Finally Alphacool made Distros. I've seen ALOT of awesome WC parts this CES. Great coverage as always!!!!!!
Thank you for the video. I cannot wait to get my hands on the monoblock and the new distros !!!
Absolutely love your videos mate
Hot damn i love the clarity of those water boards!!
Nice!!! I need to get my hands on that EVA-02 Monoblock for my mine!! Its super cool looking and can't wait for it to release!
I'll be getting that 480 dis! That will work in perfectly with my duel 480 loop! Alphacool is really stepping up with some nice cooling solutions! Thanks for the outstanding ces coverage. I bet your all having a blast in Vegas!
Dang, missed this from CES. Love Alphacool, working on a build with everything from them. The Core 1 is nice, haven't installed it yet but it's a freaking solid block of metal.
I generally have a dim view of monoblocks, but that's because the ones I've tried haven't performed very well. If the Apex breaks that trend I'd be up for it.
Really cool stuff, this is a great time for custom open loop building.
That apex monoblock on an Asrock steel legend would look amazing.
Red Eva - Perfect 😍😍😍
@2:22 I think alphacool should have their logo the same orientation for both left and right side distros because now the logo is back to front on the left side version.
I'm happy to see another watercooling company one-upping EKWB in the aesthetics department. It's too bad they are unveiling that EVA Unit 02 monoblock after the ROG EVA Unit 02 components have long since sold out. I would absolutely love to do an EVA Unit 02 Alphacool build, but those parts are just not available anymore without paying scalper prices.
yeah the scalpers are complete pieces of 💩! I hope no one buys that stuff from them and they have to sit on it.
the fact that there are eva-02 4090's going for $7k is an absolute fkn joke! I was lucky enough to get the eva-01 set under msrp. But I messed up not buying the eva-02 set from asus before it sold out - still kicking myself lol🤦♂
very industrial yet elegant lok alphacool has going on here, looks good!
Water block is crazy cool ❤
The Skeleton Case looks really cool. Cant wait to get one
Pretty compartments.
That 3x80 is perfect for a rack chassis.
Would like the case without carbon fiber for 300-400
The EVA themed mobo is gorgeous! Though it's very likely that I am not the one who can afford it... The existing one that's available on shelf featuring just the mobo w/o waterblock would cost a fortune already...
Great video, was really hoping for an updated/redesign of their 4U server chassis
I have no words to describe how amazing that Evangelion monoblock looks 😍😍
Thank you for your coverage. Still looking for a mid-tower computer case with a 5.25" front access drive bay, and a minimum of 1 USB-C port, preferably with carrying handles.
I’ve been looking for a 480mm or 420mm distro plate since I got my NV9 case. Can’t wait for these to come out!
I don't see the 420mm on their site. Were you able to find it?
@@zh4ngx I don't think they have released it yet. I thought it'd come towards the end of the year but it's looking like next year now.
I'm really liking some of the new cooling blocks from AlphaCool. Thanks for making this video.
My apologies for an off-topic question: I remember years ago you did a good number of builds using HBA's (I believe) to add additional SATA ports. I'm thinking about doing something similar (for desktop PC, not server) but all the videos on this channel I could find were rather old. I've also read some articles recently that LSI/Broadcom models have some stability issues and getting the drivers or flashing them to IT mode can be problematic. Are you still using HBA's, and if so, do you have any particular recommendations? I'm looking for a 4-port SATA expansion PCIe card to support 2.5" SSD's, so 2.4GB/s would be optimal, but lesser bandwidth would be workable. Thx.
3x80mm would be good in a 2U server chassis or SFF case
nice!! thanks 4 the peep!!
lessgo alphacool!
JUST WHEN I NEEDED A NEW AM5 WB.... if monoblock even better
God, I want that monoblock lol
Hi, im new to watercooling PCs (i saw one of your older vids) and im planning on using a Blood Red premix from EK Cryofuel.
