I just got off the phone with Steve, who David recommends to call with any questions. Steve answered the phone right away and was extremely helpful and non biased. I would highly recommend him!!!
Steve Cook was my hair transplant consultant. He's become a close friend of mine, and I feel like he did his best to look out for me and educate me when I was deciding if/how to do surgery. So these days I send people his way when they're going through the same thing. Personally I don't want to be a hair transplant consultant because it would take thousands of hours away from my making music and videos which is my real passion :) ...fortunately for my viewers Steve's passion is educating and mentoring guys experiencing hair loss.
This video is beautiful proof that there is hope for guys like me who start to go bald and aren't sure if there's a possibility they can have hair that will look natural and make them feel good. We all have worried whether other people will notice. Thanks to all the random strangers we met on the street for their guesses. We showed the footage from every single person who participated, and there was no concealer in my hair. This was 100% raw as filmed.
David DiMuzio your hair doesn't look unnatural because it is not. You have endured a lot of pain for your hair.I would only like to see you grow it longer.
I've watched your videos for several years, and never gave a thought to a hair transplant. I was shocked when I saw one of your hair transplant videos the other day. Your hair looks great.
woah man I havnt thought you were that bald at age 23 I am 22 i am feeling like my hair line is slowly receding since I was 17 year old but I think it would take more 7-8 years to that of your 23 age level enjoy your hair life man god bless you
I was also 33 at the time this video was published. I didn't know that David and I were the same age. He has much better hair than I do. I've never had a hair transplant, but I think I should get one because I hate my thinning hair.
Hey David!Have you ever done any research on the antiandrogen RU55841?My friend has been using it for some time now and his hairline looks so dense nowadays. Id like to hop on it and waa curious abt your opinion :)
You should talk to Steve and send him your pictures. He was my hair transplant consultant and is one of my best friends. His cell number and email are in this video's description. MOST guys require more than one transplant to achieve a decent looking head of hair. And that's even from the top surgeons in the world doing the procedure.
I've recently started using a topical compound that contains finasteride, minoxidil, latanaprost, peppermint oil ...etc. It was prescribed to me by my surgeon Dr. Daniel McGrath. I still use my laser helmet as well and take a biotin and saw palmetto supplement orally.
Thank you for your videos David! They are helpful. I am going for a consultation with Dr. Arocha in Dallas TX. What are your thoughts? Thank you again!
Great majority of cosmetic surgeries men have are hair transplants. So it's somewhat weird why it doesn't really come up here as an answer. It also goes to show how natural-looking your transplants are.
I don’t know how many grafts because I didn’t pay that way, so I don’t know how many grafts. I paid by the per-squar centimeter of tissue moved which totals about 26K hairs, 10K first surgery, 10K second surgery, and 6K my third.
I’ve always used laser (currently an iRestore unit) and I’m now using a topical finasteride compound subscribed by my surgeon Dr. Daniel McGrath ...that combo seems to be doing the trick :)
I'd be more interested in getting a HT but I don't believe they last without getting future work done. Scarring is a big concern for me also, that leaves head shaving off the table if the HT starts to look terrible.
I feel ya. It's definitely a concern. Main thing is making sure you're on a good preventative treatment. My last surgery was over three years ago now and my hair currently looks better than ever. Just started using a TOPICAL compound my surgeon Dr. Daniel McGrath prescribed for me that contains finasteride, minoxidil, latanoprost as well as a few other things and it's been awesome and side effect free. I also use my iRestore laser helmet which is a huge boost for my hair. Between those I'm pretty confident I'll have hair for a long time.
Most woman just care if ou have hair and no bald spot.. if you have a transplant theya r enot going to guess you have had one because it is still uncommon for men to actaully get them..
Hi David ..... If u think u have given all information on hair loss and hair transplants in ur videos, then u need to know that u missed something really tricky... How many body and beard grafts or hair as u say with average thickness can be used in a transplant ?????? Will they gain length????? If we have limited scalp donor
