The Sicilian Bottega

One of the treasures of Sicily is what the Sicilian dialect calls “putia” (bottega) and they used to be at every corner of my hometown. In these magical shops you can find everything, from pasta to fruit, cheese, bread, salame, veggies, and it’s all local and incredibly fresh and tasty.
Unfortunately, the number of these gastronomic sanctuaries is declining, but my friend Antonio, with his “Prodotti Tipici di Montalbano” is always there, ready to give you an authentic taste of Sicily at every visit.
