Demon's Souls: weird experimental phase. Dark Souls: Giant fantasy monsters smashing stuff phase. Dark Souls 2: Dudes in armour phase. Bloodborne: Holy fucking shit what the fuck is that thing wHY DOES IT HAVE SO MANY ARMS!? phase. Dark Souls 3: THE TREE IS FUCKING CHASING ME HELP OH GOD OH FUCK phase.
+SwitchFeathers Dark Souls 3 seems to be the one that integrates all of them, to be honest. We have dudes in armor that sprout RE monsters from their insides because they are being damaged by the Abyss, we have the tree boss, we have the humanoid with serpentine movements that shits on the armored dded of DS2.
I love blood borne and the dlc was probably the best we've got since ds1 I think 3 will deliver though because it's the last souls so hopefully we get a few dlcs to keep the flame lit
Bruns Lee I didn't really like bloodborne sadly. Maybe it's just because I had burned through all the souls-borne games in one go and was tired of them though. Ill have to replay it later
I´ve played all of the Soul's series and Bloodborne. Even after beating Dark Souls 3 I still consider Bloodborne my favorite of the series, maybe the Soul's series are "better", but it all comes down to the atmosphere and enemies. Bloodborne had an impact in me, just because I'm a sucker for eldritch horror, and the fights against hunter bosses were arguably the most fun I´ve had in the series, Nameless king was also an amazing boss. Also I really liked the lack of shields which made the combat faster, which I liked.
I feel like dark souls one did the best world design, demon's souls had the best level design, dark souls two had the best weapons and armor, bloodborn had the best bosses, combat, and pvp and lastly dark souls three had the best enemies and graphics. IMAGINE IF DARK SOULS 4 CAME OUT AND IT HAS ALL OF THAT! Ohhh... One can only dream
if you like fighting beasts then yea, but I prefer fighting knights, a nice fight between great warriors is what I love, so I actually prefer dark souls 2 bosses
+Monkey Devil Luffy They don't have the typical long health bars with the name of the boss on top of them so... (ik that the Stray Demon in DS3 lacks the long bar but, come on, it's pretty obvious)
+j ha-nocri mh, like the blob you call boss? sorry, but every game has its flaws. maybe DS2 had more of them, but no, the blob wasnt really creative at all.
j ha-nocri I have to disagree...I don't know but i hate Armor Spider for it's lazy design and bullshit attacks..Same with the Maneaters...That boss fight feels so fucking cheap.I think that fighting two excact same copies of an enemie is lazy.I mean , couldn't they make at least one of them different? And yes the narrow platforms add a lot of difficulty but does a boss fight need to be very hard to be good?Same with Leechmonger and Adjudicator
j ha-nocri what's so creative about them? Bloodborne ones are the ones which made stuff really horrifying, like Ludwig. Demon Souls' are pretty generic in terms of creativity, I can even feel japanese games' influance, but they are pretty well designed overall, sure. Just like in any other Souls game anyway.
+Fosphor Sorry for the misunderstanding,i only meant it to his moveset as they dont have anything else to do with each other. I think Peter meant it like that too
The boss design has always been very good but i think their best job was in bloodborne. There are just so many, so different strange and horrific creatures! Can't wait for DS3, pretty sure it's gonna be the best in the series. PS: fuck Ludwig
You can tell from looking at dark souls 2, that it doesnt come anywhere close to how imaginative and awesome the bosses that miyazaki had the greater influence on in all the other titles. just big armoured knights with 1-2-3 hit combos, that you attack the ankles of until it dies, at least in dark souls 1 and demons souls we only got 1-2 bosses in each game that did that kind of thing, which was iron golem, and tower knight, but dark souls 2 did it for 80% of the boss encounters, AND the normal guys too, like those stone giants in the forest and anor londo, we only got a few of them, but dark souls 2 had enemies like that pretty much everywhere. i remember fighting flexile for the first time and was like "Oh yay! im actually fighting some sort of creature monster thing! thought id be fighting giant knights and shambling undead the whole game" too bad it didnt stray from that formula, but bloodborne had MONSTERS!!!!! and they rocked.
+Voldebutt agree with you. It's obvious that Dark Souls 2 was a stepback in the series, with all it's humanoid bosses. An BB to my mynd, especially after playing DS2 had too extreamly disguisting and innovative at the same time design of bosses. That's why I can't wait to play DS3, as I hope it will be the balance between DS and BB, and because Miyadzaki is taking part in developing it.
+Voldebutt Lol. Just because you're a fan of monster fights, doesn't mean that everyone is. I liked that there were more humanoids than before. There were still monsters, and there were enough of them.
+Voldebutt I love Dks1 but damn these Miyazaki dick riders... Dark Souls 2 had a large amount of monster bosses as well as humanoid bosses. "Monster" Bosses in Dks2: Last Giant Flexile Sentry Covetous Demon The Rotten Dukes Dear Freja Old Iron King Executioner's Chariot Demon of Song Guardian Dragon Skeletal Lords Royal Rat Authority Scorpioness Najka DarkLurker Ancient Dragon Aldia Sinh Aava Lud and Zallen Belfry Gargoyles Thats not even counting the ones that are "debate-ably humanoid" like Smelter Demon or Mytha. That list has 19 "monster" bosses. That is not a bad amount. You guys need to stop acting like every boss fight in DKS 1 was a "masterpiece" when there are bosses like Pinwheel and Bed of Chaos. Not to mention bosses that you can ankle until they die in DKS 1 as well, such as Iron Golem. And if Artorias is an excellent boss fight despite being humanoid, then so is Fume knight, Sir Alonne, and Burnt Ivory King. Seriously stop choking on Miyazaki's dick already. Fuckin shit is getting old.
+Angel Pacheco last giant AND giant lord = big slow humanoid you attack the ankles of. covetous demon = boring easy lump of shit rotten = even bigger easy slow lump of shit najka = humanoid lady with scorpion body, we didnt need another quelaag freja = giant spider (yea....nice idea, another spider) add fight. old king = slow boring easy humanoid chariot = add fight with a horse (at least it isnt humanoid!) demon of song = HOORAY AN ACTUAL MONSTER!!!! guardian dragon = boring dragon that is a copy of every other dragon in the game besides ancient skeleton lords = boring add fight against humanoid skeletons, right after you already fight skeletons before the boss room, as if chariot wasnt full of skeletons. royal rat authority AND vanguard = add fight against rats (even though we already fought a tonne of rats to get to the boss rooms) lurker = yay! something slightly different and actually well designed compared to everything else in the game! ruin sentinels = more tall lanky humanoid knights, woohoo ancient dragon - endurance fight, boss design was awesome, but very infuriating due to OHKO mechanics. aldia = another boring easy fight, but at least he looked cool and as for the DLC bosses, they were either rehashes of previous fights from souls titles, aava was a really good fight, but face it dude, most of the bosses in this game were all add fights, boring humanoids, or stupidly easy, and in some cases all of those at once. thirdly, if i could suck miyazakis dick, i would be kneeling down with my mouth open this very second.
