Concerning 50's mentorship : He actually mentions a lot LL Cool J as influence, Yayo and Banks mention a lot Rakim and Big Daddy Kane but I think 50 too, Em and Dre are more his business mentors, musically and especially attitude wise, not so much. Dont get me wrong, they are crucial to 50's career but he had his flow and attitude before Em took him. Don't forget also Jam Master Jay, who did mentor him before his death, and Chris Lighty from Violator, who was really important to 50 in the beginning.

But shout out to 50 for saying no to his label for asking for his album the following year...and saying Nope...Im putting on my boys 1st. And Always props to 50 for having Tony Yayo come home to a new place and a million dollars straight from jail. Thats the money the rest made from the sales, touring and shit. 50 split it those 4 ways...and gave Tony an even pie...even though he only did 2 songs on this album. Thats real.
Say what you want about 50...but he's definitely a pretty generous guy with his ppl...if they in need or whatever. I havr once to hear 1 of his artist say that he Fd them over financially. Im fact, he overpayed for some artist...that he didnt even see a return from. He loaned not just some of his artist and actors...but other ppl in the industry some money when things were tight. Young Buck this group...when he had that tax problem. Omaria Hardwick...1 of if not Thee Main Stars from Power. And others too. So respect him for that.
