like", which keep in mind is money for Delish, that I think someone should be saying something about why this is the last season! Love you Julia! I’m pitching a visit to Miller’s Ale House. Zinger Mountain Melt for life. But find a way to do the I-Drive Orlando Location! And a visit to First Watch for a more “upscale” breakfast chain.
That fish in chips looks like a great value. Four pieces, decent serving of chips/fries? In Canada where I'm at fish and chips is pretty popular but never seen a meal that came with 4 pieces.
Julia’ you need to come try Lamberts Cafe in Foley Al (they have 2 other locations but ours is less that 8 miles from the beach!) They literally throw rolls to you from across the dinning rooms! The decor is amazing and the portions insane!!

The color of the gumbo is from the roux but mainly the file powder. File seasoning has that strange greenish brown color
