It's one of the best remakes of all time 🙌🏻 Id be excited for both since I'm a Big Resident Evil fan, though I didn't care for the RE3 Remake . Hopefully if it's true it'll be good & not watered down like RE3 Remake. I prefer the old traditional gameplay myself.

That was more than a decade ago, through the few years (maybe more) after that day he often embellished his "leaks", or otherwise often came up completely false, so after years of that bullshit I never placed my trust into his leaks. After a failing to break into both RUclips/livestreaming and RPGMaker horror games (there were a few attempted kickstarters/indiegogos), my dude decided leaking was his calling, but he started with straight bs, so take that as you will.
Next to 2 Veronica is my favorite. With that being said given the direction Remakes have been going in recent years... ill stick with the OG Dreamcast version. They could shock me but not looking for it to happen.
They should focus on reviving their older IPs; like, Darkstalkers, Rival Schools, Captain Commando, Dino Crisis, etc. Also, are you going to do a live stream of SFG today?

In my top 3 game franchises. Love all of the main games (even 5). I'm glad they are doing Code Veronica and 0 rather than res 1. Code veronica is one of my best in the series, Wesker at his best in that. Not a fan of the 1st person view for the games but i did still really enjoy the 7 & 8. Res 1 & 2 = best, Veronica 2nd, res 3 = 3rd, res 4 = 4th, Res 0 = 5th, res 6 = 6th, res 5 = 7th, res 8 = 8th and res 7 = last.

RE 1 and code Veronica my favs, then all the classics, then RE 2 remake in that order are the best for me. I bought the Dreamcast in 99, but had few games. Then in 2001 PS2 was released and well..... Dream Cast didn't had too many games to fight back, soon it was over and also Xbox appeared. I prefer the original RE games than modern ones, but they are afraid of doing that because most people today want "modern combat". The traditional game design today would be niche today. I would love to have the original RE games with just updated graphics, but hard to see it happen.
There is no issue with over the shoulder, the issue is the shooter and action focus since RE4, the focus of a survival horror is item management, combining items, puzzles and managing save points, the combat is just one part and enemies need to be strong. RE 2 remake did this "alright", except for puzzles, and only if you play on hard. But it's not a camera issue, it's a game design issue.

RE 2 and 4 remakes are good, RE 1 remake was the best RE arguably with Code Veronica original. But I agree that the original system was better, but people today don't like it, they want "modern combat".
I just want CAPCOM to ensure the RE-Remakes are in the spirit of their original catelogue. If they can keep to that with NO g8 shite I'll pick em up at a discount of £25.

I am very excited to have both these games be a remake. Code Veronica does need a remake. I love code Veronica but it does need a remake.
I'm looking forward to a RE5 remake. CAPCOM did 4 justice focusing more on horror and I'm really curious what they could do with 5.
