Final Fantasy III was the second of two Final Fantasy NES games to be released only in Japan, leading to the fourth game in the series ( tasvideos.org/... ) being released to the rest of the world as Final Fantasy II. The game brings back the experience point system from the first game ( tasvideos.org/... ) while changing up the character jobs formula by allowing the player to change a character's class mid-game as well as acquire new and advanced classes.
In this movie, the author, naruko ( tasvideos.org/... ), abuses a bug that causes character inventory to overflow, corrupting the game's memory and triggering the credits early.
This is an improvement of 00:29.22 seconds.
--------
WARNING: There are flashing lights during every enemy encounter which may cause epileptic seizures to those affected.

Ah yes, Final Fantasy 3. The story of four brave youths who change their equipment repeatedly in front of a bug, turn into an old man, and then the world is saved somehow.
It's actually an old woman, Unne. Wtf meng don't u know final fantasy? Smh
It used to take us longer to get this game to work on the U.S. NES back in the day than it did to finish this speed run. 👍

What the hell just happened, I blinked, boss is dead. I blink again, game is over. WHAT
7:23 I didn't know MissingNo. from Pokemon was in this game.
The BGM my goodness hahaha
The four light warriors returned to Ur, messed up with their equipment, one of them turned into Unei and suddenly saved the world. The End.
A random encounter inside a populated town?
FF3 has a little area in that town where you can encounter monsters
It would be nice if the author of this explained how the overflow is performed and if humans are capable of performing this outside of a TAS.
They probably are, the Mario World speedrun requires pixel and frame perfect setups and yet humans are doing it in RTA.
@@jinshootingstar still would be nice if they explained it. Using the subtitles. A few others do too.
There’s always a link in the description to the movie page on tasvideos.org, which has a link to the submission page where the author usually explains in great detail what happened. The submission page for this video has a commentated version, and a lot of diagrams of memory further down the page.
@@Tustin2121 Thanks for the info. I'm aware of all that. However, I'm referring to maybe using captions to explain the glitch as the events happen in the video.
@@asra-5180 I agree. This would make these speedruns uploaded to RUclips have more value to the viewer.
please tell me how this works please link me the bug thanks dude
yes
I hate Final Fantasy titles. They're too long.
