I got to say a missed a few I knew. Honestly while you do play them perfectly, the fact that it's a piano can make some of them feel very different from the original.

Some of them I got. Mostly the Mario and Zelda ones and surprisingly animal crossing. Didn’t get Metroid, fire emblem, Kirby, or f-zero
Not too hard, not too easy. Exactly how I like it. I mostly got the mario ones (especially the mario galaxy and 64 I recognized instantly) correctly but I couldn’t get driftveil city wrong even if I tried😂 got

Yes same! Especially glad to see a track from Echoes here, I love that game’s soundtrack but it doesn’t get as much recognition as Awakening & Three Houses
@@firebird6000 the game as a whole doesn’t get the recognition it deserves actually scratch that the whole franchise doesn’t get the recognition it deserves especially with the last few games being absolute masterpieces (minus fates)

Of all of these, I got 4. Bomb-Omb Battlefield, Paper Mario, Big Blue, and 3DS Rainbow Road. I really only play the Mario Games, hence how I got the Mario ones and then the one from Mario Kart.

Which is a tragedy because that game is phenomenal. I still wish they kept that direction for future Kirby installments because it had everything imo; great bosses, fun level design, multiplayer that is actually enjoyable, great Metroidvania style world design, collectables that are fun to use (I always loved the spraypaints), and so much more

Driftveil
18/25 (though I counted the guessing the franchise, game, and name of the piece as each a third of a point, so it's a bit skewed in my favor), so overall pretty good, I'd say. Plus having over 1100 hours in Splatoon 2 has paid off, I guess, since I was able to tell that the Now Or Never was specifically Wet Floor's cover of it (and not Off the Hook's cover, the Squid Sisters's cover [though both Splatfest versions would be pretty easy to identify] or the original by Squid Squad).

Main reason I miss a lot of em is that I havent played a ton of Nintendos different series so a lot of music can sound similar to the ones I have played lol
Got all the ones from games I played and was able to guess the franchise of most of the rest. Kirby and Pokémon have fairly distinctive theme styles that I could recognize even if I couldnt care less what specific game they came from. Also recognized animal crossing ones mostly because of smash. Only one that tripped me up was rainbow road from MK7. the one version of the game I never ended up playing. It was just different enough from the rest that I couldnt pick it out of a piano variant.
Coming in here to correct the name of one of them. Number 12 specifically. The actual name of it is Theme of Samus Aran or Samus Arans theme.

I appreciate these kinds of videos that engage with the viewers, but I've got to be honest, not sure why hearing these songs on piano is supposed to be more challenging? I mean, the clips are long enough to where you either know the songs or you don't.
Anyway, I knew about a third of them and will gladly watch any more of these you make.

3. I guess I haven't played as many nintendo games as I thought.
12/25 but only if you forgive me for not knowing that the first world of kirby's epic yarn was called "flower fields" and not knowing that that last animal crossing song was specifically from new horizons, 14/25 if you count me only knowing that they were fire emblem songs but having no idea which game or which title since ive never played fire emblem
I didnt realize any if the kirby sings were kirby songs, and the mystery dungeon one I didn't know at all. The rest of the pokemon themes I recognized them as pokemon themes but couldn't pinpoint the exact theme or the game. The rest if the songs however, I knew the game and even where/when the theme plays. Minus Id from fe awakening where I thought for some reason it was a 3h song. I sure as heck didn't get the shadows of valentia end credits theme wrong though! And the one I recognized instantaneously was now or never because splatoon is my jam.

Id Purpose from Fire Emblem Awakening sounded off. I listen to the Awakening album every single night and didn't recognize it and it's one of the first few songs played so I hear it every night.