Out of all from softwares games Bloodborne had the best setting in my opinion. The whole atmosphere fit that game perfectly. It is one of the best games I have ever played. I am looking forward to new installments of the series soon
the thing i hated about ds2 was the boss fights not being as memorable. except for the dlc bosses...the other normal bosses were pretty easy and not really memorable. the only fights i genuinely love in the vanilla game were the lost sinner, velstadt, the angel thingie from the dark covenant and good ole smeltie. the dlcs however was pretty memorable. especially raime and trying to get sir alonne to commit sudoku :3
Good ole smeltie did me up real good the first few times. But i found the fight to be pretty freakin fun as well. On a lesser note the mirror knight and the throne wather and defender were pretty fun as well. Im not a pvp guy so i guess that doesnt really affect me. Running through pve with dual curved swords was a blast :D
Hmm I think PVE wise you are correct, ds2 had lame bosses and a lame world (in comparison to the other souls games). But I think the Scolar of the first sin edition is very good and made the game better overall. BUT it had changes in NG+ that o other souls game had, I really miss that in ds3... PVP in 2 was the shit (after the patches), except soul memory, everything else is better than in ds3 imo...
Judging by the looks of things, I'd have to assume that Bloodborne is a much more horror based game? I've never actually played any of the soul games so I'm going out on a limb here.
Yeah it is. The theme is more tied to a Victorian England-ish world with a Lovecraftian spin. Lot's of unknown horrors, exploration of the human psyche and seeking knowledge that is too much for humans.
***** Victorian era world =/= steampunk All too many people make that mistake for some reason. I just wanted to correct you, because nothing (not even the beginning) remotely feels steampunkish... except _maybe_ for the trick weapons? Even that's a stretch.
I wish people would not shit on DS2 for being "too easy." The only reason you guys think it's so easy is because you already played a souls game and knew the mechanics going into the game that dark souls noobs like myself didn't know (invincibility frames, parrying, as well as the basic mechanics for hitting and dodging). I think the reason why DS2 was so easy for y'all is because you understood how the game worked after playing DS1. I struggled for 120 hours of play before I beat DS2, then only died 28 times in DS1, with a large portion of those on Ornstein and smough. Maybe it isn't that the game is hard, maybe it's just that you're pretty good at it after years of playing. Ever thought about that?
Yeah its true. DS2 was my first souls game, and its was hard for me like newer. I beat it for 80 hours. And then "hardest" dark souls 1 i beat for 30 hours with looting all the items.
1.Allant 2.Flamelurker 3.Tower Knight 4.Penetrator 5.Storm King I just love how every boss in Demon's Souls has a special gameplay element. Like the Storm King and the Storm Ruler or the blind Old Hero. I really wonder why they completely dropped these aspects with the Dark Souls games.
I've always been partial to Leechmonger from Demon's. Not only does he look interesting and have a grotesquely intimidating yet visually appealing intro, but there's something immensely satisfying about chopping him up with a black turpentine coated blade.
+chris ortiz You literally 5 shot him. He is super easy to dodge and dies in a minute.. easy is one thing but he is pure faceroll. Such waste of potential.
+MRTNTTksa yes but bloodborne's bosses where way cooler! except for the nameless king(That fight was beyond epic!) and personally lothric but the rest where just meh.
+Will MaX Demon's Souls-Захватчик Dark Souls-Арториас Путник Бездны Dark Souls II-Прячущийся во Тьме Dark Souls III-Dancer of the frigid valley Bloodborne-Отец Гаскойн обожаю этих боссов))
+Will MaX Maria in BB was so good too! Loved that fight! And Gwynn from DkS1 because of the music, Still gives me chills when I listen to it. in DkS 3 my fav boss is a late game boss so I won't spoil it; but he also has the music going for him! "Ocelot, my dear child" "Ooooocccccceeeeelooooott" Still no idea wtf is an ocelot. left it there to give you an hint when you see him, you'll know! :)
Just fought Abyss Watchers in DS3 and it is fucking superb! I cannot wait to see more! King Allant, however, will forever by my favorite boss in all of Souls.
awesome clip here my top 10 bosses 1. Sir Artorias 2. Lady Maria 3. Kalameet 4. Manus 5. Fume Knight 6. Father Gascoigne 7. Sir Alonne 8. Orphan of Kos 9. Wolf Sif 10. Daughter of Cosmos
Top 5 Souls Bosses Easiest to hardest to me (I have not yet beat DLC/All optional bosses in II and Bloodborne yet so...): 5: Smelter Demon (he's now a pushover) 4: False King Allant 3: Dragon Slayer Ornstein & Executioner Smough 2: Gehrman, the First Hunter 1: Manus, Father of the Abyss My Top 5 favorite Boss battles (1 being favorite): 1: Gwyn 2. Gehrman 3. Nito (He's so easy though, I just love the presentation.) 4. Ornstein n' Smough 5. Gascoigne Top five Worst/Cheapest Bosses (1 being worst): 5. Bed of Chaos 4. Old Iron King 3. Ceaseless Discharge 2. Micolash, Host of my Tentacle Nightmares 1. Rom, the Retarded Spider (Vaati reference)
+Ric Flair I always wonderd just how powerful this guy was in his prime...hes pretty much just a shadow of his former self before hes killed by the chosen undead
I feel like the problem with Dark Souls 2 was mostly the environment. I like a lot of the bosses and dislike a lot of them. Same with Demon Souls, Dark Souls 1 and especially Bloodborne. Easiest to hardest 1. Dark Souls 2 2. Bloodborne 3. Dark Souls 1 (Was the first game I played in the series, that might be why. First souls game that is.) 4. Demon Souls (With black tendency)
Its my opinion nurdo. Also ds1 was easy for since I know literally everything about all the shortcuts and best weapons for each area. I can beat it in about an hour and a half
+Godhead I really think bloodborne is the hardest because after beating it going back and playing the other souls games they feel much easier than I remember them being. I'm replaying ds1 right now and having a shield makes fight so easy haha. I think you're gonna find this order different for everyone though cause a lot of it depends on their playstyle and build. I found ds2 one of the hardest but that probably because I duel wielded through the whole game and never used a shield once.
Oh, and another game you might want to try, maybe it isn't as hard as these games are but it is also hard and the bosses are MUCH bigger...Shadow of the Colossus.
+John Vu Fun Fact: Ico was the game that inspired Miyazaki to pursue game design as a career (If you don't know, Ico is from the same people who made Shadow of the Colossus.)
AKAMichiyoNakashima I know. Shadow of the Colossus is my favorite game. I have the package that includes both games but I can't get myself to play ICO though.
