Edit 2: Nvm I figure out what went wrong. Do you know why my Viewport Shading (Material Preview) is so different from my Viewport Shading (Rendered Preview)? When my Viewport Shading (Material Preview) is selected it looks like your Viewport Shading (Rendered Preview). On the other hand my Rendered Preview look like this grey donut. I think this might be why when I bake the slashes. The images look wrong. For example, the images is all grey when baked at frame 12. Could you help me figure out how to fix this? edit: I figured out that the cause for the Rendered Preview and Material Preview to look different is due to changing the Render Engine from EEVEE to Cycles. How do I make my Cycles render look like the EEVEE render so that I can bake?
Hard to answer. But if you are creating a complex game, it is important to modulize your scripts. Reason being is because there is probably a lot of code you would re use in many areas. I guess another thing to understand how to implement code is to understand what workspace, replicated storage, replicated first, server storage, server script service, and etc all do. You can search it up, but it's important to understand it to know where you wanna add ur scripts. EX: replicated storage where u usually put ur vfx models or whatever mesh where you will replicate on client and server,. If I am able to make part 4 for this tutorial, I will kinda show how I organize my scripts and everything.
"If you change the transparency by a really tiny amount, like 0.02, this all disappears." *Changes transparency to 0.02* *Black background remains, but becomes very, very, very slightly transparent* *Puts head on desk and calls it a day*
So a bunch of people had the same problem. Seems like they don’t have the updated blender version. I have mine at 3.0. Someone had the same problem and told me they solved this issue by updating blender
@@red_ice4912 Interesting, because after I pointed this out, no one really asked me anything about it. Can you join my Discord in the description and show ur shade editor, blend mode settings, and things I may ask so I can help you with the problem?
I tried doing one a few months ago but I literally couldn't find out how to work math.rad to match the slashes' angle with my animations, even after researching it I was still confused. 💀 A nice easy trick would help a lot if possible.
So for this, u need to make sure ur slash animation will cover the size of the slash. Secondly, u need to clone slash at right angle using CFrame. Try setting slash to humanoid root part CFrame and then adjust it a bit with angles.
If it happens only in the beginning, that’s because the texture didn’t load properly, but if it occurs continuously in the animation, there is a problem with the image and u may need it reupload it.
@@MwSama you were right, some of the texture had loaded wrong. also, i know this is very off topic, but do you know how to make a tool activation detector to link to a script? i have the script and animations done etc but the tool activation detector is really weird to script.
Hello! I probably will not make the 4th tutorial any time soon. Definitely can't upload it this week and next week because of important business I have to attend. I can't really guarantee anything. Not really, I think that would be hard to implement it. My idea would be adding a plane with lightning animation on it. Using my method, u can import it into roblox or something. But it’s not that great of an idea because it’s hard to customize it. I prefer rather using a lightning module online which looks way better.
