These are some really nice rigs. They have come a long way. You have really "murdered out" your studio. Ha Ha. It is great. I like that sound absorbing black material. All very professional.
Does anyone not like to see Shaun happy or giggling like a kid? Like when he mentioned he uses the shifter mount for his mouse and pad, or that the rig comes with tools? It’s the simple things. SC and The Simpit are the best, as always. Peace brother!
Best thing about this F-GT rig, is the Simagic pedals you put on it Shaun Excitement over the toolkit made me laugh, was the same with the Gt-Neo for me, when i saw their carbon tweezers and how precise they were at the tip i was like NICE! then i got to the wheel haha
I have the regular elite version and don't really see any need for this 160 version it's a bit overkill makes one wonder if it's less flex than in real car lol. My only complaints are the additional keyboard mount tray is kinda weak/wobbly and the plastic end caps that you plug in on ends some of them are warped.
I just don’t understand the popularity of these 40160 profile rigs. They are so crazily overbuilt. 4080 is plenty strong enough. If there is flex in a 4080 profile rig it’s down to poor design, bad corner brackets or weak pedal decks and/or wheelbase mounts. The flex is never in the aluminum extrusions themselves. Top end wheelbase mounts and pedal decks can be purchased separately and keep the price way lower than these 40160 rigs.
Lol same, I have a 4040 rig that i build myself 6 years ago and it is even split in the middle to adjust and it is so strong. I think the 40160 is just to make it look more expensive.
@@Bambeakz exactly! Even 4040 is enough if it’s well designed. Using 40160 is just needlessly expensive, heavy and excessive. It’s also a killer if you currently have or plan on having motion at some point. The actuators will have to work so much harder to lift the weight and reduce their responsiveness and speed. My 4080 rig weighs in at around 250lb(120kg) as it is. I can’t imagine how much more it would weigh if it was 40160.
@@alecmillea4539I’m curious as to how you have yours built, as I have the Scuderia Ferrari version of this rig, and it weighs in at around 125 lbs. By no means is it light, but it’s half your weight. As to why I bought it. Well, I have a Dell account, and they are carrying the NLR rigs, so I was able to finance it and get it for a few cheap monthly payments versus 1 lump sum. However, it’s still quite nice and solid as hell.
You guys in the first world are spoiled by these great products. Yes, 40160 is overkill but at least you got that option. I had to reach out to 4 CNC shops to order custom made wheel and pedal plates since companies here do not sell them and wanna charge 3k USD for overly designed cockpits that are fucking huge. It feels good to have designed a 4040/4080 rig and it turning out good enough tho
I want the ers3 elite seat but companies in 2024 don’t know how to actually make shit. Out of stock everywhere meanwhile there aren’t that many people buying seats 😂 just pathetic you come out with a budget seat and have no stock but every review channel has one! Shit marketing buy companies let’s have people review our items but have no stock or no date of back in stock let alone no preorder
Disappointing for us also that we are out of stock. To be honest the demand for the ERS3 seat was larger than we anticipated. The good news is we have increased our production and once it's back in stock next month it will stay in stock. So sorry for the inconvenience, it sucks to be out of stock for us also!
When will simracing content creators understand you can't give a honest review when you get the hardware for free?. Just another commercial with a balt model :p
Every 40160 chassis is overkill so the first design mistake is not going for 4080 max (I have a 4040 motion rig so yeah). It is all about the connections.
Thankyou for your feedback. Could you please share insights on what makes this the worst designed as we are confident that not only is ours better finish but much more features and adjustments than any competing cockpit. This includes higher level of instructions, no corner brackets and direct bolt connection for strength and easy of assembly, multiple racing positions in one cockpit, laser etched markings for adjustments, thicker and stronger wheel plates & connections, premium packaging to ensure nothing is received scratched or damaged, custom height adjustable vibration absorving feet, unique feature of height and angle adjustment with bottom mounting reclining seats etc. The list goes on and in terms of strength, our stronger and thicker brackets and connections combined with our design of the pedal assembly locking in with the wheel uprights it makes it the strongest profile cockpit on the market.

Do a ASR 6 review.

lol definitely huge and ugly. Can just imagine how much it weighs let alone when you put gear on it

We have never and will never ask a content creator to give anything but an honest review!
Great review Shaun as usual I just wish to test the flex you drive with the strongest DD you own and tune it to the max :)
This is a great content idea! The F-GT Elite 160 would survive!
Worst designed 40160 chassis there is. Simlab, trakracer etc are much better designed.

@@NextLevelRacingNLR bringing the heat and defending its work. Nicely done. Seriously, the rig looks solid as all get out.