+Praise the sun Bloodborne Dlc>ds3>>>>bloodborne>>>> ds2 dlc >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ds1 dlc>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ds1>>ds2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>demon's>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>minecraft
Woah! Never played Demon's Souls but those bosses look cool! Really hope either Demon's Souls are Dark Souls gets remastered one day. Probably not gonna happen but that would be amazing. Mechanically, and graphically the games haven't aged very well even though the community still loves them.
my God that cleric beast soundtrack in bloodbourne is the best it pumps you up so much lol. but honestly as much as I love bloodbourne I prefer ds1&2 over it, mostly because I feel that bloodbourne has to limited of builds for characters. where as ds1&2 you can use miricals, sorcery, hexes, pyromancy, straight up strength builds, dex. ext. I love the options you have in the souls series and unfortunately bloodbourne had to little paths to take in character builds. tho the overall combat I felt was better lol anyone else feel this way?
BloodBorne is far to be as good as Dark Souls. It has a lot of problems. First of all, the inventory system is realy limited. They are not a lot of armors and they arn't that different. The blood vial system looks good on paper but the problem is that is you used all if them on a boss, you have to farm to get some back. The environments all looks the same (gothic style towns) and it's a shame we don't get more variety in the locations. PVP is far from perfect and the older souls games and DKS3 has the best one yet. Overall, it's an incredible game but it not that good compared to his brothers.
I think the hardest were in demon's souls, because the game was funky and controls were weird, and people werent used to games like it.. But going back to it now is a different story.
Demon Souls: Much variety and very unique bosses. Cool lore and dialogue (sain astrea for example) Dark Souls: Many memorable bosses. Bosses had slow(ish) and tactical feel in them. Dark Souls 2: Big armored dudes and you just circle around them. Bloodborne: What the hell is that!? Big weird cretures swinging left and right like they have AHDH while you camera is jumping up and down. Dark Souls 3: Cant say much about it but im kinda scared its going to be too much like Bloodborne... (no hate just my thought) My favorite boss is Artorias. Ornstein and Smough being close second.
+Heiler Der Welten Haha yeah big armored dudes for sure but you dont really circle around them like in DS2. In Artorias fight you can really only counter attack and Artorias is the agressive one. Ornstein and Smought makes you going up and back and you have to see proper opporunity to attack couple times. I love how big fightning area is and how bosses move much. In DS2 many bosses dont really move that much so you end up circeling around them and rolling past them attacks now and then.
+Rock Out I feel like the approach of making it more like bloodborne would be nice *i like faster gameplay* but I believe they said it definitely wouldn't be as fast as bloodborne. But I fell like the bloodborne gameplay would be nice BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX THE FUCKING CAMERA. Also if I don't get those next gen blood form bloodborne I'm gonna be sad.
+Bruce Wayne Mirror Knight was kinda lame to me, its only gimmick is that you ma or may not get invaded by a human, but his NPC summons add nothing to the fight. I didn't even fight them my first time, and still beat him easily. Raime, Alonne, Aava, Sihn, Ivory King, and Charriot are really cool bosses.
+AllMovieStars You are typical bandwagon hater. The humanoids of DS2 are disliekd not because they are humanoids, but because their fights are stupidly stale and boring with those two exceptions. Or what? Artorias is boring? The Dancer is boring? If you think that you can go fuck yourself.
+Simon Dean Some of the most creative in the series, though! Not necessarily the best "designed", but, gosh, the bosses in the Tower Of Latria alone are just so out of the box, it's ridiculous. And the flying stingrays! An add boss has never felt so much fun. ;p
I enjoyed the Bloodborne bosses because when you first fight (and die to them) you start getting a sense of their moves but than when you reach halfway their health they change and do something crazy. 8:00 Father Gascoigne at the start he has a short axe and charges quite a bit along with his gun. at about 2/3 of his health it extends and becomes 2 handed. Than at half health the guy turns into a bloody beast and completely changing his previous style of combat.
Demon Souls used to be my favorite. Now it's Dark Souls 3. That moment when you're fighting a boss and you know you're screwed but you still get goosebumps with the soundtrack and realise how epic that moment and the game is. Dark Souls 3 Nailed the music and Epicness aspect. In Bloodborne I start to notice the same theme repeating itself in various bosses, that's lame... But it's still a good game.
+JadeFinnaSlay % I feel like the thing they lost were the unique bosses, the newer games just don't have that each was different and more unique than the last.
Demon souls favourite boss: Loved every single one Worst boss: non Dark souls best boss: Orstein and Smaugh Worst boss: Ornstein and motherfucking Smaugh (becouse i am a bitch) Best dlc boss: Artoria the abysswalker Worst dlc boss: The sanctuary guardian (or whatever the was it called) Dark souls 2 best boss: Dark lurker Worst boss: The throne defender and throne watcher Boring boss: Old iron king Best dlc boss: Allone Worst dlc boss: THE MOTHERFUCKING GANK SQUAD (aflicted grave robber anchient soldier vagh and cerah the old explorer) or the kings pets Bloodborne: (i only just bought it and i havent finnished it yet)
+TotaalinenChaaos Demon's Souls' bosses had great concept but mostly terrible execution. Almost all of them are easily exploitable and don't provide intense fights.
Вильдан Махалов Да, если в DS1 нужно было все таки думать и игра бросала тебе вызов и не раз и не два, то тут боссы и игра проходятся быстро, отпечатка не оставляют, по сравнению с другими сериями.
+Jaxson Lahr Well you are entitled to your own opinion however i have many reasons why Dark Souls 2 just is not a great game in my eyes especially in what dark souls is all about. The visuals, the soundtracks, the boss, and PvE environment was well crafted in Dark Souls. Do not misunderstand Ds2 is NOT a bad game, but the feeling Dark Souls gave me is far more greater than what i felt from being on Ds2. When i fight a boss it was mostly epic in Dark Souls where as in Ds2 I felt more cheated in most cases than anything. Dark Souls made me feel immersed in its world and i felt i was in the game itself. Ds2 clearly lacked the visual representation which made me fall in love and delve into the lore itself. In the end dark souls 2 really felt like a disappointment overall to me but I could not shake the constant desire to relive the fight with Artorias or Sif because the awesome experience i had in Dark Souls as a whole.
Dark souls 2 was okay, I loved the weapons and armor( so many of them) and the bosses were.... Eh cool. But I feel like it just didn't deliver as much as I thought it would, still a fantastic game though
I still can't wrap my head around how they made 5 games in seven years. That's how long a single great game could take... and they made 5 great games!!
+zdechlaczek521 at least for now, DS3 had got all the goods from DS1 with all the goods with DS2, this ranges from bosses and world design to weapons, upgrades and PVP. as i've read many times, it's the lovechild between all the soulsborne games into one last and magnificent game for the series
my god..just look to the bosses in dark 2 in comparison with the others..no lore, very low inspiration, areas very poor, music meh..it s not even a souls. .and the reason it s Miyazaki missing at that time
Don't talk shit... People heard Miyazaki wasn't going to be involved (he was, FYI, just not as much as on the other games) and started ragging on DS2 before it was even released. Then like the intelligent hive mind that it is the rest of internet jumped on the band wagon. DS2 is the worst souls game, but it's still a great game and to call it not even a souls game is a fucking disgrace.
