this car in this rare paint option + spec will be worth 2x the current values in a few years time. Ferrari's top honcho was at the F1 in Saudi a few weeks ago and he mentioned that the UK dealerships are all being instructed to buy these up from owners and used dealers ASAP as they are expecting a boom in demand once NA cars are fully phased out. I would hold it a bit longer - just to see that play out.

I love this car and wish I was in the UK, I'd buy it. I do think you may regret selling it. If I were as fortunate as you, I would sell the Portofino. That 458 will increase in value.
Liking your car collection and videos. Why not get an F12 and Lusso in one car and part ex the Lusso T for a V12 one ? Then you can daily drive the Portofino for fuel economy.

I guess as people ages they make different decisions and priorities. In fact I always like the f12 with the v12 sound (after straight piped) and the design (round tail lights and f1 style lower brakelight), but never did coz i always thought at my age (30s), i would get bored with a front engine overpowered GT cruiser very fast. I am sure i would think differently in 10-20 years. Kudos to having the lusso as the daily, but yeah it's very hard to understand picking the portofino over the 458: value wise (made in lesser numbers, last of NA, you have a special paint), maintenance wise (turbos have more issues pending similar to 488s), sound wise (no comparison) and design wise (the portofino is handsome at best, the 458 is both sexy (curves), athletic (midengine proportions) and timeless with a pininfarina stamp). The only thing that's better on the portofino is prob the infotainment, comfort and ease to drive, which are great assets for a mercedez, but arguably irrelevant on a ferrari.
The good thing is you have had fun driving it and have the memories! Look forward to your next ferrari!

I'd sell it for f12 because in my opinion a v12 ferrari is one the best performing and sounding cars out there and the build quality is very good.
