I’ve been watching your current and old videos lately. I really enjoy them. I'm a weekend warrior detail amateur with almost a year of experience. I brought a brand new 4Runner pro last year and wanted to keep my vehicle clean and got hooked on detailing. I enjoy it. It’s therapeutic for me. I like DIY Detail and Pan channels but I also appreciate seeing how the average detail professionals use different products without sticking to just one. Keep up the great work!
As usual, Phil, watching your visuals on your videos, your techniques and listening to your narratives all end up being a master class in detailing. I never fail to learn something or appreciate something even more that you've taught me in the past 4 years. This is just awesome video. All the information you pass on that is only available if you have the experiential knowledge available and that's what you offer us. Merry Christmas
Great video. I am in agreement with you on Hydes. It is a nice to have but not a necessity. Also that Ethos wheel cleaner (the orange one) has corrosion inhibitors in it as well which may have helped. Glad to hear that Ethos coating worked out for you. It seems to be very good from my testing of it.
Nice work on the BMW!!! The Ethos Pro coating has been holding up great for me so far. I had to apply to get access to it though 🤷♂️. Not sure if that is still the case. Great info as usual!!! Thank you!
And as a comment on pre-wash, I use LABOCOSMETICA Primus 2.0 mixed eight to one in a spray bottle, then apply to the surface, let it dwell for 2 minutes, typically shade or cool metal, then rinse off. SFN by Koch Chemie is also a huge FAVORITE of mine with the same application technique (iK12 pro sprayer, I pour the rest into my foam Cannon for the main wash). They are my favorites and I would highly recommend LABOCOSMETICA Purifica after the main wash. It is simply the best safe acid wash for removing water spots that I have ever used. You can literally use it weekly on a coated car. As it is was designed for that specific purpose.
I added a schrader valve to that temu foamer and it works pretty well for the price. Been using it for brake buster. It’s not going to blow your mind but at that price it’s good value and it works decently well.
Pumping on the go isn't weird for those of us who detail on a normal business level.😜 Gotta check out that foamer from TEMU. Good stuff also from that soap for your hands being that slick and helping for decontaminating the paint with the DIY Detail synthetic decontamination towel. Not many soaps make you smile to the Next Level(pun intended) like it did to you.
Humberto I picked up that SPTA eFoamer that Cars with Keav reviewed last month. Verdict: Hell yes it’s the Real Deal and you get a free bottle of SPTA Soap. Seriously it’s excellent and I got mine off Amazon 🫡
I think I'm going to try Dr. Beasley next spring. I think I'm comfortable enough with the haze that shows up afterward. I know, right?what's the big deal. I'm just stepping out of my comfort zone. (I hear you chuckling). I'm watching for a good sale because it's expensive. Kinda. Hi wife!
I'm not sure if there's any point in using this spray because there's another side of the brake disc that's almost impossible to get to and it will generally cause uneven wear on the pads and disc. The best way is to drive forward and backward and brake at the same time, blowing air through the wheels first.
Hi. We don’t use timeless washing in our business much, but when we do it’s usually on classics like this ruclips.net/video/8DG1MUb5YAk/видео.htmlsi=-fkSIwiJN7oJlr8O
Phil I’ve got an off topic question regarding that GLORIOUS BEARD. What trimmer are you using? Two, What razors are using Dollar Shave or Harry’s. What Shaving cream? Please share with this bald headed Old man. I’m trying to get my self respect back😆😆 I too want to look like a ROBUST VIKING👀👌. Do you steam the beard with a hot towel?
Thanks man I got this trimmer. amzn.to/3ZgUbBZ I also used to be big into wet shaving, like with classic safty razors and shave creams and soaps. this company is awesome wetshavingproducts.com This is the razor i used to use amzn.to/4eXvYGv and blades. amzn.to/4gg32um
Magic Wheel Cleaner rusts my BMW rotors like crazy and then all that excessive rust ends up on the freshly cleaned gloss black wheel barrels. It's very annoying, so I've limited spraying iron remover on my wheels to twice per year and instead use tire cleaner instead

Truly appreciate your content. Thanks !
Enjoyed the conversation! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃!
Next Level makes some great stuff. That tire dressing looks great. I like the satin look. That beamer looked beautiful when you two finished.
Thanks 👍
Excellent job guys...as always..
Another great video with tips, thanks Phil
Great content and advice, my friend!

Awesome! I may do that to these.

Humberto: are you the king detailer of Puerto Rico?
@kimnewling5728 I am only the king detailer for my family and friends.😜😜😜
@@1stfrompuertorico568 lol!! Me too.

🎉
Matt over at OG used this and now he found Bilt Hamber Atom-Mac. Some good stuff.
Wearing gloves! Thank you.

You can totally do it. Just follow our tips for using it and you will be fine.
I just drive forward and drive back. Light pressure on the brakes, never had a problem

Exactly. It’s not really needed in my world.
Will you make a video about rinseless washing next week?
Hi. We don’t use timeless washing in our business much, but when we do it’s usually on classics like this

Mannn what’s the camera you using? So nice.
Hi. It’s my Canon m50 with a Sigma 16mm 1.4f lens.
Of all the ceramic coatings you have used, which one do you recommend the most?
Hi. Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light all the way.
I use a rust inhibitor on my rotors because they are vented. Rust in the vented sections is unsightly and won’t go away with use of the brakes.
Thanks for sharing.
Mr.Miranda got the beard you will notice you will no longer have to deal with trolls in the comments
🤣😎👍🏼
Phil, I forgot to ask earlier; what was the item that you used on the door handle cups? I've never seen that process before - thanks.
Hi. It was a ppf pre cut like this. amzn.to/3ZwyaAn
@@MirandaDetailing many thanks, just gained yet another job to do!
Have you tried essence ?
Hi. Oh yeah. We used to it a lot years ago. Great stuff.
Do you avoid the Calipers Phil with the Hyde’s?
Hi. Not really, I just spray liberally. It’s just a rust inhibitor and will wear off eventually.

If you want to stop flash rust bilt hamber atom-mac is what you want
Thanks. I honestly don’t need a chemical for that. Like I mentioned I just drive the vehicle back and forth a few times and it’s gone.
@@MirandaDetailingyeah that will also get rid of it but couple of sprays of that and job done😊
Things in Temu are expensive

Yeah that’s interesting, I only use iron remover when it needed. Thanks for sharing.
First!!!!