Miyazaki actually was helping with the development in it's earliest stades. That's why gamescom 2014 demo and all other early DSII stuff was looking so great. But then B team completely fucked up the rest of the game and especially graphics. This is called false advetisement and people who hate DSII have all reasons to do it.
+ARGENT231 did you know that directing ds2 was actually done by two people up until one of them quit leaving the other guy with a broken game and no time to fix it, then when he directed the dlc he more than made up for it
AMAZING VIDEO!!! I love 'Soul' games. I wanted to ask since you'd played, and im sure as well beaten, all titles. Two list: 1). List the difficulty of the games 1-5: 1 being easiest and 5 being most difficult(deaths n skill required) 2). List of enjoyment and which were most enjoyable 1-5: 1 being least enjoyable and 5 being most enjoyable(biggest sense of achievement and replay value) Thank you in advance my good sir :D
Josh Cobeen Same here i love how the whole areas connect in darksouls 1.But fuck am i excited for DKS3. I hated how the crowd reacted to the first trailer leak.
+lightThatcherry They don't all connect and some that do don't make any sense. Anor Lando is a teleport, as well as the DLC and the Kiln. Ash Lake is below a swamp... Let's just assume that the roof ends immediately past the fog, that still a couple of yards of ston holding up a swamp above that has a castle built on top of it. You can also see Ash Lake from Tomb but can't see Tomb from Ash lake. Each game has huge strengths but major flaws
Travis Bewley Anor Londo is a teleport? Dude check out Iron Tarkus's lore. And Ash Lake has mystery to it and looks sweet. Warping is only present in most places where you an go in and cannot come out that easily just like the abyss.
***** Bloodborne is a casual from game whos only redeeming characteristic is its bosses, but they get old real quick, where its pvp is horrible, gameplay is simplistic, and build variety non existent. Das3 is rehashed unoriginal Das1 references that had a child with bloodbornes mechanics and produced a game worse than both of those.
So you see WHY Dark souls 2 is NOT a true souls game. It's a wannabe souls game. You can like it all you want, but dark souls 2 is the worst game in the souls series.
The first time I faced the blood starved beast in BB, I felt like my heart was going to explode. Then again, that could be said for all the BB bosses (except for Micholash and the witches, those two were pushovers).
D'SS- Tower Knight and Old King Allant, DS- Lord Gwyn, Artorias, Sif, Smough and Ornstein, DS2 Sir Alonne, Bloodborne- Lady Maria, Gehrman also Ludwig, DS3- Abyss Watchers, Lorian and Lothric and finally the Soul of Cinder
Imo, Dancer was the most interesting looking boss FromSoft has created, the design and animations of this boss was the best in the series for me, it just looks so freaking awesome!
Demon's Souls- Never owned a PS3... Storm King looks beautiful and haunting. Heard people's mixed feelings on it, but it looks aesthetically great at least. Dark Souls- Ornstein and Smough, and literally any DLC boss. (seriously, pick one out of a bag and you can't go wrong) Dark Souls 2- Sinh - The Slumbering Dragon, Fume Knight, and Sir Alonne. Honestly can't pick between these three. Bloodborne- Gherman, Martyr Logarious, Mergo's Wet Nurse, Ludwig, and Orphan of Kos. For Dark Souls 3 I honestly have no idea. All these bosses look amazing!!!
C Ooper i fucking hate the darklurker , it was too hard >< , but i really like the pursuer because he's not really a boss, he's a normal guy but a lot stronger.
My favorite boss , was orstein and Smough , mainly because of the great satisfaction on finally beating them . Least favorite ... Great Amygdala on defiled chalice , and the abhorrent beast . If I don't get to see them for a 1000 years it will be way too soon
Dark Souls: Artorias Dark Souls 2: Sir Alonne Bloodborne: Lady Maria aka Waifu And so far I'm REALLY liking the Dancer. I know she was the first boss shown but I mean if THAT'S the boss they show first than the rest are going to be amazing.
All this BB Vs DS3, can we realize the bigger picture of two very different and distinct fighting styles? Mainly: shield vs bullet. Dark souls has a system where sitting back and learning attacks are greatly rewarded, it makes you think about what the best strategy to poke away at a boss and what attacks you might parry. Though passivity isn’t really the only style you can play by, it is probably how sword and shield style usually is. Bloodborne is based on aggression. The bosses show this as well. Cleric, BSB, Paarl are a few that show trying to dodge back isn’t a good idea with strikes that can reach you faster than you can dodge away. Get in their face and tear away. Plus, lost some health? Don’t back away, get back at them and take it back. That shows the huge difference in styles. I love bloodborne, took a bit for me to get really into souls. It’s all about what style we prefer. We can all agree they are amazing games though.
I know you're not trying to be definitive here, but leaving out Maiden Astraea from Demon's Souls (one of the most atmospheric bosses I've ever seen in gaming) really does a disservice to your video.
+SwitchFeathers
Dark Souls 3 seems to be the one that integrates all of them, to be honest.
We have dudes in armor that sprout RE monsters from their insides because they are being damaged by the Abyss, we have the tree boss, we have the humanoid with serpentine movements that shits on the armored dded of DS2.
"Fuck dudes in armour! You can wallpaper your house with dudes in armour! (In fact many frequently do)" (c)
+Roman Gogueshvili YAHTZEE WOOT WOOT
true
+SwitchFeathers if you ask me demon's souls feels like dark souls beta
You seriously couldn't wait two months for dark souls 3 to release so you could do this properly?
+Dutchy the Second was just thinking that same thing
Lol they only showed two bosses for Dark Souls 3 and skipped some bosses for Dark Souls 2 and Bloodborne plus their DLC's.
+Christian Alfaro They made the video when Dark Souls 3 wasn't released yet
+Christian Alfaro They made the video when Dark Souls 3 wasn't released yet
Monkey Devil Luffy
Duh..?
Hence, "You seriously couldn't wait two months for dark souls 3 to release"
Dark Souls III is a fantastic game, but it's gonna need the best dlc in gaming history to beat Bloodborne.
I love blood borne and the dlc was probably the best we've got since ds1 I think 3 will deliver though because it's the last souls so hopefully we get a few dlcs to keep the flame lit
Miyazaki is behind the DLC, no? Regardless of the content, I'm certain it'll be one epic ride :)
Bruns Lee dlc trailers and some weapons + arena out
Bruns Lee bb is bad.