Do I have to mix it up/water it down before use, or is it ready to go straight out of the bottle? Thanks, and sorry for the noob question!
I find water cooling parts hard to get in Aus
Any release date on the Apex 1 CPU cooler?
EK or Alphacool, which one is better in terms of longivity, reliabilty and ease of installlation?
I'd like to answer that, but I'm afraid I'm very biased in my answer 🙂
Whoat tdp on the monoblocks?
Want those fans in a matte white body with a white blade
So, no waterblock for the 7800XT Nitro?
no
btw are those stealth metal fans available already?
Yes, they are.
Did they give a release date for the Apex blocks and the 3x80 res?
Q2 2024
Alphacool deserves more love. Their products aren't really that abundant in australia
There is a company called "Ordinary Cooling Gear" out of Sydney that carrry Alphacool amongst other brands.
280 x 60 rad series 2
Could they make that case. In a white color as well..? A white skeleton 💀 would be killer 🏴☠️ ..
Seeing the Monoblock specific to the Hero Z790 is a little disappointing, considering LGA1700 is a dead platform at this point. I would like to see one for AM5, and ofc for whatever platform the Intel 15 series uses.
That insanely prices case doesn't have type C on the front IO. And they are talking about carbon fiber like it's been invented last year, and it's so expensive. People can make carbon fiber at home for years. Alphacool, why don't you lunch something you can sell and not to catching dust on shelves? I notice AC and EK are overpricing their products a lot.
pfft. liquid cooling is big gimmick - they said 14700k couldn't be cooled on air: d15 + 4x noctua 200 mm fans in a nice big case and my heater fan is louder. temps wise it idle at 33C and the most temp i've seen besides cinebench was 94C (cinebench goes to 97C, no throttle). Yes, upper limit is enforced at 253W and plate was used.
97? Yikes!!
EvangeNlion ... still the mistake there?
The cover with the spelling mistake is from Asus directly. We still had the board from the first batch with the error.
Pretty embarrassing for them to still show off their Apex 120 fans like nothing happened.
What happened? Igor releases totally flawed results by Pascal, sane people couldn't recreate, called BS on Igorslab which made Igor apologize. What does alphacool have to do with it and the fans aren't bad, I'll still go for noctua but if looks matter, the metal fans are nice...
@@jonasduell9953 If you look back at the last CES they (Alphacool) are claiming miracles from this fan saying how they were best in class and have abnormally good noise characteristics for a 3000RPM fan to run quiet like an A12x25 or something like that... The high profile hype marketing worked because it attracted big names like LTT to cover it.
Fast forward to several months ago Igor was among the first to support the rhetoric publishing a review before they were widely in the market when the truth is they're both wrong. Both outlets have tarnished the credibility of the fan lineup, if not their own brands, in my opinion.
I asked them about the rgb versions a while back on reddit. Alphacool said those are postponed indefinitely as well as the stealth ones are being reworked
After the apex metal fan's nonsense I'm not interested.
Lol
I would avoid @alphacool products. They have the worst customer support. I've been waiting over 10 weeks for repair parts on 2 new V2 GPU waterblocks (that were misdesigned by Alphacool) for my 4090 GPUs and still nothing from Alphacool support.! 💩
Sounds like user error. My V2 GPU block was flawless
@@brumby92 Alphacool acknowledged the error... many others have had the same issue on the MSI Suprim X 4090... So no it is not user error. If you have an MSI Suprim X then you likely missed the fault🤔
What kind of error did they have?
500 dollar for a case which costs max 100 in production. What a shitty overpriced case. And seriously carbon fiber on a case, just why? 😂
Why not? You don’t have to buy it. No one is forcing you. It will find its buyers, I’m eagerly waiting for it.
100 USD would not even cover the material costs. All corners and brackets are CNC machined, which costs a lot of machine time. Carbon is also not the cheapest material. And at the end of the day, there are also taxes, customs duties, transport costs, labour time, development time and, of course, you still have to earn something.
