- This was such a windy day to dive but I loved every minute of it! I gave myself one hour (which quickly turned to 1.5..) to salvage as much as I could from the dumpsters around town. I primarily went to apartment complexes and found so much home decor, XBOX games, clothes, and school supplies!
UPDATE: The room divider sold for $25 within 1 hour of being listed on Facebook! YAY! #TrashToCash
I will be using the pretty construction paper I found to reply to all of your letters!! Since we were out of town i've been a little behind on writing everyone back (not to mention I was so overwhelmed by everyone's support and love!!), but I promise to respond before the new year! :D Much love and thank you for watching my videos!

I'm beginning in diving and one day onschool break my grandson and I went diving and we went to 5below but it was filled with shoe boxes and we couldn't believe they all had the tennis shoes in them,I don't know how many we got but my grandson got 3 paired of high doller shoes I got 2 pair my husband one,my sons2.the rest we are giving to my church.I'm so thankful and blessed.
I took my boyfriend with me dumpster diving/picking and we found a visa gift card that has $95 on it all the person bought with it was a Starbucks drink, how lucky is that tho. Once I started dumpster diving it's so addicting though too.

Just a heads up , the move outs and in's happen at the last and first weeks of the month. And if people get evicted, the middle of the month, so your best hunting will frequently be these times. And today I had to clean up after a diver who tore the bags open and left the contents on the ground. Thank you from all us trashmen who appreciate the fact that you don't do that. Keep setting a good example :) !

You and Steve and Steph, and Dingbat Lady inspired me to start dumpster diving. Today, I found a Samsung 32inch flat screen TV with power cord, and remote. It works perfectly, looks brand new, and I don’t know why someone threw it away. It was wrapped up in a garbage bag, tied tight. I am so glad-hearted! 😊

Kelly is probably the only one that does that. It takes a little more time but it's cool I like that part of video. The only drawback will be some people might go to the end of video.

That folding knife is actually pretty valuable. Its a Spyderco Ladybug, even used sells for 25-40$.
Cool to see the challenge of a hour dive. I too like when you have it all out or a table makes it more real. Like seeing the treasure after a hunt.
The barbell is used in water aerobics and water therapy.

Kelly, bless your heart on the time limit. Boyfriend and I back in the day, dove until daybreak. Two truckfuls of items. We came home, unloaded and went back out. Got barstools, five vacuums, jewelry, candles, and a down comforter among other things. I've almost always found liquor and sealed canned food items, too.

It is about the only thing on my bucket list. I am 69 (actually 70 in a couple of weeks) and am living with cancer, diabetes and fibromyalgia so it would be hard for me but I will do it at least once! Thanks for the inspiration ❤️

I went dumpster diving a few months ago and I found stuff ! Maybe after I have my baby I’ll go more often 🙌🏻 I found a ton of cards in the Barnes and nobles dumpster and at old navy I found a baby outfit in good condition nothing wrong with it 🤗

My parents demo'd their 25 year old hot tub that came with the house it was a nice one but time to go. They had a stash of the maintenance supplies for it they listed for free on Craigslist. First come first serve the girl who picked them up was thrilled they moved into a house with a hot tub and had found out how expensive it can be to get it up and running and to manage the water. Yeah we could have sold it but at this stage of their lives it's easier and fun to give it away.
Am going to do the same as I move households... am disabled and that will help me get rid of stuff with minimum labor...might even let a trusted person or two carry their treasures up from my basement...you can have it if you can haul it. Dont worry I have security cameras galore.

That planner is an Erin Condren planner, and they are expensive! I couldn't believe when I seen that in the dumpster! It's crazy to me that someone just threw it out! That platter is beautiful!!

I have to say your trip to Vietnam was A DREAM. you showed EVERY thing about this in the best way possible. I felt like I was eith you. I was afraid as you went in the Rick's and slide down the natural wafer slides it was truly amazing. Thanks to you I took a frip I cod never afford to go. I see a lot of crafters on RUclips that would use those wooden blocks, if your going to sell them. I'm glad u got to take a lovely vacay 😊. I'm glad your back home and diving. I love your videos. I would have loved getting the divider but I don't live close. Glad u were able to find a buyer. It was amazing what u found in an hour and a half. People throw away so much. A lot of it could be donated to an organization that could sell and give to homeless or something. Anything but thrown in the dumpster. Don't donate to GW, I usual donate to Hospice. They help so many families who have loved ones who are at end of life.
I LOVE fleece blankets, like the green one you found. I have 3 of them. Also, I recently visited your Poshmark for the first time and found a great sweater with matching infinity scarf which I wore on Thanksgiving and received many compliments on it. It's warm and comfy and I absolutely love it! People were shocked when they asked where I got it and said "a dumpster", which was really funny and puzzling to them since I use a wheelchair, lol! Of course I explained and everyone was like "What a great idea!"
