Lmao, like a year ago, you asked us what new business you should start and I suggested an ATM business. You told me you had no interest in doing ATMs, now you do. Lol glad you see the appeal of ATMs, I look forward to seeing ATM videos if you decide to go through with that business. Love your videos, keep it up.
ATM's are being taken out of places in Australia. This is because most people use contactless pay systems. It may be ok in a laundromat but there are less and less ATM's available on the street. We can also withdraw money (No fees) from the major supermarkets.
The guy who buy the pop soda I've seen this situation before with other people it's mainly they don't like to deal with people and many suffer from phobias so they'll buy from machine's and love to deal with machine's a second on you try to ask them they leave and never come back so leave him alone he was just sticking his soda provisions.
I'm surprised these machines don't all dump into single collection area. I'm sure there are some like that, but every one needing a key is just bonkers to me.
Hey, man! Really love your channel, a lot of useful information here. Thank you! Could you suggest where to buy the staff (soda, snacks) for vending machines in Saskatchewan, Canada?
You definitely need a changer that accepts credit cards and you can put in large bills and the difference of the washer or dryer cost and the cash to disperse in change.
This is not true but this just a theory that guy probably didn’t have change to buy the cans and just exchanged 20 dollars or 50 dollars into quarters for the exact amount
The constant bumbling with the coin counter setup is frustrating from a viewer standpoint. Is it hard to spend about an hour setting it up so you don't continue to spill coins. Efficiency is value.
Are you going to have a TV installed in your laundromat that runs paid ads? All it would take is screen mirroring from a little tablet or old phone in the office on repeat.
Apple pay and Google pay are the next big thing. If you could figure out how allow people to pay electronically, you would not have a deal with as much cash and collect and refill change as often greatly simplifying your job. They make electronic payment retrofit kits for vending machines and you could start with a few washers and dryers that take electronic payments as well. Some vending machines with electronic payment capability will report back their daily sales counts of each item so that you can keep track of when you need to refill by computer and not have to physically check the machine all the time.
Atm machines are a great hussle. Gotta charge that fee to cover the internet for them, My buddy charges $3 transaction fee on them. But they are great to set up by bars
@@Flippinginthecarolinas sorry my phone must have glitched or something I didn't mean to reply to your comment 🤣 thank you tho. I was trying to ask if investment joy always collects his money or had someone do it
Do you have any tips for a 17 year old trying to get into the vending machine business? Also, do you think people will take me serious if I’m coming to them with a proposal to put my machine at their location?
I am stealing the phrase "automatically" that is dynamite! Also, why do you not have fabric softener or other laundering supplies in the vending machines?
Single use bottles, even if you have to buy a gallon of fabric softener and 100 Oz single bottles. Your looking at 500-1000% mark up. Plus customers will bin the oz bottles in store. Recycle reuse rinse (pun intended) repeat
CC allow for impulse buying. The amount you will make from impulse buys will exceed the amount you will be charged by the CC company. The reason why restaurants started accepting CC is because people bought more extras, like cheese bacon bigger size meal, etc. Also new laws allow you to charge extra if people use CC.
@@jon2279 Most of the time you don't see the difference in price because the store just charges the higher price to everyone, cash or CC, and pockets the difference on the cash sales. where you most often see the difference in prices is in gas stations where they will charge a few cents less if you pay cash.
You really don't have to shoot new material every time you empty those washers. Just make 100 different takes of it and cut it together for different videos 😅
I hope you do well with the atm business. My personal experience wasn’t too well, although I believe it is an extremely passive business after getting a location and having a loader it wasn’t for me. My atm has been damage due to people trying to steal them!
Do they make a contactless card reader that you can slap onto the washers and dryers and someone can just make the payment directly to the machine? Maybe it's expensive but it sounds like you're on the threshold of hiring a person to handle quarters for you which would also cost.
They make washers with those you couldn't just slap one on. Its got to be one that's built to do it problem is they're more expensive and they have to be maintained more and they have to have an internet connection and the cc companies charge a fee to
I would buy from a candy wholesaler or a cash and carry with some discounts. The soda might be cheaper. You can stock it up inside. I grew up with glass bottle pop machines! then Cans. My friend just had his whole atm stom from a car wash. It was an outside unit. Your pop is cheaper than speedway! Good luck.
the arcade machine I would have it free. cuz then what that does is it pulls in the people in your laundry area and those people are going to get hungry and then those people would buy food instead of feeding the machine. anyways the arcade thing is going to be on anyways so it doesn't matter
Hey there! I’m curious to know is there a service to hire to have someone collect your coins and cash to take straight to the bank? Let’s say if you were on vacation (cruise out of country) and was not able to change it out?
