Safety is important. I think they should put the attendant at the top of the steps or at least next to the spot where they park the car. Other than that the camera is cool and it's awesome they're paying homage to the flitzer
While I really liked the look of the ride with the other parts, and thought it looked more like the tram car, ultimately the safety of riders is the most important thing. I'll ride it no matter what it looks like. Thanks for the update.
While I like the way the roller coaster train cars looked before the changes I understand if they had to change it for safety reasons or to pass inspection. I’ve been on paper it looks like everything’s good design. I’m guessing it just wasn’t practical. I hope they keep the attendant somewhere on the ride or at least in the ride station. I do like the throwback to the Filtzer.
It seems totally fine without the attendant and front awning section though it would be cool if they found a way to implement them none the less. I feel like it wouldn't be too hard a challenge if they just molded it as part of the car in fiberglass but who knows, it could be an aerodynamic thing for all we know or as you said, safety. I really like the presence of The Runaway Tram overall. I wasn't sure at first with those supports for the track everywhere but i feel like they did a good job making it feel like it belongs and It looks really nice. Can't wait to see it in person! Thanks for the update as always! @Wildwood Video Archive This channel is great! I loved the last video 360 tour! Good stuff! :D
Well I guess with any project plans on paper don't always mirror the outcome of the finished item. Hopefully these last few safety concerns where what was holding back the opening. Now maybe we will now be able to experience the complete and finished Runaway Tram Car! Let us hope ( with bated breath)!
Don't like the changes...hopefully, they'll come up with acceptable replacements.. losing the attendant on the back of tram is bad enough, losing the roof on the front makes it look more like a ordinary coaster with a tram resemblance. It's too bad the inaugural season of this ride will be a few weeks at best.
i think they should put the attendant somewhere within the ride, even though he might be in a weird position i mean just him standing there would be cool lol. anyway i love the flitzer homage so much 😭
I understand safety is a priority and I have no problem with that but you would think Moreys piers would have known this ride wouldn't be ready for July 2nd and maybe not this summer but yet they advertised it as the opening date. They've been in business for 50 years now and it's not there 1st roller coaster. We were down on the 2nd and my little guy was upset.
I liked it they way it looked before. It gave it a “wow factor”. But as many said, it seems that the canopy and ride attendant made the ride too heavy when running it. I would like to think they would still use at least the ride attendant somewhere else as part of the design.
I thought the train design was disappointing from the beginning seeing big black tires on every car, the real thing has that iconic gliding look with all the tires covered. Now it lost gig on the back and the blue roof in the front... this thing is unrecognizable.
Well...now I’m disappointed cuz it doesn’t even resemble a Tram Car. Is the purpose of Wildwood to be Doo Wop with new touch. Well I’ll ride it anyway thanks for the quick update and the Flitzer is a nice touch.

We will be in Wildwood next week. Would of thought by now it would be open.
THE GERM I was hoping it would be open mid July when I went, hopefully its open for you

Always SAFETY first---we're here for excitement not accidents !!

Look! Another 2020 coaster with it's pal West Coast Racers

The music is lit

The Flitzer things are cool, along with the camera. It looks more like a coaster, but safety is formost. I'll still go one!
Morey's Piers & Beachfront Water Parks facebook just posted the ride is officially open!
hope fully its open in 12 days cause thats when i go to wildwood
I’m also going then and my family loved the glitzed so if the tram isn’t open we will be very upset
When will it open?? I’m in Wildwood right now on vacation and I leave on Saturday
I'd be shocked if it opens this season.

I was driving around town and I saw the attendant (the person on the back of the ride) on a car
Is it even gonna open this season?
I really hope
if there taking stuff off the train there was major issues in testing explains why it never opened when i was susppoed too
I watched them put the old roller coaster cars in i wondered what they where for but i realized what they where from

It would be nice if they bring back the train they turn it into the original runaway tram train instead of a regular train

They were testing a lot on the ride 8/3/19
I liked the tram better before but safty is always first
maybe they took the roof off because maybe the passengers won't hit their hands on the roof
It was to heavy that way they took it off and fail inspection for safety