Bruns Lee I didn't really like bloodborne sadly. Maybe it's just because I had burned through all the souls-borne games in one go and was tired of them though. Ill have to replay it later
Am I the only one that's pissed that this guy left out lady Maria & orphan from bloodborne? Two of the best bosses in the whole soulsborne series.
Ya :/
The Orphan? That fight was pretty boring in my opinion... It was too easy for a last fight :/ took it down first try
" It was too easy" said no one ever.
stevebob240 ??? It was! I mean... I thought it was too easy for a last fight...
_ Irettlavv _
ya you're right. i found laurance is harder than him. Orphan wasn't hard actually.
Me too! BB is my favorite so far :)
Dark Souls 1 is the best in my opinion
I feel like dark souls one did the best world design, demon's souls had the best level design, dark souls two had the best weapons and armor, bloodborn had the best bosses, combat, and pvp and lastly dark souls three had the best enemies and graphics.
IMAGINE IF DARK SOULS 4 CAME OUT AND IT HAS ALL OF THAT!
Ohhh... One can only dream
Neil The King
Hehehe...I can't wait
For me BB is in the souls series
Bloodborne really hit the series peak with bosses.
My favorite in the series is probably Ludwig. Babu Kos, too.
SonicPrototype Seriously. It truly takes bosses to a whole new level
Bloodborne has the best bosses hands down.
they all had a sense of fear to them imo like going in you knew you would eventually win;)
Cannon Splartz Maria didn't fear your weebo ass.
I love how it tackles Lovecraftian horror, something I with more games would do.
*Wish
if you like fighting beasts then yea, but I prefer fighting knights, a nice fight between great warriors is what I love, so I actually prefer dark souls 2 bosses
10:33 - 10:45 not bosses....
He didn't know that at the time
+Monkey Devil Luffy They don't have the typical long health bars with the name of the boss on top of them so...
(ik that the Stray Demon in DS3 lacks the long bar but, come on, it's pretty obvious)
Stray Demon is not a Boss either but technically they are Minibosses cause they don't respawn
Actually, the winged knight at the high wall of lothric does respawn. It's just an enemy.
+Gabriel Romero There's a stray demon in DS3.???? O.O WHERE.???
Demon's Souls bosses, the most creative ones. Not just pure brutes. They had their big weaknesses
+j ha-nocri mh, like the blob you call boss? sorry, but every game has its flaws. maybe DS2 had more of them, but no, the blob wasnt really creative at all.
+Hitolf Adler "This one boss makes your whole statement about the bosses in general invalid." Okay.
+Shitposter-kun lol
j ha-nocri I have to disagree...I don't know but i hate Armor Spider for it's lazy design and bullshit attacks..Same with the Maneaters...That boss fight feels so fucking cheap.I think that fighting two excact same copies of an enemie is lazy.I mean , couldn't they make at least one of them different? And yes the narrow platforms add a lot of difficulty but does a boss fight need to be very hard to be good?Same with Leechmonger and Adjudicator
j ha-nocri what's so creative about them? Bloodborne ones are the ones which made stuff really horrifying, like Ludwig. Demon Souls' are pretty generic in terms of creativity, I can even feel japanese games' influance, but they are pretty well designed overall, sure. Just like in any other Souls game anyway.
The Great Wolf Sif.
No question.
I've got one. Why?
Beat him my first try, too easy.
+Simon Dean too sad
+libaconil Easy boss, unique - got worse the more damage you inflicted upon it.. Hurt the feels though!
I kicked that dogs ass on my first playthrough without have even gone to anor londo
My favourite boss is Gehrman the First Hunter. The music, lore and the location are just too amazing.
Penetrator is The Pursuer
+Peter Burnside and what makes you think so?
+Will MaX i agree with him,his moveset seems to be really similar to the Pursuers moveset.
+Csiki576 Well the Pursuer was made by Vendrick, handcrafted as Golems to hunt and destroy the cursed. Not sure how they relate except for move set :p
+Fosphor Sorry for the misunderstanding,i only meant it to his moveset as they dont have anything else to do with each other.
I think Peter meant it like that too
+Fosphor hmm. I thought that pursuers were made by Old Iron king. I may be mistaken
Bloodborne still has the best boss battles and music in my opinion. But still have to wait for Dark Souls 3 DLC.
Knowing FromSoft, the dlc could make the game far greater that it already is
Spoiler alert from the future ds3 is the new King of bosses
this entire video brought tears tears to my eyes. long live the soulborne series.
Amen
You mean long live the soul series.
You mean long live the Demondarkblood seried
Jus say souls series. I'm pretty sure everyone knows bloodborne is part of it
+Mike Thomp bloodborne is not part of the series, miyasaki himself stated it
This video was ridiculously well made. Nice freaking job. Brought me back Lol.
The boss design has always been very good but i think their best job was in bloodborne. There are just so many, so different strange and horrific creatures! Can't wait for DS3, pretty sure it's gonna be the best in the series.
PS: fuck Ludwig
Man, the bosses in Demon's Souls and Dark Souls are very memorial.
"Monster" Bosses in Dks2:
Last Giant
Flexile Sentry
Covetous Demon
The Rotten
Dukes Dear Freja
Old Iron King
Executioner's Chariot
Demon of Song
Guardian Dragon
Skeletal Lords
Royal Rat Authority
Scorpioness Najka
DarkLurker
Ancient Dragon
Aldia
Sinh
Aava
Lud and Zallen
Belfry Gargoyles
Thats not even counting the ones that are "debate-ably humanoid" like Smelter Demon or Mytha.
Angel Pacheco To be fair, Last giant, Flexile Sentry, Skeleton Lords and Darklurker, are humanoids. But I completely agree with you.
+Angel Pacheco
last giant AND giant lord = big slow humanoid you attack the ankles of.
covetous demon = boring easy lump of shit
rotten = even bigger easy slow lump of shit
najka = humanoid lady with scorpion body, we didnt need another quelaag
freja = giant spider (yea....nice idea, another spider) add fight.
old king = slow boring easy humanoid
chariot = add fight with a horse (at least it isnt humanoid!)
demon of song = HOORAY AN ACTUAL MONSTER!!!!
guardian dragon = boring dragon that is a copy of every other dragon in the game besides ancient
skeleton lords = boring add fight against humanoid skeletons, right after you already fight skeletons before the boss room, as if chariot wasnt full of skeletons.
royal rat authority AND vanguard = add fight against rats (even though we already fought a tonne of rats to get to the boss rooms)
lurker = yay! something slightly different and actually well designed compared to everything else in the game!
ruin sentinels = more tall lanky humanoid knights, woohoo
ancient dragon - endurance fight, boss design was awesome, but very infuriating due to OHKO mechanics.
aldia = another boring easy fight, but at least he looked cool
and as for the DLC bosses, they were either rehashes of previous fights from souls titles, aava was a really good fight, but face it dude, most of the bosses in this game were all add fights, boring humanoids, or stupidly easy, and in some cases all of those at once.
thirdly, if i could suck miyazakis dick, i would be kneeling down with my mouth open this very second.