It’s best not to rely on body hair for a hair transplant. Many surgeons won’t do body hair transplanting. If you’re going into a transplant with the plan to use your body hair as well it would be better to not go the direction of transplant at all and just wear a hair system which will give you a thicker look than a transplant anyway.
David DiMuzio actually what my case is... That I have a good donor with good thickness... Approaching towards class 4 max...I am planning to have a fut + fue which will make up for 70 percent ... But will need some more density on the back for which I am thinking of going for body and scalp donor and adding SMP. For final looks. I am from India (Asia) with straight black hair and I have a good beard and hairs on the chest and shoulder... I am using minoxidil 5 percent since a month and not willing to take finasteride... What do u sujjest... Waiting for ur precious reply friend........
You should use both a laser helmet (I use iRestore, but there are other good ones as well) and a topical finasteride compound. I have one that my surgeon Dr. Daniel McGrath prescribed for me that I've been using for about 4 months and it's awesome. Topical doesn't have nearly the same cases of side of effects that oral does.
As I said I wouldn’t recommend doing surgery with the idea of using body hair. If your hair loss is to the point where you don’t have enough donor hair on your head to start and you’re already extremely bald you might be better off just using a hair system. Body hair is a last resort, very expensive, most surgeons don’t recommend it, and generally it looks like body hair on the head (so not appropriate).
Hey David, I am going bald. But still not a candidate for a transplant. Class 3 right now, with lot of thinning. My doctor told me that I will go up to class 5. Not willing to take. Finasteride. Can I some how prevent my remaining hair. Waiting for it reply. Hardcore follower....
Thanks, I lived with that look for about 10 years. I felt it was holding me back though in my career. I still feel like it did, so I'm very happy to look the way I do now :)
Seriously mate ? How will people knw ? This is not a wig, this is your original hair even if u did the surgery . I mean u got ur hair back nw u can cut it u can bald it will grow again m happy for u 👍👍👍
Sort of. About 3.5 months ago I started using a TOPICAL only compound my surgeon Dr. Daniel McGrath prescribed for me that contains finasteride, minoxidil, latanoprost as well as a few other ingredients. It's been awesome. Definitely seen an improvement in my hair since using it, and it's been side effect free. Everyone else I've talked to who's used it has said the same. I also use my iRestore laser helmet. Between those I'm pretty confident I'll have good looking hair for a long time.
Dude... I just realized I sold you a vocal harmonize stomp box in Green Hills like 8 years ago maybe longer hah ! I'm pretty sure you told me you were doing music in Thailand or something. Check out my new 100% solo made work at www.blindfoldsanddaggers.com
i dont think its that the people who say they can tell are being spiteful, maybe insensitive! but some like myself watch video after video so i can usually tell any transplant or dental veneers/crowns,bit sad lol!!
I use iRestore to help me maintain and strengthen my existing and transplanted hair. Only surgery can completely rebuild a hairline that no longer exists.
He totally could have seen me on RUclips. I never asked him. Since he's had a bit of recession on his hairline my assumption is that he's personally looked into having a hair transplant himself, and is therefor much more sensitive to the idea of guys having hair transplants. Possible he'd already come across me on RUclips while looking into them.
Sorry but it's obvious to me. They never get a natural hair line or fill in the temples properly. As long as you are happy then I guess that's all that matters.
There are literally 50 actors/athletes you know and love that have hair transplants right now and you'd never guess. Gotta drag yourself out of the well, there is hope.
Your hair looks fabulous and doesn't look transplanted at all. Only after careful examination of your hairline, anyone would know that you had a hair transplant.
That's a pretty racist comment, and yes I am Jewish. Being Jewish is awesome. The point isn't the money. It's just having some incentive to guess correctly.
David DiMuzio you are almost certainly wearing concealer in this video because in every other video it looks pluggy. Im not saying this to be mean I just think you should go to a good hairline surgeon and get a repair to soften it up. Stop lying to yourself and your viewers pal.
some people actually think it looks pluggy, not realizing it is because of the comb making stripes/patterns, and not the Fue. people just don't realize Fue is 1-by-1 hair.
I just got off the phone with Steve, who David recommends to call with any questions. Steve answered the phone right away and was extremely helpful and non biased. I would highly recommend him!!!

