Look at what Coulthard does for RedBull and Rosberg for Mercedes. They pushed Hamilton out by offering a 1+1 deal and no ambassador role, while Ferrari offered a 3 year deal AND an ambassador role even though he's been a Mercedes since he was 13. Crazy.

I understand why you feel that way. Honestly though, Senna was and is still the best ever. He didn’t get a top ride when he came to F1. He had to claw his way into a top ride, which took 4 years away from his true greatness. Unfortunately he died way too soon also. Lewis is a Senna fan, he cried like I did when he passed away. He also hasn't adapted well to these cars, plenty of telemetry analysis videos out there. He likes to break as late and hard as possible, but these ground heavy effect cars with sensitive aero don't like being unsettled. It also seems like the rear end on the W15 unsettles quite easily under braking, which compounds the problem. Alonso said recently that you have to drive these cars at 90% to get the best results, Hamilton just isn't.

I'd actually be really surprised if the W11 could do it. Don't get me wrong, it's overall the fastest car of all time across most circuits, but the Nürburgring is probably too bumpy for a car designed to run on very smooth racetracks

I wonder how Lewis always felt about the seating position in his W04 compared to the later cars with the lowers noses/seating position.
It reminds me of the time Yordan tried to join another team. He should have just gone quietly instead of winning nothing and getting embarrassed on some occasions.
If I were him, I would have never left Mercedes. It’s not like he needs the money. Stay, coach, teach, be part of the team. Be kind and enjoy the experience-it’s such a rare opportunity.
