Well 4 years later, here is part 2. This part is edited more simple then the first part and are longer. I cried so many times while making this because everything is so sad. I love Anne so much. It breaks my heart. I hope you like this one as much as the first one! This part starts were the first part ended, when Henry start to hate Anne and ends when he was done with her.. (S02E03-S2E10)

right! especially because the deciding factor for whether the baby it's going to be a boy or not comes from the father!
We are still mourning her after all these centuries. Awfully bold of them to cast that guy for Henry lol. Could not have been further from what he looked like.
King Henry VIII actually was handsome in his youth. He just started putting on weight like crazy after his accident and it made him nasty too.

Unlike, most, I feel no sympathy for Anne Boleyn, Her fatal mistake, thinking no one would do to her what she did to Katherine of Aragon. Also, by the laws of the day, their marriage was never legal because to have carnal knowledge of a sibling then sleeping with said sibling was considered incest at the time.
Catherine's death sealed Anne's fate. He could then remarry. He could just get rid of her.
You should feel sympathy for her. And when did they commit incest when they were married?

I am not sure if her execution was what Henry wanted, again unlike most I don’t view him as a king out for the heads of his wives since he divorced Katherine and Anne of Cleeves plus the two wives that were executed had been found guilty of adultery, but Katherine’s death made a divorce only a matter of time since he would no longer be expected to return to Katherine or be seen as validating his first marriage in any way, he had a lot at stake politically in regards to ending the marriage to Anne Boleyn which was solved by the death of Katherine of Aragon.
It bothers me that she’s been turned into so much of innocent victim, a martyr, and Saint who is so focused on whilst Katherine of Aragon as an individual and her marriage to Henry VIII is overlooked. Katherine of Aragon is the true Queen of England.

@@Katfancy40 No, as usually happens, most people view history only through the lens of modern day societal rules, laws, and values which means they judge most people in history by today's standards without considering context of times.
Most of the argument for Anne's innocence is a lack of proof of her guilt or there’s an argument that there’s no evidence that is still around for us to analyze but again, it’s proof & evidence according to our standards and ignore historical context that according to values, rules, and laws of Tudor times... his marriage to Anne was never legal because of his prior affair with her sister so his relationship with Anne was incestuous and even if she had been accused/convicted of any crimes, the marriage was not legal so Elizabeth was not a legitimate heir in the same way Henry declared his marriage to Katherine invalid and their daughter a bastard because she was married to his brother.
Although, that’s what made the papal dispensation so important and according to all available information, that marriage was never consummated so that means the societal view of the times being that carnal knowledge of one sibling makes carnal knowledge of another incest wouldn’t apply to the sexual relationship between Katherine and Henry.
Also, the other misunderstanding of accusations against Anne Boleyn is that one for treason for plotting the king's death was treason but again, it’s not viewed with historical context that to be guilty of that all one had to do was simply speak of the King’s death. This is because Tudor Society believed in superstitions and witchcraft so speaking of such things was believed to be wishing death on him.
I don’t know what, if anything, Anne Boleyn was guilty of but I do think she believed herself invulnerable to the very thing she did to Katherine and made it possible for mistresses to desire being Queen instead of staying a mistress which was her first mistake, her second was to think herself in a position that needed no allies and turned her most powerful allies into enemies, and third, she didn’t see that Katherine’s death made her position as Queen more insecure than ever.
However, I don’t think she had fear of death until her power struggle with Cromwell and until the accusations got to Henry, I think only divorce was on his mind and that’s why I don’t view him as a husband/king executing wives he no longer wanted rather a husband/king who believed his wives cheated on him which was a crime punishable by death.
I wonder what have had happen to Jame, if she had also bear a girl..

Она рассорила Генриха с Томасом Мором, послужила причиной перехода Англии от католицизма к англиканству и к ряду других непопулярных реформ, плела интриги, чтобы укрепиться на троне самой и привести во дворец свою семью. Она по сути жестоко поплатилась за то, как поступила с Екатериной, предыдущей женой Генриха.

@@Elly3981 absolutely agree. As much as I am sorry for her dying so young and being convinced of what she wasn't guilty of, I still cannot but accept she got what she did to poor Catherine. It just all came back to her.
