Phil, it is always satisfying to maintain a maintained vehicle. It's when you coat one - bring it up to snuff and get it back later in trashed condition because the owner neglects it that can be discouraging. Then again... it's job security. Lol... Good vid as usual, I always learn something. Shine on you crazy diamonds! 🚘
Black truck owner here,my drying process is spot on to how you did this truck. I try my darnedest to minimize contact ,i use a 765 ego with the stubby and my coating is the cerokote v2,unless I'm applying a topper which normally I do,I don't typically have to put a drying towel on it. Good work on the truck, love the videos!
My black truck always gets washed at a place that has a blow dryer. It’s 17 years old and still looks a few years old although there is swirls so I wax twice a year and spray detailer every wash about once a week
Cool maintenance. Hey, the Ego Dryer. How much does it weigh? Does Jess use it, and does she have a problem with it being too heavy? Im using a gas leaf blower, and it's too heavy for a big vehicle. One thing ive added to towel drying. When im done using drying towel, i attach towels to some clips on my wall, and I've also attached a small fan to the wall and let the fan help me dry them. Works darn nice. Also, put Velcro stripes on a board and attached to the wall and put pads on it after washing them to dry. Works great for me. Great maintenance video. Hi wife!
Hi. Thanks. Not sure on the exact weight he, but it is pretty hefty. Jess doesn’t use it much, she likes the BLO corded drier since it’s easier to use. Great tip on the towel drying!
If I am doing a maintenance detail on a ceramic coated vehicle, my go-to products are KochChemie and P&S Frostbite for foaming, GTechniq Ceramic Wash and either GTechniq C2, P&S Defender or DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss as a drying aid.
Hi. Usually our customers with trucks don't want us to even bother with the truck beds, but sometimes tey ust want them rinsed out. So I just climb in and rinse them out.
Sweet so excited to use g techniq on my new black Mustang was wondering about my calipers they are red painted brembos what’s the safest way to deep clean without ruining the finish???

Phil, I can see why you stick with the g-Teqniq coatings. I dont know that you have done a video where the coating just didnt bounce back for you after a good wash.
What kind of leaf/"car" blower you used? Truck turned out beautiful !!! I love your channel for many reasons, but one is that you detail darker colored vehicles; Im so tired of watching white cars/trucks being detailed - I can't see anything!!
Hi! Thanks! I use the Ego Blower it the biggest one they have. But honestly the Handheld BLO plug in one is nicer, it’s lighter and it has a narrow nozzle that gets the grill and seams better.

Glad you enjoyed them! What other tips would you like to see in the future?
Paused other video to watch Phil! Excited for the C2v3. Just got a bottle in a mystery box.
Me too. :)
@@CJ_Detailing Have you tried c2v4?
No, sorry. I haven’t yet.
Ready Phil and good morning
You definitely can't go wrong with kotch chemi products. I have a ton of them. Great video phil!! 👍🏻
Totally! Thanks!
truck looks great. owner must be a huge Call of Duty fan
Paint is looking good. 10 seconds in it appears they go through a tunnel wash. You can sort of see some small horizontal lines like the brushes
I have the same type of bent wheel barrel brush from Adam’s, I love them and they are my favorite

I am impressed with Exo v5's performance!
That’s a great lineup for a maintenance wash!
Great video thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks for watching!
Hi Phil, what is your usual process for the bed of a truck when its not covered?

Hi. Just use a regular wheel cleaner or APC. Most calipers are powder coated and can be cleaned with most wheel cleaners.
What drying towel is that ?
Hi. It’s this temu.to/m/uwg1z4gfhd0
Hey brother can you link the spigot you have for those KCX 5L containers