Man Eaters... Man, fuck that boss. Legit made me lose hair haha.
I had to reevaluate my life after those two
+Chaotix McKay I actually played demon souls after I went through dark souls like 12 times and that boss made me quit..
Out of all from softwares games Bloodborne had the best setting in my opinion. The whole atmosphere fit that game perfectly. It is one of the best games I have ever played. I am looking forward to new installments of the series soon
how the fuck you forgot our master gerhman
i have to say that dark souls 2 is the worst of the series but it is still an awesome game
the thing i hated about ds2 was the boss fights not being as memorable. except for the dlc bosses...the other normal bosses were pretty easy and not really memorable. the only fights i genuinely love in the vanilla game were the lost sinner, velstadt, the angel thingie from the dark covenant and good ole smeltie. the dlcs however was pretty memorable. especially raime and trying to get sir alonne to commit sudoku :3
Ye alot of people hate fighting the smelter demon but i liked the boss fight because it actually required skill
The main reason i hate ds2 more though is mainly because how completely BROKEN the pvp is
Good ole smeltie did me up real good the first few times.
*****
It's not steampunk.
*****
Victorian era world =/= steampunk
All too many people make that mistake for some reason.
I just wanted to correct you, because nothing (not even the beginning) remotely feels steampunkish... except _maybe_ for the trick weapons? Even that's a stretch.
+Yourson Isold steak driver feels kind of steampunk-ish.
Great video man loved every game in the series and can't wait for DS3
Its been 5 years. This is still my go-to compilation of Soulsborne.
Its become a problem to find each time actually!
+Duncan f. I dont understand the complains about DS2 being too easy either. Personally I found DS1 way easier even tho It was my first souls game.
Yeah its true. DS2 was my first souls game, and its was hard for me like newer. I beat it for 80 hours. And then "hardest" dark souls 1 i beat for 30 hours with looting all the items.
DS2 IS the hardest of the Souls games.
For me Ebrietas was without a doubt the most difficult boss I fought in any of the games.
chalice dungeon one?
Little did we know, that 3 stage bosses would be a thing... Lord have mercy on our souls
1.Allant
2.Flamelurker
3.Tower Knight
4.Penetrator
5.Storm King
I just love how every boss in Demon's Souls has a special gameplay element.
Honestly think bloodborne had better bosses than Dark Souls 3
Debatable
+MRTNTTksa the only lord of cinder that's "bad" is yhorm
+svegje why? because he's the easiest?
+chris ortiz You literally 5 shot him. He is super easy to dodge and dies in a minute.. easy is one thing but he is pure faceroll. Such waste of potential.
+MRTNTTksa yes but bloodborne's bosses where way cooler! except for the nameless king(That fight was beyond epic!) and personally lothric but the rest where just meh.
А какой у ВАС любимый босс в серии?
сиф
+Will MaX арториас, ну и король слоновой кости тоже норм
а твой вил?
+Will MaX Demon's Souls-Захватчик
Dark Souls-Арториас Путник Бездны
Dark Souls II-Прячущийся во Тьме
Dark Souls III-Dancer of the frigid valley
Bloodborne-Отец Гаскойн
обожаю этих боссов))
+Will MaX Demon's Souls - Penetrator
Dark Souls - Арториас
Dark Souls II - Король Слоновой Кости
Bloodborne - Черное чудовище Паарл
And what is YOUR favourite boss in the series? UPD. Check out my newest video, want to see your comments on it!
+ Will MaX great wolf sif :c
+KillZoXx for me fortunately sif was one of the easiest bosses, but maybe i'm just lucky :)
for me it is the saddest and affection have not deserved to die
+Will MaX Ornstein and smough!
+iViiper never understood why you guys love ornstein and smough so much?
This Video was Awesome! Will you remake this once DS3 and all its DLC are out?
+destruction42k of course m8 !
What are your favourite bosses?
+destruction42k Artorias and Gehrman, the First Hunter, they are my favourite of all series
+Will MaX Favorite weapon? Mine would have to be Bloodletter or sir alonnes sword
+Will MaX Maria in BB was so good too! Loved that fight!
And Gwynn from DkS1 because of the music, Still gives me chills when I listen to it.
in DkS 3 my fav boss is a late game boss so I won't spoil it; but he also has the music going for him!
"Ocelot, my dear child" "Ooooocccccceeeeelooooott"
Still no idea wtf is an ocelot. left it there to give you an hint when you see him, you'll know! :)
Just fought Abyss Watchers in DS3 and it is fucking superb! I cannot wait to see more!
King Allant, however, will forever by my favorite boss in all of Souls.
awesome clip
here my top 10 bosses
1. Sir Artorias
2. Lady Maria
3. Kalameet
4. Manus
5. Fume Knight
6. Father Gascoigne
7. Sir Alonne
8. Orphan of Kos
9. Wolf Sif
10. Daughter of Cosmos
Gehrman? :(
Top 5 Souls Bosses Easiest to hardest to me (I have not yet beat DLC/All optional bosses in II and Bloodborne yet so...):
5: Smelter Demon (he's now a pushover)
4: False King Allant
3: Dragon Slayer Ornstein & Executioner Smough
2: Gehrman, the First Hunter
1: Manus, Father of the Abyss
My Top 5 favorite Boss battles (1 being favorite):
1: Gwyn
2. Gehrman
3. Nito (He's so easy though, I just love the presentation.)
4. Ornstein n' Smough
5. Gascoigne
Top five Worst/Cheapest Bosses (1 being worst):
5. Bed of Chaos
4. Old Iron King
3. Ceaseless Discharge
2. Micolash, Host of my Tentacle Nightmares
1. Rom, the Retarded Spider (Vaati reference)
Worst would be defiled Amygdala, or Ancient Dragon in DS2 (vanilla game).
Never fought 'em!
+OfficerMarmalade Good for you.
They're a real nightmare.
To me the real nightmare was Pinwheel. LOL.
To me the real nightmare was Pinwheel. LOL.
The best boss hands down is lord gwyn the music, knowing who your fighting, the arena, for me it was an awesome moment in gaming.
+Ric Flair I always wonderd just how powerful this guy was in his prime...hes pretty much just a shadow of his former self before hes killed by the chosen undead
+server333 I hope he is the last boss in dark souls 3
i enjoyed gerhman alot more
+gamer hub gerhman was fucking scary dude. That guy chased you everywhere
Gwyn Fight in a Nutshell:
L2 L2 L2 L2
fuckingly awesomely well done.
every single Bloodborne boss was brilliant and perfectly crafted in my opinion. one of the hardest and most addicting games I've ever played.
I feel like the problem with Dark Souls 2 was mostly the environment. I like a lot of the bosses and dislike a lot of them. Same with Demon Souls, Dark Souls 1 and especially Bloodborne.
