Unfortunately we all get old but we're blessed that we can watch shows like Magnum when the actors were in their prime.

Great interview with Larry. I was sorry to find out that he suffered a stroke that left him in wheelchair and slowed down his speech. God Speed his full recovery as He did for me when I had one myself.

I miss that show. Back in the 80s growing up I wanted to move to Hawaii and become a P.I.

The fact that Magnum is still so beloved to this day is a testament to that iconic cast and the amazing stories and writing. A great series that is imo one of the best detective shows ever made along with The Rockford Files and Spenser For Hire.

This is a brilliant conversation. Mr Manetti is a TV great. Craig Bennett handled this with such warmth and empathy, asking all the right questions and keeping the interview rolling nicely along. His research is most impressive. Thanks for another entertaining interview with the stars we loved growing up with.

Some great history! Wow 42 married years too. Hubs and I started watching Magnum PI in early 00’s buying all the DVD’s. I had seen it when I was younger, but never watched much when it was actually on TV. So,much fun! Loved the interview. Another book to look for! Actually I need to ask husband I think he might have it in his library. Thank you!

Another brilliant interview. Craig Bennett is the very best at this. Mr Larry Manetti has had one heck of a career. I’m about to hunt up his book. Please keep these great interviews with true legends coming. Connie Stevens would be great. How about Luke Halpin from Flipper? June Lockhart from Lassie/Lost In Space?
