Thank you! No mindless talking, no irritating music, just a Great video on the process! Most comprehensive one I have found! I will now be making these!
Loved the simplicity in the design, I'm going to be making one based off of your design for my mother in law for christmas as the just got a wood stove!
I used 3/4" pine. It is strong enough to do the job. Pine is lighter and cheaper than most hardwoods. DO NOT USE plywood, with plywood you could not tack into the edges as you need to. By the way, the hinge joint is made by having a large rectangle (like a band-aid) go over the gap left by trimming off the top piece then tacking it down to the back. Good luck!
@@ciimyaku2666 Wow! We are 5000 miles apart! I hope you and your family are staying safe during this pandemic and you will be able to get your vaccinations soon. Take care and have a great Easter.
Thank you! you! I hope you try to make one, you will enjoy the results. By the way, in what state are you viewing my video? I would like to add a pin to my map for all my video replies. Thank you!
That is just blue painter's tape to keep any stain or glue off of the copper pipe. By the way, what state are you in? I like to put a pin in my map for all of my replies. Take care!
I needed to draw it out roughly, then fold it in the center, finally cutting the outside shape to keep symmetry, like paper snowflakes. There is probably a better way but this simple method always worked for me. By the way, in what state are you viewing my video? I would like to add a pin to my map for all my video replies. Thank you, I hope you try to make one. I forgot this one step here is what I wrote to another reply: I don't know why I left that step out. What I did was take a single large rectangle of faux leather (think of a large band-aid). I layed it over the open hinge area (think of a large cut). I then turned the edges under as I tacked down the rectangle. On the back side, they should almost touch. Make sure the added piece makes an airtight patch. This will be your hinge.
I wish you would have spoken instead of typing. We aren't sure what you did with the faux leather down at the narrow end (on both sides) where it goes over the discharge spout. You just showed that it was done.
I am sorry, you are right. I don't know why I left that step out. What I did was take a single large rectangle of faux leather (think of a large band-aid). I am retired after 40 years of teaching. Due to Covid I could not continue to volunteer in classrooms. For me the next best thing was teaching folks how to do things on RUclips and sharpening my video editing skills. For the last two years of Covid these two hobbies have been wonderful distractions for me. I especially enjoy reading comments of appreciation from people all over the country and even the world. I don't consider my efforts wasted.

Thank you for your comment! I hope you make a bellows.
Well done sir, but why not just draw the shape on the paper instead of the board in the first place? Then you don’t have to trace it?

Thank you sir. I will give that a try.
Is the round or tear drop shape the better I should use.?
@@jenky1044 I would say both will move enough airto do the job. You should decide which is more appealing to you visually.

Buen trabajo, de pronto no entendí porque dos cortes en el extremo del fuelle.
¡Gracias! Los dos cortes al final eran la bisagra de cuero para mover los fuelles.
