Don't you sometimes wonder how this character might be different in other AUs? Like Glitchtale or XTale, for instance. ...Except the former'd probably be either Deltaglitch or Glitchrune and the latter would be XRune.
Deltarune Underfell: totally not chaotic. Deltarune Underswap: Terrible puzzle maker speaking in old fashioned language (yes i swapped him with Rouxls Kaard cuz he's the strongest and Rouxls Kaard is the most useless)
Glitchtale: I could see one of the many glitches that Frisk opened resulting in Jevil passing through to the Undertale timeline. He would want to play with Betty for the challenge, but wouldn't deny the opportunity to play with Frisk either, seeing their determination. XTale: X!Monsters seem to be more under Gaster's control, but other than that, I don't really know how he would change. We don't really know enough to tell. Maybe XRune is different in that way, however. Deltafell: He'd be more pacifistic, calm, and less insane. He was locked away for his weakness, no one else wanting him holding the kingdom down. He'd just want to play a normal game with the party, but end up acting in self-defense when Ralsei and Susie threaten him - the fight is instead spent trying to reason with Ralsei and Susie so they'll apologize and get Jevil to stop attacking, not trying to get Jevil to fall asleep. Deltaswap: He'd be swapped with Seam, and take on a lot of his personality, though with some Jevil flair added to it. He'd hold some regret over locking his old friend up, however he understands that if he "played" with everyone, they'd all die. He hides his insecurities about his decision behind jokes, banter, and games.

Character connection is 90% of how swaps work in most AUs - either they trade roles in pairs with whoever they're connected with (ex.
