Hey Josh, great video! I pre-ordered this game but haven’t pick it up yet. I think I’m still a little unsure. I’ve never played any Assassins Creed game, but I’ve always wanted to. I can’t wait to hear what you think after spending more time with the game! 👍
Thanks! The opening is slower, but not bad. It takes a couple of hours to get through. Honestly I think it's the reason that people think the game is the worst in the series. I've just started getting into the main game and it's so much better. I've had two missions that have been unnecessarily difficult due to poor game mechanics in the mission itself but I think that's just due to the age of the game. Check out rgt85's video on it. He had never played this assassin's Creed either and gets really in depth with the aspects of the game he likes.
Just realized that I actually ended up criticizing Assassin's Creed 3 more than talking about what I like. I am really enjoying it, I just wanted to inform you all of potential issues you might face. Anyways, enjoy!
Do you plan on checking out ac the rebel collection when it comes out Dec 06? I'm concerned that it'll be like this, it's 14gb on the eShop and the original x360 versions where 20gb for both together without the dlc.
I do plan on playing it. I don't know if I will be able to review it for a while. I started a second job and since have had little time to review games.
Confirmed. Black flag is running better on switch than 3, but the issues I was having before in this review are all virtually gone. Less pop in, audio issues are resolved, and frame rate holds way closer to that 30fps.
I am super squeamish when it comes to blood, I remembered that the Assassin's Creed for the Vita you could turn off blood so is that the case with this game as well?

I’m really interested in this game, but it’s the performance of this game which is holding me back.
I second that

If you pick it up could you just see if it performs alright, thanks.
You can't be seen when going into hiding places like the tall grass, for anyone who didn't know.
I've heard that this games performance has been massively improved with a couple of patches. Can anyone confirm this?

Yup, it looks like their is an option to remove blood in the settings.
@@SwitchMania very good! Still doesn't mean I'm going to get it but it's nice to know that the options there if I do choose to.
