Are the inlays real inlays or painted on...??? I've seen/heard in an other video review that they're painted on... Definitely not a deal breaker but would like to know before buying... 🤘🏿🎸🤘🏿

It definitely does have a truss rod, no idea what that guy is talking about. Martin doesn’t make a guitar with no truss rod

      @@gregaustill5646 great debate bro!

@A Man I have 3 x series and every single one has a truss rod, plus the body movement has nothing to do with the truss rod in the neck and the definitely can still warp.

@A Man agree to disagree I guess. I have messaged Martin to get the facts. If you are right I’ll give you credit...

Sounds like plastic to me. No solid wood to be found on this guitar. Waste of money.

I can assure you this guitar does not sound plastic and sounds incredible when played. Best guitar besides my Taylor’s I’ve owned.

      @@blackstargallagher1997 Ok...
I've played it too. And it sounds like plastic to me, compared to my Maton, Larrivee, Taylor, Martin, ...

The one I bought and played def doesn’t sound plastic. Put it this way if I could afford to buy a cash D35 I would. D28 and D35 are on my wish list. Martin make some of the best acoustic guitars in the world. I don’t know such thing as a bad Martin guitar.

@@blackstargallagher1997 Really? How about the Ed Sheeran signature? Absolute crap guitar.
I've tried dozens of Martin guitars, owned a few of them, and some of them are crap. Remember that Martin overprice their guitars. The whole HPL marketing is designed to make cheaper guitars but price them way too high.
Even Sigma guitars (part of Martin), are priced too high these days.
There are better and cheaper alternatives on the market, all solid, with great craftmanship. Larrivee is one of them. Sure, Larrivee starts at a higher tier than Martin (around 1000 dollars) , but you get what you pay for: all solid wood acoustics, great craftmanship, attention to detail, and a freaking case. Martin has guitars in that tier that are HPL, stratabond neck, gigbag.

colaboytje now I 100% agree with you on Ed Sheeran Martin signature awful guitar also Lowden Sheeran models I’ve heard so far are awful. But I’m only speaking from personal experience he guitars I’ve played besides the Martin Ed Sheeran models have all sounded fantastic to me. As they say you have to try a guitar before you by and I know people from experience have had there heart set on a particular model guitar only to go and play it and it sounds shite. The. Gone to another retailer and the same guitar has sounded way better, so I think,it’s all down to each guitar you try before you buy. I don’t much about Larrivee guitars and I’ve never played a sigma sorry. I do agree that they do overprice there guitars but not every guitar you try may be shit it’s all down to how that guitar came out of the factory I believe.
