That's what I always said. You can't really compare the two because they each have their own unique style. Bone is more harmonious, while Crucial has a more urban, rugged/rustic, southern style. They're both good in their ways.
@@unnamed715 definitely a difference but CC would harmonize on certain songs when they would sing the hook...that song "hay" acapella is a perfect example.... But i would luv to see BTNH n CC n Do or Die n twista do a whole album together...it would be mid west madness if they did that...
Here's the thing, y'all have to go back to '94. NOBODY rapped like BTNH, not even close. Snoop was in his prime, the G funk era, WU-Tang, etc.. That's why when CC first dropped everyone was like "Whoa, there's another group that sounds like Bone". Do or Die too. CC even said in the intro of their album that BTNH came out with this "new style". For those saying they're more raw than BTNH, "Creepin' on ah Come Up" was raw as fuck. It wasn't until E1999 when they emphasized on the harmony. If not for Bone Thugs n Harmony there would be no Crucial Conflict. And before anyone calls me a fanboy, I own "The Final Tic".
lol at you bone loving haters. All three of Crucial Conflicts album releases were absolute instant classics. Absolutely above and beyond mediocrity and closer to genius perfection. They blended real street life with careful consideration of not being to belligerent, with fantastic beats and precise intentions of emotion and reflection for each individual song. They truly understood how to make art out of music by engaging the listener and bringing them into a rabbit hole of real street life, yet With a upbeat feeling overall, rather than just all blood guts and despair. True artistic geniuses of our time. Many know this already but for the vast population that only knows bone and not CC, It is truly a shame and goes to show that Crucial Conflict is definitely one of the most underrated music groups of our era and maybe go down as one of the most underrated music groups ever. That's true that Crucial Conflict wasn't trying to imitate Bone. Their styles were different. But in Bone's defense, when they came out there was NOBODY out that rapped like that. Twista came out before Bone, but was so off the radar, you had to be a diehard fan of underground rap to have known who he was. Bone came out, dropped an EP and a debut album, BLEW UP. By 1996 when they were super hot, Do or Die comes out which resurfaced Twista, and then Crucial Conflict comes out. CC and DoD didn't HARMONIZE like Bone but they added a little taste of sing-songy elements in their hooks. In Bone's eyes, it may have looked like now EVERYBODY wanna come out and cash in on their style. But they all squashed the beef, and I'm sad that all 4 acts had a concert together in Chicago a few years back and I missed it.
Somebody should call BONE and tell em about how Eazy lifted Freestyle Fellowship's entire style and applied it to BONE after mixing in a little hard rap
@@neilpatrickhairless LMAO where did you pull this bullshit from? You MUST be young. Because ANYBODY with common sense knows that Bone was rapping like that BEFORE they met Eazy.