Easiest to hardest
1. Dark Souls 2
2. Bloodborne
3. Dark Souls 1 (Was the first game I played in the series, that might be why. First souls game that is.)
4. Demon Souls (With black tendency)
Easiest to hardest for me would be
1. Dark Souls 1
2. Dark Souls 2
3. Demons Souls
4. Bloodborne
Its my opinion nurdo. Also ds1 was easy for since I know literally everything about all the shortcuts and best weapons for each area. I can beat it in about an hour and a half
Watch some speedruns nurdo
+Godhead I really think bloodborne is the hardest because after beating it going back and playing the other souls games they feel much easier than I remember them being. I'm replaying ds1 right now and having a shield makes fight so easy haha. I think you're gonna find this order different for everyone though cause a lot of it depends on their playstyle and build. I found ds2 one of the hardest but that probably because I duel wielded through the whole game and never used a shield once.
I never use shields for pve in any of the souls games except for demons
Oh, and another game you might want to try, maybe it isn't as hard as these games are but it is also hard and the bosses are MUCH bigger...Shadow of the Colossus.
That game is a masterpiece in every sense of the word.Though it isn't hard once you figure out how grip works.
+mrDjuroman yeah amazing game but I found it pretty easy.
+John Vu Fun Fact: Ico was the game that inspired Miyazaki to pursue game design as a career
(If you don't know, Ico is from the same people who made Shadow of the Colossus.)
AKAMichiyoNakashima I know. Shadow of the Colossus is my favorite game. I have the package that includes both games but I can't get myself to play ICO though.
+John Vu I tried to play ico but the combat ruined it for me.
Bloodborne>DarkSouls3>DarkSouls>DarkSouls2>DemonSouls bosses
never played demons souls. 100% sure.
+Pirate Skull so no demons souls like I said :D
+Praise the sun Bloodborne Dlc>ds3>>>>bloodborne>>>> ds2 dlc >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ds1 dlc>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ds1>>ds2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>demon's>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>minecraft
ds3 has the best bosses without a shadow of doubt
Woah! Never played Demon's Souls but those bosses look cool! Really hope either Demon's Souls are Dark Souls gets remastered one day. Probably not gonna happen but that would be amazing.
Mechanically, and graphically the games haven't aged very well even though the community still loves them.
Hell yeah great video
my God that cleric beast soundtrack in bloodbourne is the best it pumps you up so much lol. but honestly as much as I love bloodbourne I prefer ds1&2 over it, mostly because I feel that bloodbourne has to limited of builds for characters. where as ds1&2 you can use miricals, sorcery, hexes, pyromancy, straight up strength builds, dex. ext. I love the options you have in the souls series and unfortunately bloodbourne had to little paths to take in character builds. tho the overall combat I felt was better lol anyone else feel this way?
You do realize Demon souls was similar right?
Dr. Plague yea I do lol. Demon souls was really good. ALL the souls games are phenomenal lol. Just some are better then others type of deal
Ornstein and Smough are my faves and i forgot the name of him but the blind hero or something from demon souls
Old hero
Sup
dude i love Snorlax and Pikachu
Technically bloodborne and ds/2/3 are connected because they both have the moonlight greatsword
Dark Souls 1 has MoonLight great sword, you have to kill the Monnlight butterfly then use its souls to make the boss weapon
Cubanify seath not butterfly
Mrplantman1 no its Moonlight Butterfly from Dark Souls 1 google it
You missed DS1 and Demon's souls?
DS1 from seath's tail and DeS from idk
Cubanify he's right.
darksouls.wikidot.com/moonlight-greatsword
thank you for also adding demon's souls some people "xbox" doesn't know is also souls games.
goodwork man
bloodborne best game in history and darksouls also but bloodborne is such master piece
Not really.
+Ganonbros That's why it ps4 only
jojotaz33 LOL. No seriously, it's a PS4 exclusive because sony has the rights on it.
+Ganonbros I know, I'm just saying the reason why it's so small compared to dark souls is because it is restricted to only one console.
Easiest bosses for me were Dark Souls 3 and hardest were Bloodborne.
Yes Bloodborne was harder than DSIII
+Johnny Guarro that's because they toned the difficulty down for new players also if you play co-op you'll beat every boss on your first try.
TheOssie98 Co-op does not count for boss difficulty, as every boss ends up being piss easy with any sort of summoning at all.
Dark Souls 2 boss were the easiest
I think the hardest were in demon's souls, because the game was funky and controls were weird, and people werent used to games like it.. But going back to it now is a different story.
I think you guys missed Seath the Scaleless
+John Campbell because they have no listed minibosses
+Stalkingwolf Was the last Vicar in Bloodborne a mini boss? it is also not included.
awesome video!
Ornstein and Smaugh. Nothing beats the power of friendship.
Except a +10 Claymore.
Demon Souls: Much variety and very unique bosses. Cool lore and dialogue (sain astrea for example)
Dark Souls: Many memorable bosses.
(no hate just my thought)
My favorite boss is Artorias. Ornstein and Smough being close second.
+Rock Out So your favorite bosses are big armored dudes and you just circle around them? Ah I see...
So I'm seeing a lot of people saying that DS2 Boss Battles suck...
Fume Knight
Sir Alonne
Mirror Knight
+AllMovieStars Still tho, they are Epic
+AllMovieStars I don't understand how "humanoid" boses = boring
+Bruce Wayne
Mirror Knight was kinda lame to me, its only gimmick is that you ma or may not get invaded by a human, but his NPC summons add nothing to the fight.
Ya that's like 3/40
Demonsouls had lame boss names.
But cool bosses
+Simon Dean Best bosses ever!
+Simon Dean Some of the most creative in the series, though!
Not necessarily the best "designed", but, gosh, the bosses in the Tower Of Latria alone are just so out of the box, it's ridiculous.
And the flying stingrays! An add boss has never felt so much fun. ;p
+Mystery Yoghurt old monk boss fight by itself makes the game awesome
Penetrator
I dont know, but for some reason, I kinda liked The Persuer the most for DS2
Velstdat was my favorite even though I can't even spell his name.
If only Bloodborne was on PC.
Is there a reason why it only got released on playstation?
Eathonylunchtano Presumably simply an exclusive deal with Sony.
huh gaaaaaay!
+Luke Hamilton will bloodborne 2 be on PC?
Lucky_Lucksman Doubt it, Sony probably has the deal with From Software exclusively.
I really liked the bloodborne music
beautiful video
DS1:Monsters and Dudes in armour
DS2:Dudes in armour
DS3:Monsters in armour
I cant think how to stay with the joke for BB and DS
i just wanted to complain about the drk souls 3 "bossfights" but this video came out 2 months before the release so ^^
+Der_Rusher I was about to say the same lol! It should have been obvious that the first two fights weren't bosses due to no hp bar like normal bosses.
nothing beats demon's souls.
