    I love that you did this video, these are my 3 out of 4 favourite birds, Patagonian Conure being the 4th. My Crimson is very active and a bit beaky, but I love her soooo much. She’s super fun and inter-active, we have loads of different sounds that we play with together and she’s super sociable and inquisitive. She spends a lot of the day hanging out with me with whatever I’m doing.

    Crimson bellied conures are rare but they can be found occasional.

      Interesting, there are clearly different parrots available to you than to me. Like your Sierra, almost none here. And it looks like you got a second one!

    They are all awesome but the Golden Conure just has something very alluring about them. Fortunately, they are now available to be purchased, and the pet trade is one of the main ways in which they are making a comeback from the endangered list, that they were on at one time. Of course, I'd have to be able to afford one, lol.

    • @ParrotBliss
      @ParrotBliss  2 месяца назад +2

      Yes, you are correct. It’s the fact that some are in captivity that is allowing people to put some back in the wild/take them off endangered lists. And yes, they are wonderful, but you aren’t kidding about the price!

    my conures screamed a lot.. now i do have 2 cockatiels and want a mini hahn macaw too, but would i do have problems with my parents, if the hahn macaw would scream all day long? He should be the same loud limit like the conures but not all day long with screaming🙏🏼 But i really want a hahn macaw so, before i wanted a crimson bellied conure one but then i fell in love with hahn macaws❤ In other websites, i hear most of the day the hahn macaws are calm and not so much noise at all? is it true, thanks for help🥰

      @ParrotBliss  Год назад +1

      I'm sorry to say, I have heard that people's Hahn's are loud - and mine can be too. She has times during the day when she is loud. She would add to the noise of the conures. You may be bettter off waiting until you live somewhere where the sound doesn't matter.
      Emerald, mine, is a sweet girl and I love her. But if I could make her a little less loud, I would

    • @ParrotBliss
      @ParrotBliss  3 года назад +2

      I would be so happy to, but I've never had the pleasure of seeing a pearly conure. They are similar; I believe they we're first classified as the same and then later identified as 2 species.

    i don’t know if you remember but i asked you if i can own a green cheek conure and a caique to be friends.but at my local parrot store they said it’s probably not the best idea so i deciding a hahn’s macaw or another green cheek.what do you think? also i can’t find any mini macaws in my area.

    • @ParrotBliss
      @ParrotBliss  3 года назад +2

      What area are you in, James? Hahn's Macaws can be hard to find. If you already have a Green-cheek Conure then another similar Conure is best if you want them to get along. There's Black-cap, Crimson just to name a couple.

      @@james___4013 The breeders that I know are down here, in Florida. However, I think Hahn's are down for the season, meaning that the babys have already hatched and won't again until next year. @ParrotBliss Prosecco is the female and Matcha is the male, they are now very bonded but the male is a runt compared to her. Proscecco is from a San Diego breeder and Matcha is from a small rural town in Texas. I'm wondering if their size difference has to do with the upbringing in their nutritional intake as babies or if its just natural that some birds of the same species are just different sizes. Lovely parrots 🦜 healthy big cage lots of toys and playtime outside of the cage. The female enjoys flying around where as matcha is a walker and climber and flys less than her, matcha being smaller is concerning to me. I had him DNA tested for diseases etc came back good. As far a breeding them Prosecco seems she's interested in matcha she backs her tail to him, little matcha seems confused and begins grooming her

      @@ParrotBliss They actually get along together. My quaker is around 14 months now and I got him first. I got my conure recently and once my quaker saw him he started preening him. My quaker is not as territorial as his species maybe because we used to move his cage and touch his cage and toys :). Each one has their own cage but I frequently see the quaker joins the other cage.
