Thanks for uploading, and many thanks to Mr. Giles Martin as well for his explanation; I admired his father very much !!
And isn't it striking how we can recognize his father's voice and demeanor in the son? The attentiveness, the well-chosen words, the somewhat piercing yet trusting eyes. I find it moving, and think The Beatles were very, very lucky to have run into George Martin.
@@mickthenick1 : Thanks for your comment;
I fully agree .. My father is "even" "a voice on a tape" as well............so I can feel what he means by saying this......
Extraordinary. Thank you.
The Beatles, that is a love story
Super cool! On my bucketlist to go inside the studio and record a vlog ;-) I obviously been outside and took a pic at the zebra crossing hehe
Wow !!!! Those pianos !!!
But what about Studio 2 ??
Brillante :)
Cool stuff, can't wait to get the 50th anniversary edition.
very interesting!
ik was daar in 1983, toen ze de studio's openstelde, de originele tapes werden gedraaid toen, kippenvel, moet je na gaan 14 jaar daarvoor stonden ze daar nog
9 november komt ie uit! 😁
perfect day
I want to listen to all the tapes too
The son of George Martin sounds very much like his father.
they sounds like nerds. You cannot understand what they were saying. So technical
This is really interesting! Thank God for Giles, chip off the old block.
Yeah, No?
"Beatles for sale".... dat geldt dus gelukkig niet voor de antieke piano's . . . . !
Tbh, I've never understood why that music and the myth was to be so special for many. It's never been my taste and style, even now. However, I've recently come to understand that they were doing highly experimental new things with sounds and recording techniques, which was groundbraking in the 60s. But the studio itself and the recording equipment, already at that time, was technically very much behind... But of course, a myth can't be disputed lol. Everybody his/her taste I suppose...
So "far behind" that the Beatles' records sound better than any other record from the sixties....
The gear they used is still considered among the best ever and is emulated constantly by modern gear .....the studio itself is still booked constantly.
