Thank you so much for thos. People go so fast or have already made. The ones I have made are just hit and miss. Not any more! Now they will be right every time!
Thank you!! I watched it about 20 times to understand. How can those little metal pieces be so confusing?? I am saving this and keeping for reference! So excited to make different bag straps.
I love the good job at the end. Although I have to watch this video every time I make a strap, I still love the validation at the end. You always get a Thank You too :)
This helped so much! I'm making a last minute gift for my mom & once I had the adjuster & clip in front of my I realized that I had no idea how to put them on lol
Hi Lauren, I’m using the quarantine time to get more into sewing. I’ve been making masks every day for what feels like forever now, and I decided I would try my hand at making a duffel bag for a trip that is supposed to happen in August. I had the idea to make a crossbody strap with a hidden pocket in the seam so valuables aren’t out in the airport. But I don’t know how I would do that. I really love your videos and was hoping you would be able to make a video so that I could follow you while I make it?!
Thank you! Do you cut your strap fabric on the bias? Also, where do you get your hardware?! I love what you were using and would like to get some. It looks nice and solid. Thanks!

Ask, remind, remind & you shall receive! Haha funny story. I actually filmed this months ago and thought I’d posted it 😂
Thanks !! I keep coming back to this tutorial when I haven’t made one for awhile 😂

My mind is genuinely blown! The way I was making straps was SO complicated compared to this. Thank you!
Thank you for all the detail. Now I can "start again" and try to get it right. Sigh....Will be watching again step by step! :)
THANK YOU!!!!! I knew i could come to your channel and get a step by step on how to do this. You Rock!!!!!

Thanks for this video...I tend to get myself so convoluted and tangled!
Yes! Great tutorial. 😌
Thank you Lauren!!!
Love the close up view and awesome job on the strap. Tyfs
Love the tutorial, Thank you so much!!
How do I know how long to make the strap material before cutting it
Most patterns have measurements to cut to. The average length is 54”-60”
Excellent detail. I’ve been stumped😂
I needed this, thank you.
Great tutorial--Thank you!
Thanks for a clear video!
Looking to make a crossbody phone lanyard. HELP! Love how easy this video makes the strap but how do I only connect one end?
Is this cross body strap also an adjustable strap?
I want to confirm before I dive in.
That was really cool, thanks!
Lauren, may I ask where you get those trays that you store your orders in before you make them?
To do this is it the needle or the machine ?. Is that a heavy duty machine and what type of needle used?
Thanks Loren, I needed this! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT BEAUTIFUL HARDWARE YOUR USING! DO YOU SELL THIS???
I do
Would this still work like the process, with just a slide adjuster & rectangle slide?
Omg very Nie and interesting to do it, nice tutorial
Thanks!
Great video!
I don’t like the way back stitching looks-Is there an alternative way?
You can pull your threads to the back and tie them off
Thanks Lauren.
Your thread looks very strong, mine telling what kind you use? Thanx!
Bonded Polyester Tex 90
Excellent! Thank you. :)

You can find the hardware on my website! I do not cut on the bias.

Are you using any special/stronger thread or just what you use on clothing?
