To many doing music, all they think about is a catchy rhythm, and a few bars are all you need to make a hit. The beauty of music (art in general) is that it lacks a statute of limitation. It can speak to many and even generations later, one can still go back and listen to it. Otherwise no one alive could claim a right to listen to Beethoven. Instead of putting down the younger generations for not being alive when these works of art we’re being created, how about we encourage them to listen to them without being patronising?
