    It's almost tempting to imagine what would happen if the chains broke, at the very top, at full speed. Which state would they find most of your remains in?

    3 feet is only 3 feet but taller is taller.

    I think they are, heard somewhere that they are just like 2 or 3 feet taller, but I'm sure it doesn't matter, you still get the same experience. They should have just said in the U.S.

    Yes, Six Flags does have limited control over things like speed of rotation and height control over its rides. The mechanics can alter the way the ride works within limits. The mechanics did the same thing for Warp 10 (Troika by generic name) at Astroworld by reversing the rotation of the arm-wheels in relation to the whole ride. This resulted in a more exhilarating ride and more people getting sick. It didn't stay that way for long. I formerly worked rides at Astroworld / Six Flags.

    Texasban megnyitotta kapuit a Six Flgs Over Texas vidámparkban a világ legmagasabb körhintája, a Texas SkyScreamer. A szerkezet 400 méter magasra emeli utasait és a maximum 24 főt forgató óriáskerék egy 124 méteres sugarú körben és 56 km/órás sebességgel repíti őket.

    Interesting. They are from the same manufacturer too. Funtimes probably sold the same model to both parks claiming that it was a world record to both.
    Since they are the same model, they both have the world record model. Although the Eclipes was opened first, so it is the true winner.

    You guys need to understand that this ride was meant to be able to see all of six flags. There used to be something similar to it, but changed it. It was pretty old, about 50 years old. It wasn't meant to be a coaster

    Sky Screamer spins faster, allowing the seats to be raised higher when swinging, thus making you swing higher.

    It appears from the video that it just goes to the top and come right back down. You'd think they'd at least give you 1 or 2 revolutions at the very top before coming back down. But then I guess since its news they need to keep it short and sweet to keep people moving through. Maybe after the newness of this dies down theyll make the ride a longer duration.

  • @abigguitar
    @abigguitar 11 лет назад

    Someone sold Six Flags a bill-o-goods. A ride salesman always wants to make a new ride appear like it's something 'bigger' or 'better' or 'a world record'. It's not that this ride isn't great, but it is just swings. 400-feet-in-the-air-swings, but still swings. Other than custom built coasters, Six Flags usually chooses not to buy flat rides that haven't been thoroughly tested prior to introduction and thus Six Flags is rarely first to debut rides of this type in their parks.
