This video is such a time capsule for me. 12 years ago I was watching this video because I wanted to learn Power Grid to play with my family. Thanks for the memories Scott.
As much as I like BGWS, I am glad you didn't keep up with this format; especially since after 18 or so minutes with the designer, you still need to have an addendum explanation afterwards. I like some of Friedemann's games, but I find he's as dull as dishwater in this interview- the only thing interesting about him is his haircolor, which seems to match his box covers far too often. If you only listen to this, it sounds like S. Baron Cohen's character Bruno is explaining it to you...

@THREADSTER12 That is the person who created the game. For a while, I was trying these designer interviews, but I haven't done that in a long time.
Love the kilt, Scott. :)
@dangeresque429 Thanks for looking!
Thanks for this video. Do you have a link to the island map download you mention in the video?
Thanks in advance.
I bought the game and I am playing it tommorow! Can't wait! Great game dude!
This game is sweet. Very clever and great design. You must balance money and resources.
I'm 3 years late, but great review!

Skirts for the win !!
@kfactor404 No, trading isn't part of this game.
That said, it is your toy, so if you and your group want to trade, go for it!
Game sounds like it is based on skills and that's great. :D
I'm looking to buy this game for christams present. Is this a good game? I'm looking for a board game which based on skill.
friedemann is awesome,you should do copycat review,possibly with him:D
Comfort.
Why would you wear clothing with a tight seam right in the area where you don't want a tight seam?
@snicholson i love your geeky style man. i think it's cool. i also think it's sexist saying that only girls wear skirts n stuff you know?
