- This Barnyard millet/Kuthiravalli/sanwa/Oodal upma is full of fibre and Iron, it is good for heart health and controlling blood sugar
Ingredients
Barnyard millet 1/2 cup
Water 11/2 cups
Salt to taste
Oil 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
Urad dal 1/4 tsp
Chana dal 1/2 tsp
Dry red chilli 1
Green chillis 2
Turmeric powder a pinch
Carrot 1
capsicum 1
Ginger a small piece
Groundnuts 1 Tbsp
Curry Leaves fw
Onion 1
Grated Coconut 2 Tbsp optional
