God bless Geoff Emerick. I once had the pleasure of speaking to him on the phone; I'd bought a signed copy of 'The White Album' that was advertised as having been owned by Geoff Emerick, with documentation to back up that fact. It wasn't cheap (as you can imagine), but when it arrived, the 'documentation' was merely a comp slip, signed by Geoff - it didn't mention the album at all. The signatures were 'OK' (just), but the comp slip debacle had made me suspicious, so, in desperation, I phoned Abbey Road and asked if I could speak to Geoff! The lady receptionist explained he wasn't based there anymore, and she obviously wouldn't give out his contact details, so I explained and asked if I could send a letter to her, for her to forward to Geoff. It was a forlorn hope, but she took pity and said she would. So that's what I did - I wrote to Geoff, enclosing photocopies of the album and the comp slip, my contact details and an SAE, explaining the situation and saying his information or otherwise could save me a lot of money. I didn't really expect a result, but the following Sunday morning, around 10.45am, my house phone rang, and when I answered, a voice said "Hi, this is Geoff Emerick.... I'm just ringing to say that your album never belonged to me". I was gobsmacked! I spoke to him for a minute or so - what a gent - and thanked him for taking the trouble to contact me. He was really nice. As a result I contacted the seller, explained the situation, and returned the album, getting a full refund. I told them they should never advertise it as having been owned by Geoff Emerick again. RIP Geoff.... I'm in awe of your talent and contributions to the soundtrack of my life, and eternally grateful for your kind response to my letter. You saved me a lot of money, but more than that, you gave me a Sunday morning I'll never forget. You're a legend. *Several months later I saw the album for sale again, advertised as having been owned by Geoff Emerick.... what can you do? eBay is stricter now, thank God.
And I am like John here. Crying. So this is the end of this superb series. Thank you all a lot for this lovely tribute with such a good humour...The funniest part is that some stories like the Yoko eating George's biscuit and also breaking the mic are true! We can imagine it was all creating but it is part of their real lives. Amazing. Now...well now I am going to watch everything again. I love it.
Hey Alvaro, I love your work on this Beatoons, bringing the Beatles life back to us in this wonderful cartoons you created with such great humor. Please, don't stop with the Beatoons series, we all love them so much here in Brazil. Thanks for everything.
I was fortunate enough to meet Geoff at the NAMM show this year...hands down one of the COOLEST people you could ever meet. I pray this is NOT the end of your cartoons. These are so well done. Take as long of break as you need, but I hope in some way you can continue the make The Beatoons :) :)
En otro libro de Emerick titulado "El sonido de los Beatles", cuenta lo mal que lo pasó cuando les veía discutir agriamente en el estudio. Tanto que se largó. Descanse en paz el hombre que los hizo sonar como nadie.
I can't believe Geoff actually did this xD Glad he retained his original British roots, of just having a laugh and not taking things too seriously. R.I.P legend!
Heard new Beatoons coming out in September. Can hardly wait. These are spot on, entertaining, and definitely worth viewing. Great job on all if them. Thank you Al
Te felicito, me divierten mucho tus videos... Yo por mi parte hago Tutoriales para guitarra y por supuesto, tengo mi sección Beatle con muchas canciones.... Un gran abrazo amigo!!! Estamos en contacto :D
Any Beatles fan would enjoy Geoff's book. I just finished it and it was quite insightful and entertaining! If you get the chance, listen to the Beatles tracks as he discusses them because you'll understand the making of them better (Revolver, Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road, and even though he didn't work on it, he discusses some of Let It Be as well).
Rest in peace. He was a very generous collaborator in this video.
You still going to make more beatloons?
Rosy Mercado yeah because its The End already, you know
He actually collaborated in this video????????
@@TwiggyArmstrong Yes, he made the voice of his character, it was an honour for us. God bless Geoff.
@@rosymercado3080 New Beatoons serie is going on. It calls "Beatoonmania". Now at this chanel.
The last contribution related to the Beatles by Geoff Emerick. R.I.P. Geoff
Yoko: *stands*
George: Wait, that’s illegal.

R.I.P. Geoff Emerick. Thank you for your contribution to this Beatoon and to The Beatles themselves.
That bit Yoko reached out to George's biscuits is definitely one of the most memorable stories from Geoff's book!
Taka Honda
That was true?
@@nowhereman8630 yes it was

@@TurboGibby-bh8bu It is the soundtrack of our lives.. and NO other generation will ever know such joy!
At 1:36, I was laughing so hard, due to Yoko's temper which exploded on poor George. Lol.
The end?! That breaks mi heart. So much thanks to Goeff. Don't know wherw they would have been without you. Love
When I wake up early in the morning, lift my head... and the beatoones made my day! Awesome ( as usual) :-) :-) :-)