David DiMuzio your hair doesn't look unnatural because it is not. You have endured a lot of pain for your hair.I would only like to see you grow it longer.
but the fact that it's expensive surgery makes hope a dim one.
Please answer my question in comments David dmuzio
at the end of day hope is everything
Amen
Wierd looking shirt is fooling them all into saying chest
Obviously the people who watch hair transplant videos on the internet will guess but who else would
I've watched your videos for several years, and never gave a thought to a hair transplant. I was shocked when I saw one of your hair transplant videos the other day. Your hair looks great.

I think the hidden point behind this video is if you're wanting to get chest surgery just do push ups.
haha, yup. I do 100 push-ups first thing every morning when I wake up.
He guessed hair like he knew you? How could he have told that quickly
Yep. however, a super-great transplant > no one can guess.
He's probably balding himself. The only reason i'd be able to guess right away is because I watch hair transplant videos all the time lmao
I used to live in Austin, Im gonna call the surgeon that did this dude's hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People are more polite in person then they are on the internet. They're not going to tell you it looks bad to your face.
Hi David dimuzio and Steve Cook. Thanks for making these videos. You're saving people's lives :)
Awww, thanks man!
You are adorable! Just randomly came across your videos and I couldn't tell at all prior to learning from some videos that you had that transplant☺
Thank you 💜
David DiMuzio omg you replied! Lol wasn't expecting that haha you are so welcome!!🤗
Are you on finasteride/minoxidil?
Nice experience !
It looks totally natural. What à change !!!
By the way, how many hair transplants have you had until this video?
Thanks
3 hair transplant surgeries. Thanks ☺
@@DavidDiMuzio thanks à lot ! Enjoy your new life!!!
Hair transplant with you own follicules or how? Where did you get the hair for transplant from?
Look up FUE hair transplant.
All guys are like yeah not bad
I would know but only because I have been researching hair transplants for the last 5 years and am getting one myself later this year.
Fantastic job. Who was your surgeon?
perfect job, i hope my results wil nice like yours
What's the cost and recovery time. I so wish I could afford this guys doctor.
Hey David!Have you ever done any research on the antiandrogen RU55841?My friend has been using it for some time now and his hairline looks so dense nowadays. Id like to hop on it and waa curious abt your opinion :)
Knowledgeable video about losing hair David. Keep up👍👍👍
what so Knowledgeable about it?
Dude I just wanna ask, and I hope you reply. Why did you have to have 3? I'm only asking because I'm thinking of getting 1 done. But is 1 enough?
You should talk to Steve and send him your pictures. He was my hair transplant consultant and is one of my best friends. His cell number and email are in this video's description. MOST guys require more than one transplant to achieve a decent looking head of hair. And that's even from the top surgeons in the world doing the procedure.
Can you style it anyway you like? Can you style it down or swooped across?
I guess I could but my hair type is a little curly/wavy and doesn’t look good styled that way
Do you still take finasteride or minoxidil?
I've recently started using a topical compound that contains finasteride, minoxidil, latanaprost, peppermint oil ...etc. It was prescribed to me by my surgeon Dr. Daniel McGrath. I still use my laser helmet as well and take a biotin and saw palmetto supplement orally.
David DiMuzio Do saw palmetto have same side effects as finasteride?
Thank you for your videos David! They are helpful. I am going for a consultation with Dr. Arocha in Dallas TX. What are your thoughts?
Thank you again!
"Theirs nothing wrong with your hair" Not now their isn't.
Great majority of cosmetic surgeries men have are hair transplants. So it's somewhat weird why it doesn't really come up here as an answer. It also goes to show how natural-looking your transplants are.
you have a very natural hairline.congrats
Thanks :)
How many transplant surgeries did you have in total?
3 in total
Scalp and body hair usage as donor right?
So you got 3 times of hair transplant? If so how many grafts the 1st 2nd and 3rd?
Thank you for your vid .;)
I don’t know how many grafts because I didn’t pay that way, so I don’t know how many grafts. I paid by the per-squar centimeter of tissue moved which totals about 26K hairs, 10K first surgery, 10K second surgery, and 6K my third.
Would yiu recommend some hair transplant Doctors with cast experienced in the PHILIPPINES?
Are u on some kind of medication after hair transplant...i mean finstrd or mnxdl?
I’ve always used laser (currently an iRestore unit) and I’m now using a topical finasteride compound subscribed by my surgeon Dr. Daniel McGrath ...that combo seems to be doing the trick :)
My question is what if u stop the medicine ? It will go again or what will happened ?
Even u told me I just still can't believe it.

David DiMuzio hi David I was just wondering is latanoprost effective?
Nah you wouldn’t no you had that done at all unless you told them or they have seen you on RUclips
I feel like anybody who's dealt/researched about their hairloss would guess 1st try that you had a transplant
Possibly, but to me that's not really the point.
Most woman just care if ou have hair and no bald spot.. if you have a transplant theya r enot going to guess you have had one because it is still uncommon for men to actaully get them..
You're hair looks great
95 percent that see you had hairtransplant are guys that are very informed about hair implants.
Exactly, they know exactly what to search for.

How are things now?
I had to have a transplant because I could not live with being bald but, from the thumbnail, you could have actually pulled it off quite well.
Thanks, I lived with that look for about 10 years. I felt it was holding me back though in my career. I still feel like it did, so I'm very happy to look the way I do now :)
sir .. all of your cover are awesome ... i want to have 1 cover song with u someday
David, that's awesome.

Always.

Who did your transplant
Dr. Daniel McGrath was the most recent surgeon I used, and was my best experience surgery wise.
you get low key salty when they get it right lol
Your comment is low key salty ;)
What a fun video, I could never guessed that if I don't know you.
I actually think you looked decent without the hair. But if the transplant made you happy then great!
No he fucking didnt
FUE and FUT which one
I've had three FUT surgeries.
David DiMuzio which hospital doctor?
Bro, nobody gonna know you have a hair transplant at this point, can't pin point out so easily!!!

What Dr. in Austin?
My surgeon for my last transplant was Dr. Daniel McGrath in Austin, TX.
David DiMuzio how many transplants are necessary?
LMAO hand and NECK cosmetic surgery really? Harvard would like to know the location of those girls immediately.
i dont think its that the people who say they can tell are being spiteful, maybe insensitive! but some like myself watch video after video so i can usually tell any transplant or dental veneers/crowns,bit sad lol!!

It looks natural, you probably understand people are haters
Boy, do I understand more now than ever, haha. Thanks 🤘🏻
You still have a lot of donor hair left for future if needed ?? Hair looks thick and high high density in donor areas 😄

Sure.
