I would also consider mentioning that this mic picks up vibrations really good, so getting a shockmount is pretty vital for it to sound the best.

@@anasgeckos3164 If you're using a boom arm, try to combine the mount that came with the mic with the boom arm. Since vibrations travel worse through plastic it has helped alot for me
I just put it on a piece of foam and that works pretty well
You can also put it on a toilet paper roll in the middle of the hole and it picks up no vibration tho it ain't visually pleasing at all

I got this baby for 25€ second-hand but it looks and feels brand-new, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. It is indeed a starter mic but oh my God it's just so convenient in almost everything!

I was looking for a new headset and ended up getting this mic. My kids kept using my HyperX Cloud II gaming headset, so I wanted to another set, then I saw the "HyperX Streamer Starter Pack" which has both the solocast and the "cloud core" headset....and the whole lot were cheaper than buying just the cloud II headset. I don't mind the "cheaper" headset as they are basically the same just with a 3.5mm jack rather then USB, I have pretty good audio on my PC so I think they actually sound better. So now I have the solocast as a mic, and I prefer it to the headset mic as it's not right there in your face, and it sounds better.

Hello, I've had this microphone for a few days and when I use it on my laptop, the person listening tells me that there is an echo, the same sentence is repeated many times and it ends up that nothing can be understood. Can you help me with an advice, what should I do? Thanks in advance

A daw. You can apply vst plugins onto the mic that way (quite complicated). I would try obs with some effects on the mic output instead
what he means is that you can change your audio to how you like it to be using audio programs such as audacity and the plugins they have that you can edit your audio with

Nah it shouldn't affect anything. I use Corsair keyboard with a gpw for mouse and no problems

Tripod or boom arm mounting. Some come with 3/8 inch and some come with 5/8 inch. In this case, the mic supports both sizes of threading.
how does it pair with discords noise suppression?
good
depending on your gpu, nvidia broadcast has an amazing noise suppression that you can add over discord's noise suppression and I have kids screaming and being noisy behind me and all the time and my friends can't hear them but notice it lowers fps a bit. like 15 fps ish for me I have a 3080ti at 1440p

edit: i dont just use mics for gaming, i also record music with it. i just dont wanna use it on pc when i record music cuz the fan noise gets picked up all the time.

Yeah there is no audible click, its a touch sensitive button so there is no "physical" press.
Edit: That is unless you decide to punch your mic while muting.

I’ve had this mic for a while, and honestly when i listen to it, it sounds nowhere near professional, its like a webcam mic.
If anyone can help me figure out how to make it sound better then please do.

Same. My mic sucks smh and I’ve got a boom arm. Still trash.
What you can do is install voice meter and do some adjustments to the mic audio like increase the bass. Also you should install nvidia rtx voice as its so useful in cancelling out background noise. Trust me, there should be a big difference after you apply those changes.

@@cadenlol660 it does work I've been using it since last christmas some people seem to be having issues, make sure you update your drivers and download the software.
