Damn dude props on the install! Can't wait to see some boost videos! I'm doing the open flash header this weekend and going stage 2 can't wait! Staying NA for now but hopefully supercharged in the future myself!
Hey dude I saw your other videos do you know where I can get the red line for the front and back bumper ? Liked and Subbed , this might be the best brz channel I have come across !
I have a coolant leak under my inlet manifold somewhere, and I can't start my car at the min, is it possible to remove the inlet manifold without fuel going everywhere?
I'm thinking of following a similar set up to yours. What do you think about throwing in a throttle body? Looks like those manifolds can hold more air no problem since they're made to be boosted. My main concern with that is the aperture on the manifold restricting the throttle body. I'm not sure what the measurements are for it, but I know I want a 72mm throttle body. What are your thoughts on that? In my opinion it would make sense to increase air flow given the injector upgrade. Also I was looking at 1000+cc injectors to get the most out of my tune. Just curious; Why did you choose the 700cc injectors?
Hey you said something about the ground being the bottom bolt? I put mine on the were I had the same issue. also can you use the stock injectors with new manifold or do you have to buy the new ones?
Hi, Just curious, do you remember if you took out the thicker bottom injector o-ring on the intake manifold side before you put your Deatschwerks injectors in?
I completely swapped the manifold from the plastic to the aluminum so I don't remember seeing any o rings in the new manifold. Just the ones that came with the new injectors
The alu intake manifold has slightly better air flow and is why the 2017 update has an extra 5hp. You won't notice 5hp, especially if you tune the car. IMO it's not worth the money really. An exhaust manifold upgrade (remove the 1st cat) and a tune is about as good as it gets without going FI. Anything further is just cosmetic or really expensive for a handful of HP more.
@@NickGT thanks. Awesome mahn. Question, this is not necessary if I just want to replace my intake manifold to this new aluminium right? I just need the gasket and screws for it?
I took mine by hand without a tool, i dont know why u complicated the strip so much... If you had disconected every cable and hose as u should you could have taken down everything and then remove the stuf that its screwed in the oem manifold, then screw them on the new one then just reconect all cables. It took my 5 min to strip the whole manifold out and everything from the injectors to fule rails conectors.... And about the same to put it back on
Great job, very comprehensive!

This is a good video to watch even if you are just swapping to the aluminum manifold..
cool video mane
Like the brz. Did you install a throttle body? What supercharger do you have, or plan on having? How much is your brz
Oh wow. I didn't realize they re did the intake manifold for the 2017. That's awesome. Is it for the 86 as well or just the BRZ?

nickgt350R Keep up the good work man , I hope you blow up one day !
nickgt350R I meant your channel LOL

Hay did u get any lean codes after u installed the new intake manifold?
Did you clamp those evap hoses under the manifold? They come unclamped from the factory and they pop off with 10psi or more.
I would recommend clamping them regardless. They are very well known for coming off.
nickgt350R well you should still clamp them. Your car is no different from others. If you plan on going above 10psi, they'll more than likely pop off.
im running 10psi and my hoses underneath the intake popped off, im in the process of removing the manifold so i can clamp them.
Can you put a link for intake and fuel rails
I already have a 2017 model so is it safe to assume it will be easier? I'm doing all the pre-boost mods like you're doing.

MOAR VIDEOS!

Oh ok that explains why I had to put the stock manifold on. I was freaking out. mine had had so many codes and would shut off if I hit the gas
That's for responding. Good luck with the build. I'm getting a supercharger next

@@NickGT Oh yeah. That's right. Thanks for the quick reply!
@@NickGT did you need a tune after switching manifolds

Where is the fuel pressure regulator?
Hey Nick. Did you get a tune after this?
Yes I did

are you still using the dw700? how are they holding up? thanks
thanks man, that's what moto east recommended. still havent installed my turbo but getting my parts together. i'll do remote tune from them
what brand injector and the monifold sir,do you have the link for pre order
The injectors are deatschwerks and the manifold can be bought without a pre-order its on alot of aftermarket websites for brz/86 and 15+ wrx
Do you have to remove the fuel rails to remove the intake manifold?
Hi, do you have the link to the Velox Fuel Rails? Thanks

What's the part you are holding at 6:53
nickgt350R did a full blown turbo replacement with a base tune flash.. and it's now making a clicking noice.