+GUTSHIRO 1999 Seriously. That game was so memorable in every single way. The other games just have failed to emulate it. They have tried.
+JadeFinnaSlay % I feel like the thing they lost were the unique bosses, the newer games just don't have that each was different and more unique than the last.
Terminater maker I feel like the enemies in general were just very bland and not cool. The environments were noticeably less detailed as well.
Demon souls favourite boss: Loved every single one
Worst boss: non
Dark souls best boss: Orstein and Smaugh
Worst boss: Ornstein and motherfucking Smaugh (becouse i am a bitch)
Best dlc boss: Artoria the abysswalker
Worst dlc boss: The sanctuary guardian (or whatever the was it called)
Dark souls 2 best boss: Dark lurker
Worst boss: The throne defender and throne watcher
Boring boss: Old iron king
Best dlc boss: Allone
Worst dlc boss: THE MOTHERFUCKING GANK SQUAD (aflicted grave robber anchient soldier vagh and cerah the old explorer)
or the kings pets
Bloodborne: (i only just bought it and i havent finnished it yet)
adjudicator was a shitty boss tbh
Old monk was pretty bad also
+TotaalinenChaaos Demon's Souls' bosses had great concept but mostly terrible execution. Almost all of them are easily exploitable and don't provide intense fights.
Yeah that is true. i need to update that list
Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 absolutely nailed it with bosses, I think those games clearly contain some of the best fights in the entire series
Thx for the vid.
В DS2 нет ни единого босса, который бы хоть как - то запомнился, игра очень легкая, если сравнивать ее с другими частями.
+Dry gan
+Dry gan а как же прячущийся во тьме?
+Dry gan боссы из длс исправляют все положение
Вам так нужно об этом везде и всегда сказать? Сотню раз уже подобное слышал, но вы всё равно продолжаете.
Shaw evolution of Waifus and cats.
My opinion is Best Cat: Dark souls 2
Best Waifu: Bloodborne, closely followed by Demon's Souls
+UncleButterworth SweetNSalty By Bloodborne waifu, you definitely mean Ebrietas, right? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
+The Dragoon nah, kos
Excuse me, Dark Souls 1 clearly had the best waifu; Bonfire-chan
I feel like I can't watch a Souls video without seeing pure hatred for DkS2 in the comments. C'mon guys, It was one of the best!
It's undoubtedly a really great game. It's still the worst in the series however, in my opinion.
+Jaxson Lahr I can't say I agree with you. I was defiantly the worst in the series, though still pretty good.
scholar of 1st sin is better then original
fantastic vid
I still can't wrap my head around how they made 5 games in seven years. That's how long a single great game could take... and they made 5 great games!!
dark souls 2 is the best of all
Said noone ever.
Demon souls-amazing. Dark souls-Amazing. Dark souls 2-ehhhh. Bloodborne-fantastic. Dark souls 3-fantastic
my god..just look to the bosses in dark 2 in comparison with the others..no lore, very low inspiration, areas very poor, music meh..it s not even a souls. .and the reason it s Miyazaki missing at that time
except the dlcs though they were amazing
+ARGENT231 did you know that directing ds2 was actually done by two people up until one of them quit leaving the other guy with a broken game and no time to fix it, then when he directed the dlc he more than made up for it
nightmare gamer He did not because they promised not to do DLCs for DS2 at all. The fact that they released them alone shows how they treat DS fans.
AMAZING VIDEO!!! I love 'Soul' games. I wanted to ask since you'd played, and im sure as well beaten, all titles. Two list:
1). List the difficulty of the games 1-5: 1 being easiest and 5 being most difficult(deaths n skill required)
2). List of enjoyment and which were most enjoyable 1-5: 1 being least enjoyable and 5 being most enjoyable(biggest sense of achievement and replay value)
Thank you in advance my good sir :D
Stopped at Dark souls 3 because spoilers, but heck this is a great video I must say, good job!
They only showed two Dark Souls 3 bosses which were the only ones known before the game came out.
+Christian Alfaro Well thank you, may the lord of cinders bless your path.
man darksouls 2 was such a weak game compared to the rest.
it got easy because noobs cry its to hard so they nerfed it ds2 scholar of 1st sin is good but I don't like the areas much demon souls is my fav
You can just tell that dark souls 2 wasn't made by the same people. Such a shit game in the souls series.
Still an amazing game
SotFS is better than Das3 and bloodborne don't know what you are talking about lmao.
Hell or He'll?
Man.. The Flamelurker and The Maneaters, those are some good memories right there. Old Monk is still the most unique boss of them all though.
The first time I faced the blood starved beast in BB, I felt like my heart was going to explode. Then again, that could be said for all the BB bosses (except for Micholash and the witches, those two were pushovers).
+Naniun. I only killed 4 bosses in Dark Souls 3 and they were very easy.I hope they improve later.
I've killed five bosses in ds3 and they all looked awesome but were also incredibly easy
From plz nerf estoc
+Naniun. Only go behind him and attack him.
(seriously, pick one out of a bag and you can't go wrong)
Dark Souls 2- Sinh - The Slumbering Dragon, Fume Knight, and Sir Alonne. Honestly can't pick between these three.
Bloodborne- Gherman, Martyr Logarious, Mergo's Wet Nurse, Ludwig, and Orphan of Kos.
For Dark Souls 3 I honestly have no idea. All these bosses look amazing!!!
Wut about Darklurker ;-;
C Ooper Yeah, Darklurker's a good fight, just not personally my favorite tho.
C Ooper
i fucking hate the darklurker , it was too hard >< , but i really like the pursuer because he's not really a boss, he's a normal guy but a lot stronger.
yeah 1 year later i know
My favorite boss , was orstein and Smough , mainly because of the great satisfaction on finally beating them . Least favorite ... Great Amygdala on defiled chalice , and the abhorrent beast . If I don't get to see them for a 1000 years it will be way too soon
Blood borne is my favorite and I've been a fan since demon souls, hope they make a sequel
If I had a wish it would be to play demons souls for the first time again, so damn epic
pontiff sulyvahn... great environment, great music, great boss design, great mechanics and parryable :)
nice video🍀
Dark Souls: Artorias
Dark Souls 2: Sir Alonne
Bloodborne: Lady Maria aka Waifu
And so far I'm REALLY liking the Dancer. I know she was the first boss shown but I mean if THAT'S the boss they show first than the rest are going to be amazing.
+Aknaught92 And now we've seen the first(?) boss, also looks cool as shit.
I like how it's 2017 and people are still hating on a 2014 game.
one thing that is set in stone, they all have badass entrances
+pinkfloid79 My bad, know it. Tried to fix it here ruclips.net/video/GivExagSDZY/видео.html
I like the battles in Blood Bourne. Thet are really fast paced.
*they
Genial video!!!
the storm king will always be my favourite souls boss, running to that sword was Like king Arthur!
