I've said it before and I'll say it again, not only are you beautiful and sweet you're also brilliant in everything you do. I'm 60 years old and I learn something new every time I watch your tutorials. You make me a better seamstress. Thank you so very much!!
Ahh you’re too nice 🥰 thank you! I just love to keep trying new things. You don’t see all the behind the scenes times when it totally fails 🤣 but I still enjoy it!!!
Thank you so much for this terrific video. This information is just what I was looking for. I didn't think of doing it this way myself. Thank you again, Jen in Upstate NY, USA
You have a lovely style of talking and demonstrating the technique. Your voice is very soothing and thank for getting right to business rather than a 10 minute pramble. One of the most enjoyable tutorials I have watched in a long time. Thank you!
Couldn't for the life of me work out how this would be adjustable until you got to the end... 😄. Also didn't know you could sew towards a hump jumper. In my defence, I taught myself how to sew during lockdown so it's all a bit hit a miss 😆
The struggle is real when you know you have to use the hand crank 😬🤣. Never thought of doing my straps this way, deffo a much cleaner finish. Thanks for sharing!
You and I think so much alike. I don't like raw edges, floppy linings, straps with too much bulk, etc. Unfortunately, in the pasted I didn't know the best way to solve these issues. Now, I have your wonderful tutorials. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
It's very nice.I kind of got loss where you put it underneath. I'll watch it again to make sure I got your idea. Thanks for sharing 👍 I appreciate it very much 🙏
This is an amazing strap, and the way you explain things is perfect for me, thank you. I had a couple of light bulb 💡 moments while watching not least the way you use one leg of your hump jumper to get close to your hardware OMG I just didn't know you could use the hump jumper like this 🙈🤣Thank you Jo 😊
came across your video and used it for my latest crossbody bag project. it is GORGEOUS, i’m in love with it. thanks so much for sharing this technique!
Excellent job!! Have seen several other videos but wasn't at all impressed with their double sided strap tutorials as I am with yours!! You are superb, girl!!! I love how professional it looks!! I'm definitely subscribing to your channel!! I just love it!! Thank you so much!!!
I just started making purses for gifts and this tutorial is exactly what I was looking for. Very well done! Easy to follow and perfectly detailed. Thank you ❤
I just made this strap for a bag ,I had cut out a while ago, and it turned out just to be great. This is just brilliant. Next, I am hoping to make the Momex pattern I just bought from your site. It will be a real challenge for me!😊
Ive done something similar for wristlet straps but will totally be doing this for ALL the straps now. Just hit me while looking at another bag pattern, you could even to this but with the steps for the first buckle on a ring for and non adjustable shoulder strap and really clean up the strap ends. Like the Lomexa. You would have to deal with the straps during the rest of the build but I think it would be worth it.
Amazing way to put a strap together. I've always struggled with all the bulk, but now I have to try this. First time watching your videos and love them. Thank you to a great instructor.
This is now my go to method of making straps. I did one using denim and yesterday I did a wristlet version using vinyl for both sides and it came out soooo good. Thank you !!!
Hello, thank you so much for your tutorials, i love it !!! The idea is super to use foam inside the strip. When you will join the ends of the foam you can use " Marti`s Choice fusible Tape " It comes in 1 inch wide or 2 inch, you can iron it on the joining ends of thr foam. It works very well !!!!I send greetings from Germany to you, Dagmar
@@CountryCowDesigns the foam is the same thickness if you use fusible tape. If you have leftovers from foam you can also join it with this tape, it is great product
Love this! Such a great way to do a strap. What is the total length of the strap when it is complete? I am making a bag for a tall woman and I need to be sure it is long enough. Thanks!
I’ve never tried it but I assume to would work ok. I’m always very cautious about using vinyl on my domestic machine purely because the thin stuff sometimes stretches (my walking foot and Teflon foot both don’t help with this 🤷♀️) and the thick stuff my machine can’t manage ☺️ but lots of other people use it with no problems on their domestic machines

Thanks👍🏼 I can’t remember but it’s adjustable so you could add 5 inches just to be on the safe side
Great Idea and video. Watching from sunny Orlando Florida
Great tutorial! Thx!
This is a great technique! Wonder if this would work with 2 thin vinyls instead of the fabric. Has anyone tried that? Thank you!
